02/12 – 162 – There goes the bloat of the last few days, yay. Did not go to the gym but made it through the day OK yesterday. Draggy again today but don’t have to go anywhere except drive DH to work.
02/13 – 161.8 – No gym today as still feeling off, although much better. Will get my exercise shoveling out the car so I can go pick up DH. Glad our driveway is short.
02/14 – 162 – DH brought home chocolate. My cals. were low for the day (at that point) and did not eat it all so was only a tiny bit over.
02/15 – 162.2 – Feeling back to normal. Caved and bought some fancy ice cream yesterday which made DH happy. I had ½ cup which I can manage and keep within cals. The trouble is the cravings that starts – maybe I should do a “test” and see how many days it takes of not caving till the craving goes away, lol?
02/16 – 163.4 – Well, there’s the chocolate and ice cream. At least I have 6 days to beat it back down.
02/17 – 163.4
02/18 – 162.8 – Off to the gym today. Seems like forever since I’ve been there.
02/19 – 162.2 – Good workout yesterday. Just did my usual but have some sore muscles today – shows what a 1 ½ weeks of no exercise can do. Just feel so much better.

End of Round 67 - 321.4 (-7.4 lbs)
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 322.6 - Eh. It's a fluctuation most likely from water. I don't mind it as long as it doesn't become a trend. I'm trying a new worksheet that my dietitian gave me to go off of for this week and see how it goes. It is designed to maximize my nutrition or my calorie intake. Overall I am feeling stronger, better, and more energized. I'm good and for the first time in a long time I can say that and mean it.
02/13 - 322.0 - So, yesterday was a rough day. I had a binge, small, but a binge and I was fine until I saw the numbers, then I wanted to purge. I cried and just saw myself ballooning to 600 lbs and more. Ed was screaming in my head to purge, purge, PURGE. Instead I spent the day doing self-care. I ditched the exercise as I couldn't trust myself to not take it to an extreme, so I rested. I hooked (crocheted) and made progress on my heart scarf that I am making just for me. I decluttered my tables in my living/dining/exercise area. I spent time snuggling with Alex the Mighty (see profile picture). I watched shows that I enjoyed on Hulu. I went to bed at a decent hour.
02/14 - 322.4 - TOM hit! 2 weeks late, but finally hit. This isn't that uncommon with PCOS. Feeling bloated and kinda blah today. I worked really hard in pulmonary rehabilitation today. I have three more sessions and then I'm done. I will graduate into my insurance's program for health in a gym. I get to choose between Planet Fitness and the YMCA. YMCA is within walking distance and Planet Fitness is just a short hop away on the bus. So, not sure which one I'll go with. I'm nervous about today. I'm going to a potluck and going to try and not freak out if I eat more than I should. So, yeah.
02/15 - 323.8 - Well, I guess the potluck got to me. I did overeat. I have no idea the total ingredients. I thought I did okay. Also with TOM no idea where my weight will finally end up being. My official weigh-in is coming up. If it is a gain, it's a gain. I'm not thrilled with the idea, but I'm getting comfortable with being okay with it. It is a part of life and my choices. I had an emotional moment this morning and had more milk than the dietitian has allotted for me to have according to this worksheet. It's lunch time, and I am going to have a nice, savory salad with grilled chicken. Life will be just as okay with gains as with losses.
02/16 - 320.4 - WHOOOOSH! Well tomorrow is my official weigh-in. I wasn't expecting this loss. We'll see what tomorrow says. I ate well yesterday. I hit most of my protein goals. That is my weak spot in my diet is hitting my protein. I can get the others just fine. I need to find ways to incorporate more protein in. I also did two episodes of Zombies, Run which was fantastic! I wasn't feeling beat down by the end of each episode, but pretty good. I'm getting stronger each day. I might try to do two again today and some strength training.
02/17 - 319.6 - Yay! I mostly stuck to the dietitian's guidelines yesterday. I had more dairy than is on the sheet. I'm doing better with finding protein choice; so that was higher yesterday. I did two episodes of Zombies, Run! yesterday. It's definitely got my attention at this point in season; it's been interesting since the first episode but lately, just wow. I may end up doing a couple of them again today to find out what's going on next. I had to do them in my apartment as there was people in the community room; so my cat spazzed and started to dart about the apartment. It was cuter and hysterical at the same time.
02/18 - 317.4 - WHOOSH! I was still over on dairy yesterday, but for the first time I hit my protein goal. I should be able to repeat that again today. I did another episode of Zombies, Run! I got my water back in order. I have a couple of appointments this afternoon, one with my psychiatrist and one with my therapist. I need to clean on the apartment a bit. I feel good today.
02/19 - My therapist and I talked about the thing of numbers and my eating disorder yesterday. I am not giving up the scale completely; however, she does want me to give it up completely feeling that it is very triggering if it doesn't say what I want it to say. To her it just hasn't let me down big enough yet to cause an issue, yet. I have agreed to reduce how often I weigh. So, I will weigh for now, three times a week, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday. So, no weigh in today, will weigh in tomorrow.
Yesterday I did okay with food and had a little treat even and stayed within in my calories ( this will also change on being tracked, if possible). I did good with protein again, which I'm super happy about as it really is the weak spot in my nutrition.
*EDITED TO ADD* I just realized it IS Tuesday. It's too late in the day to get an accurate weight. I'll weigh-in tomorrow.

