When I eat hamburgers/sandwiches, i start from the outside and bite in spiraling circle pattern until it becomes a smaller and smaller circle and then just pop the smallest bite in my mouth.

I eat all the breading off chicken nuggets first and then eat the meat.

At Krystals, I remove the bottom bun and eat it alone, and then i fold the top bun and burger into a taco shell shape and place a few fries in there and eat it like that.

My bottle of Red Boat fish sauce that I ordered online arrived, so I did a fish sauce taste test. Tasting was done on plain rice. I expected to like Red Boat best based on this article.
    https://ourdailybrine.com/fish-sauce-taste-test/

However I actually prefer the two brands I physically purchased on Phu Quoc island while on vacation. They were Hung Thanh (previous trip) and Hong Duc (this trip). I understand the appeal of Red Boat, being very mellow with no fishiness. I prefer my fish sauce to be a little more funky. The fourth bottle I have in the house is Tiparos (from Thailand, not Phu Quoc) which is apparently the best of the cheap brands. Still mellow but fisher than the other three brands.

Red Boat and Hung Thanh only contain anchovies and salt. Hong Duc also contains a flavour enhancer E627. Tiparos contains water, anchovies, salt and sugar.

I have tried many and Red Boat is well worth the cost for me when simply adding to meals.
For marinating, I dont want to use the good stuff so I use the Squid brand.

I threw out my bottle of Squid brand after trying Tiparos. Also cheap and widely available. Squid is too funky for me.

I like peanut butter and tomato sandeiches!!! So hear me out!
Toast the bread, so the peanut butter melts! Add lots of pepper and then tomato slices. It's amazeballs! Same with peanut butter and onion on toasted bread...omg yes. Thank satay 😉

Since I really like the pungent smell and strong taste of fish sauce, I tried your idea of adding a splash to popcorn. I have to say, THANK YOU for this. Absolutely love it. And you are right, the popcorn does not go soggy at all but the taste and flavour, wow :)

Glad you like it. I was surprised myself as I originally thought it might be overpowering but I really liked the combination. I suspect it is key to use a high quality fish sauce such as Red Boat which is relatively mellow (smells of the sea, not the harbour).

Has anyone else contemplated turning coffee mate into "milk" cause youve got a cereal hankering but out of the real stuff?

Agreed I add a little sugar free caramel flavoring. Make almost a carnel frappe yogurt!

I just picked up a commercial Thai chilli sauce for seafood (Maesri brand). It makes raw vegetable sticks taste amazing. Pretty fiery though. Twenty kcal per tablespoon, according to the database.

This is what the bottle looks like.

I've seen a few posts about this and I agree that dipping fries into the milkshake is the best ever.

We are apparently hardwired to like foods where half the calories come from fat and the other half from sugar, because that is the composition of breast milk.

    I like your thoughts!

Love french fries and onion rings but to save some calories i'll order my sandwich with a side of extra red onion, then eat the occasional fry with a piece of red onion for an onion ring feel

I didn't read the rest but I LOVE to eat with my fingers. Cutlery sucks. If I had to pick chopsticks wins and I'm Ozzie with European heritage. lol.

I like to eat hardboiled eggs dipped in yellow mustard.

My dad grew up during the Depression and mustard was cheap and that was often the only condiment they would have. So he liked eating pancakes with mustard on them. I was never willing to try it but my sisters would eat them and they said it was actually good!

I knew someone who ate kiwis with the skin on, like it was a peach.

Me too! It is so much tastier that way. Gives a little extra texture.

Maple Long John Donut with crushed up Doritos on top!

    This was a pregnancy craving!...
I don't care for donuts much and I'm not a Dorito person but,

    OMG it was SO good!

This is, by far, my favorite thread.

When I have grilled cheese and tomato soup, I put the sandwich into my bowl and pour my soup over it. I eat everything with my spoon then. Maybe not weird, but I've gotten a few funny looks for doing it this way instead of dipping the sandwich into the soup.

When eating a sub or sandwich, I have to put potato chips on it.
