Weird things you do with food

I am the opposite to a couple of people on here and I ALWAYS eat the crust first on a pizza. Also the crusts first on sandwiches like someone else. In general, I will always eat the least appetising thing first and work through to tastiest, and I get really conflicted when I can't decide which is the most delicious.15

I..... Peel and Eat.... Whole Eggs
Since when is that weird?
If I have a cupcake or muffin, I usually eat the paper it's baked in.
I add salt to coffee.
(Sweet + salty anything is pretty much the best combo ever, and in no way weird.
Croissants and waffles or pancakes dipped in coffee is delicious)3 -

I wont eat salad if there is a lettuce spinach or kale base, because I found a bug in my salad once, but have no problem eating a salad if the base is cabbage.
Also I used to use 1 table spoon of ranch and 1 tablespoon of Italian dressing when I did eat salads, everyone thought that was strange.
Once, I made cabbage soup and there was a caterpillar in my bowl. I sat staring at the little cooked caterpillar on my spoon for a minute or so deciding what to do... finally, I recalled an episode of some show about various cultures eating bugs and ate it, figuring extra protein and didn't want the litte caterpillar to have died for nothing.. lol26 -

The only way I'll eat ketchup is if I put a ton of pepper in it. And I mean flip the "pour" tab not the "sprinkle" tab. At restaurants I'll take the entire lid off the shaker. My boyfriend thought it was weird until he tried it. Now he does it too.
At Chinese buffets, you know those doughnut type rolls with sugar on them? I take those and drench them in soy sauce. Oh my gosh it is so good.
I also like to get fries from McDonald's or Sonic or something and cut them up and mix them in with my ice-cream.
I have a few more but I'll spare you.
I love the whole French fry dipped into the milkshake thing. It's soo yummy. Havent done it in a while tho.2 -

M&Ms- I will bite the shell off first while its in my mouth then eat the chocolate. I'm sure there is more weirdness about me, I just can't think of it at the moment.
Haha. I do the same thing.also with nuttybutty bars and Swiss rolls. I also like dipping pizza into ranch dressing.1 -
I have a vivid childhood memory of my mother dry heaving when I mixed the mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken, and peas together on my plate once.6

I always do this. I didn't used to eat chicken, but as a kid my mom would make mashed potatoes and peas as sides a lot because they are my sister and mine's favorite and we would mix them together. If I have mashed potatoes, a protein, a vegetable, and gravy on my plate, you bet they are getting mixed together. Kind of like a famous bowl from KFC.7 -
Peanut butter and melted cheese toasted sandwiches1

Lately hummus and beetroot relish together on toast4

I wasn't saying my food mixing (and yours) was weird. But my mother's visceral reaction sure was!1 -

Someone above was talking about mixing their food together. I do this too. When I was little I remember my dad trying to teach me to load a variety of food from my plate onto each forkful so that you get a combination of flavours in each mouthful. My way is less elegant but gets to the same place.
When I get the chance, I cut everything up that I'm about to eat and dump this hot food on top of a big bowl of mixed greens and stir. Yum.

I knew someone who ate kiwis with the skin on, like it was a peach.

My own food weirdness:
Wendy's fries dipped in chocolate frosty
Eating m&ms in a certain order by colour
peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches
grape jelly on scrambled egg
I also have a lot of food aversions for weird reasons but that's a different subject0 -

Peanut butter, banana and bacon does sound yummy!0 -
I used to put ketchup on my eggs, but then I grew a major dislike toward ketchup and now I put maple syrup on my eggs instead.6

I do this if I give them a haircut first... (seriously. I scrape the fuzz off with a peeler )
The guy I knew just ate them fuzz and all. I suppose it's good fiber?1 -
I have a pizza about 4 times a week with broccoli and jalapenos on it. I use Mama Mary's pizza crust, add pizza sauce, 3 oz of chopped broccoli and 1 TBS of minced jalapenos then add cheese. YUM!
I love burnt peanut butter cookies dipped in a cup of hot tea.3 -
my daily breakfast is possibly a bit weird - bacon and fresh dates - paradise!!5
-
Tuna and hot sauce for breakfast.
Baked pineapple with sardines and olives.
Steak tartar: marinated raw steak with an uncooked egg yolk.
Onion rings, but I suck out the onion and leave the breading behind.3 -
Haaha this thread is timely. I've knocked off an entire bottle of Frank's Red Hot in the last week, just by pouring it into a spoon and drinking it. I drink it when I want flavour, when I'm craving sweet stuff, salty stuff, savoury stuff... I just really like it.7

Not sure if this is weird or not, but I mix PB2 with cashew milk and eat it like pudding.

I used to love scrambled eggs on toast with maple syrup.
And as a kid I'd eat brownies with a slice of american cheese on top2