Just joining in!
Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 It’s 5:26 in the evening and I weigh myself in the AM so I’ll report on that one tomorrow, but I’ve decided to do this because I’ve been eating unhealthy while sitting on the couch recovering from foot surgery. We will see how it goes!
02/18: 154.4
I overate by 450 calories but I’m trying not to beat myself up too bad considering the amount of exercise/walking I can do is pretty much 0. I haven’t gained as much weight as I thought I had. My broken foot happened in Dec 2017 and my surgery wasn’t until Dec 2018 thanks to insurance so I feel like going from 129 to 154 is bad but not as bad as it could’ve been after being a virtual couch potato for a year and a literal one for two months. Yes I was walking on a broken foot for a year, people seem shocked by this but it’s true. Here’s to LESS overeating today!
02/19: 154.0
Ok so it’s probably just water weight but I’m going to take it as a win to keep me moving in the right direction. I only overate by 225 calories yesterday, so big improvement from the day before! Unfortunately both the weight loss and my lack of appetite may also be because I’m getting sick and I feel hella bad. All the same I’m going to try to do even better today and just drink lots of fluids and rest. Best wishes everyone!

02/15- 164.4 (water weight?)
02/16- 165.5 (yup! Water weight >.<) walked for about 20 minutes today, ate more greens. Had (a few) sweets.. Definitely needing to work on that sweet tooth!
02/17 - 164.4 (weight ping-pong. Whatevers, right? lol. Met my goal! That 30 minute weighted upper body video made me feel awesome and strong! Took the cheese off my veggie pizza (o.O) and added some herbs- tasted just as good imo! Thinking about green smoothies to get more greens in tomorrow. Headed to bed right now because less sleep increases CORTISOL aka your friendly stress hormone and makes it harder to loose weight, curb cravings, etc. Grateful for today.)
02/18- 164.2 (Met my goals today, worked out core with weights - expecting a little bump up tomorrow because that typically happens with me due to muscle inflammation via micro-tears with strength training. Ate well, and even took a nap. I didn't realize just how exhausted I was! I think it will help my body learn to fall asleep sooner if I scale back my bed-time by 10 minutes or so every day... anywhoo...here's to building better habits!)
02/19- 164.6 (Predicted that, so no worries. Even if I don't meet my 1 pound goal, I know I'm changing my body composition and I'm aiming for consistency! Sore in new places hehe. Today I'll try to finish all my eating before 530pm, that way my stomach can rest while the rest of me sleeps I discovered that I'm really loving this online- journaling. I feel it is helping with accountability. Thanks guys, you're the best... And to whoever reads this, I hope you find some inspiration in my journey as well!)

Basic Strength class 1x a week
Drink at least 64 oz of water a day
Walk 100,000 steps during the challenge
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 159, not a great start to Round 68. I think my salt intake over the past few days caught up with me. Today is another day so I am not going to be too discouraged. I ordered Plated for this week and the calories count are really high, especially for my height and intake. I made their Steak Quesadilla yesterday and the serving size was 960 calories. I cut my portion in half so calories were within the 1360 I could eat, but I was still very hungry. I order from meal subsciptions around once every month, but took January and December off because of the holidays, so this was the first time I have cooked with them on a diet.
45 minutes of exercise, 11,771 steps, 64 oz of water
02/13 158, good drop after eating well yesterday. It's raining heavily today so hoping to make it to gym after work. Officially no longer obese, just overweight so pretty happy to see 158. My next mini goal is 157.6 (15 lbs down) and hope to get there soon!
45 minutes of exercise, 7386 steps, 76 oz of water
02/14 158.5 up a bit, but ate really well yesterday so just will trust the process and see where the scale goes this round. It rained heavily yesterday and it looks like the rain will continue to Friday. I am hoping to get at least 5000 steps in so that I can make up the difference later in the round. Most of my steps involve walking outdoors and running errands, so the rain hinders that ability.
45 minutes of exercise, 10,168 steps, 64 oz of water
02/15 157.4, new low and 15.2 lbs lost. I know tomorrow I will be up a bit since it has been a back and forth round, but still proud of an overall downward trend.
45 minutes of exercise, 7348 steps, didn’t track but probably around 35 oz of water
02/16 158.2, expected this number with the way the round is going and it seems like splurge days or carb heavy days show up a couple of days after. I ate well yesterday, but didn’t get to my steps or water goals (drank a lot of diet soda and coffee). I will drink a lot of water today to compensate for yesterday
60 minutes of strength step class, 15,672 steps, 72 oz of water
02/17 157.8, I went out for sushi last night and think I ate ok. I had two spicy tuna rolls and a side salad, but that was my lunch and dinner. I still feel very thirsty so there must have been a lot of salt or I am just more thirsty around my period (which starts on Wednesday). I’m going to track my period on Fitbit this month and it will start giving trends after 2 cycles.
9823 steps, 64 oz of water, 60 minutes on arctrainer
02/18 157.4, getting closer to that 156.x number that was my goal. I feel like I am losing motivation this week (longest I have ever tracked or exercised regularly), so just focusing on staying positive and realizing that any loss is better than none.
35 minutes of exercise, 13,530 steps, 64 oz of water
02/19 157.4, feeling pretty optimistic about diet today and have a lot more energy since I slept well. I currently am a member of my local YMCA (close to my home) and Equinox (close to work and heavily discounted bc corporate). I love being a member of my local YMCA since so community focused/walking distance to home, but have been a bit frustrated with machine time maxed at 35 minutes during high frequency times-- 45 would be ideal. I have even gone various times from 5-8pm and it is packed. I feel selfish since I love that people are trying to get healthy, like me, but it isn't a great experience to see every machine taken and a 20 minute line in Jan/Feb for a 35 minute workout. Vent over haha! Will try YMCA today at 4pm see if that makes a difference.

ROUND 68 (Round 13 for me)
5’5” 67 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135 lb.
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-67 = 38.4 lb.
NSVs: Besides wearing smaller clothing and my wedding band fitting now, my blood pressure has been lower on my last couple of doctor visits and when I’ve checked it at home.
I like you folks, and I really appreciate and enjoy your company. Besides, I’m not sure I can stay on track without you!
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 137.2 I only ended with a .2 lb. loss last round, but I’m starting this round 2.2 lb. lower than my weight yesterday. My scale likes to torment with me. On a high note, I’ve been experimenting with not logging calories, just following keto guidelines, and I think I can do it. Starting out, I had to track everything, but I think I’ve got the hang of it now. I keep experimenting with keto recipes that appeal to both me and my husband. I just add pasta or rice or potatoes to his meals. I’m trying to reach my GW by the end of this month.
02/13 137.8 Not bad, considering yesterday was a 2 lb. drop and I was up early this morning. After lunch with the Red Hat ladies, I did one tax return, then took Thor on a 6-mile walk. One of our Red Hat ladies, Ruby, celebrated her 85th birthday last week. Ruby is trim and let us know she jogs, because walking is boring. Ruby’s my new role model!
02/14 137.6 Better than nothing. Today, my hip was sore all day. It hurt when I started walking yesterday (from arthritis in back, per my doctor), but I hadn’t experienced hip pain since September, so it took me by surprise. I won’t have time to walk again until Sunday, so I should be all better by then.
02/15 137.4 Slowly, but surely. Hopefully, I’ll get below my start weight before the end of the round, but probably not tomorrow. It will be an early day to leave for a couple of concerts 2 ½ hours away. It will probably be close to midnight before I get home tomorrow evening—long day ahead. Time for bed now! Hope everyone has a great weekend of fun and relaxation, but not overeating or over-drinking! 😊
02/16 DNW I got up and raced out early yesterday morning. Yesterday was a good day, but we didn’t get home until almost midnight.
02/17 137 I see it’s going back down. When I saw the number this morning, I couldn’t remember if it was good or bad. There’s too much going on to keep my head straight. Other than my pushups and sit-ups, I’m not exercising today.
02/18 136.6 I worked this morning and did my sister’s tax return. She took me to lunch, and I had my favorite green salad with grilled shrimp. I ate half for lunch and had the rest for dinner this evening. My husband and I spent at least 3 hours working in the yard this afternoon, so Thor didn’t get a walk. Our yard is an acre, so Thor ran around while we worked. He sniffed every blade of grass, ate a little of the organic fertilizer, chased a squirrel, and warned the cows to stay away from the fence. My husband and I will have sore backs tomorrow, but we accomplished a lot.
02/19 136.6 No gain is good. I ate a big breakfast this morning, because I didn’t know if today’s women’s club luncheon would have anything I could eat. Fortunately, one of my low-carb friends brought a delicious soup her husband made. She even gave me some to bring home for dinner. 😊 I just looked my weight “report” and took a screenshot I’ll share below. I had not pulled it up since I started, but the downward trend it pictures is encouraging. I’m very close to goal now.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/12: 204.7 Having one of those days that I want to eat a *lot*. Which means I’m not hungry but want to keep eating. But I’m fighting it and so far so good. Thankfully this doesn’t happen often.
02/13: 203.7 Back on track today. I’m 10 lbs down from my original start weight. Yay!
02/14: 203.7 Thank goodness cravings are gone. I’m happily skipping the candy this year. We had some at work and I was able to say no.
02/15: 203.0. Feeling good. Going to have some temptations tomorrow since we are going to visit relatives out of town. I’m just going to plan for a little extra calories and get right back to my healthy WOE the next day.
02/16: 203.4 Ate some peanut butter which I know always moves the scale up a bit.
02/17: 203.7 Visiting family and indulged a bit. Back to it today
02/18: 203.5 Eating better and tracking all food.
02/19: 203.0 I realized its not good for my WOE to have a cheat “day”. I can have 1 cheat item once a week, but having too much upsets my stomach. I like to plan on a cheat item on Saturdays but I don’t do it every Saturday. So far this is working for me.

02/12: 209.2 - My son’s 6th birthday, and my 1st day on maintenance while we have a guest. Stayed under goal despite dining out for lunch and birthday cake in the evening. 🍫
02/13: 209.6 - Leftover birthday cake blew my goal out of the water. Luckily it was a small cake, so it’s gone now. It was so rich; I think I’ll be good without dessert for a WHILE! 🍫🍫
02/14: 210.6 - Not surprising, given the past two days. I need to drink more water. Went out to lunch and had a large burger, but still stayed under goal; I was too full for dinner! 🍔
02/15: 210.4 - Spent the whole afternoon at the park, including a picnic lunch. Under goal. 🌳
02/16: 209.0 - Looks like I’ve recovered from the birthday celebrations! Maybe maintenance wasn’t necessary during this visit... my appetite seems to have adjusted. 🤷🏻♀️
02/17: 207.8 - New low! Previously 208.4 ⭐️
02/18: 207.2 - Yay! ⭐️
02/19: 207.6 - I debated switching back to my deficit this week but I know this week will involve Dim Sum, a new Cantonese place, and a theme park sooo.... I’m gonna stick to the plan. 🎯
02/20: 208.8 - Allergies hit HARD yesterday. Had an extra soda & some tea to soothe my sore throat but not enough water overall so I’m sure I’m retaining... 🤧

Wow that's beautiful! That is super impressive, I don't think I would ever have enough patience to do something like that9 -

02/15: 191 lb. Indulged in Starbucks this morning and then had far too much cheesy pasta for lunch. Not exactly a great start, but I intend to improve.
02/16: 188.9 lb This is closer to my normal 'current weight'. I'm assuming yesterday's number was due to retaining water weight from some bad food earlier this week. Also, the fiance and I waited until today to celebrate Valentine's day - I resisted overeating movie snacks and made us a healthy steak and salad dinner. Yay!
02/17: 187.2 lb - Did a massive deep clean of my apartment today; was cleaning most of the day, so it was a nice workout. Also food prepped for the coming week - nice to see all those little meal boxes in the fridge and not have to worry about what I'm doing for breakfast or lunch the rest of the week.
02/18: 187.2 lb - no change. Also had massive junk food cravings today and let myself get way too hungry before lunch, so I ended up scarfing some chips and m&ms. I'll have to be more careful about making sure to bring a healthy morning snack.
02/19: 187.6 lb - ended up paying for those salty snacks yesterday. We have a catered lunch at work tomorrow - I hope it's something relatively healthy.

02/12 - 201.2 (4296 steps) Monday was a halfway decent day. No exercise. It was pouring rain so I skipped the grocery store and went to Wendy’s for a "drive-by dinner". Grilled Chicken sandwich and apples slices. Small bit of LNS but I was in bed early. Still pouring rain today. Hope to have the energy to grocery shop and meal prep tonight after work. Ugh!
02/13 - 202.0 (7461 steps) 34 minutes on the bike (7.03 miles) Tuesday I made it to the grocery store (both of them) and did not have any gumption to do any meal prep. It was pushing 7pm by the time that I got home. I do plan to do some tonight. Usually, once I get going, it goes pretty smoothly. I am so ready for summer and warmer temps plus being able to walk outside. This weather just makes me want to hibernate and eat! Bad combination
02/14 - 201.4 (7072 steps) 39 minutes on the bike (8.04 miles) Wednesday I did do SOME meal prep. I did 2 meals with shrimp and couscous (those are for home b/c I don’t want to stink up the office) and 3 meals with steak, brussels sprouts, and blue cheese (2 for work and 1 for home). I still have 4 pork chops that need to be cooked and I might make some Knorr Rice Sides to pair with those. That should get me through the weekend.
02/15 - 199.4 (7069 steps) 27 minutes on the bike (5.73 miles) I had planned to do more but next thing I knew it was after 10pm. I survived the office potluck AND a surprise family dinner at Applebee’s. My goal is to attempt to see a ONE on tomorrow’s weigh-in too. I seem to see it only 1 day and then it’s gone. Small steps. My overall trend since 1/1/19 is going down. I’m happy to see that.
02/16 - 198.6 (7086 steps) Friday was a good day. Work meals were light so I was able to treat myself with Jimmy John’s. I skipped the bike and went to bed early.
02/17 - 198.7 (7553 steps) I rode 2 horses at the barn yesterday for about 1hr 15mins worth of exercise. My eating was okay until after dinner. I binged on cheese. OMG I love cheese! I was exhausted so I went to bed at 7:30. That probably saved me from really going off the deep end.
02/18 – 197.5 (2656 steps) Sunday was a VERY lazy day. My back was killing me so I spent most of the day on the couch. Luckily, I did not find myself snacking all day and stayed within my calories.
02/19 - 199.8 (2945 steps) No exercise. Monday my back was killing me so I stayed home. I was doing decent on my food until Grandma called and we ended up at the ER with her. 6 hours waiting there and then eating my stress did me in. I wasn’t over too bad but I was very inactive.
***Grandma is doing well. She is in much better spirits today. They actually got her out of bed and into a chair for a few hours. She has to spend one more night in the hospital and then moves to a rehab facility tomorrow. Might be 6wks there but we will all just take it one day at a time. Thank you everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers. They are very much appreciated.***
