I wont eat salad if there is a lettuce spinach or kale base, because I found a bug in my salad once, but have no problem eating a salad if the base is cabbage.
Also I used to use 1 table spoon of ranch and 1 tablespoon of Italian dressing when I did eat salads, everyone thought that was strange.
Once, I made cabbage soup and there was a caterpillar in my bowl. I sat staring at the little cooked caterpillar on my spoon for a minute or so deciding what to do... finally, I recalled an episode of some show about various cultures eating bugs and ate it, figuring extra protein and didn't want the litte caterpillar to have died for nothing.. lol
But did you log it?12 -
If I'm eating a plate of different things, I save a bit of EACH thing for the LAST bite. So in a stir fry, the last bite will have a bit of EACH vegetable, etc. It gets weird with breakfast, when you leave a BIT of bacon, eggs, avocados, etc.4

I have to eat one side in it's entirety before moving on to the other stuff. I usually eat all of whatever is my least favorite, then eat the rest like a normal person3
-
I eat right out of the can. beefaroni, Scooby doos. oh well.who needs to heat that up? not me!3
-
I eat ketchup on my tacos.1

I used to do this when I was a kid. Then we got a microwave.2 -
-- Probably the worst thing ever for you, but putting EZ Cheese on oreos tastes like cheesecake. I haven't done this in years.
-- I used to eat BBQ sauce on white rice as a kid.
-- A coworker recently showed me that baby carrots dipped in peach yogurt isn't half bad.
-- I make "nachos" out of tortilla chips and all sorts of stuff in the fridge when I want something crunchy/cheesy/salty. I've had salami and mozzarella, pot roast and cheddar and gravy, chicken and spicy relish, etc...
-- As a kid, my dad taught me about flour tortillas rolled up with butter and sugar. I've expanded to sometimes adding cinnamon, too. Also haven't done this in years!
-- I love mixing BBQ anything with mac n cheese. This one is less weird.
-- I eat Swiss Rolls by peeling off the chocolate layer first and unrolling it, eating away the cake and exposing the filling.
-- Also not too weird is mixing ketchup and mayo for fry dip. Yum.
-- I can't have a dip for my hot wings. I just want hothotHOT wings, no bleu cheese (gross), no ranch, no nothin'.
-- Eating cake/cookies/brownies requires water, NOT milk.2 -

Yes!! Caesar salad once it's sat in the refrigerator over night is good!!
I make my salads in the morning just so it gets a little soggy lol0 -

M&Ms- I will bite the shell off first while its in my mouth then eat the chocolate. I'm sure there is more weirdness about me, I just can't think of it at the moment.
I do that with Pizza & used to do that with burgers (when I could eat red meat).0 -

Try it with butter and honey. It's sinfully good!2 -

Well, huh. I'd be willing to give that a shot.2 -
When I was a teenager I used to put ketchup, mustard, & mayonnaise on popcorn. I wouldn't put them on all at the same time though.0

Salsa on eggs
Vegemite, lettuce and mayonnaise sandwiches
Orange juice on my cereal instead of milk
This is how I was brought up to eat pancakes/crepes, and a common topping at creperies..it's delicious!
I love it and never thought it was weird until I went to the USA and everyone freaked out!
Haha.... Perhaps they are the weird ones
My European friends freaked out at Fairy Bread. They couldn't understand the amazingness of 100s & 1000s on buttered white bread!
Isn't that basically hagelslag?0 -
Odd stuff I nosh on:
Hot dogs and mayo
Ranch and fries
Chicken nuggets and honey
Uncooked ramen noodles
Fries in frosty
Turkey/chicken giblets (gizzards are like meaty gummi bears to me),0 -
Oh sometimes I like a grilled pb sandwich5

The thing I get picked on the most for is I like to eat one thing on my plate at a time, starting with my least favorite item or the item that needs to be eaten first because it doesn't taste as good if it sits around, like tacos. Tacos that sit for too long get soggy and then the shell falls apart when you try to eat it and I don't like eating my tacos with a fork. I'd rather pick them up with my hands. I could write a book on which food to eat first and why but I don't have to because it comes to me automatically. It's only when people question me about why I chose what I did next that I think about it.
I think anything goes for food combinations or which foods to eat for which meals. I don't know why it bothers other people if someone wants to have leftover seafood for breakfast or whatever. As long as you're not eating it, what does it matter what someone else likes? Live and let live.5 -

Grilled PBJ here. Just every once in a while. And since I saw it in Bon Appetit, I spread mayonnaise on the outside of the bread instead of butter for that and grilled cheese.
My Dad's favorites were fried bologna sandwiches and fish cakes. Once in a while I get a hankering for those.
And I'm a mixer. My favorite childhood meal was hamburger, gravy, corn, and mashed potatoes all mixed together. Still love it!1 -
Put bologna and ketchup on my grilled cheese and ketchup in mac and cheese

French fries dipped in tartar sauce.2

Somebody mentioned peanut butter and melted cheese sandwiches? My daughter used to do that and it grossed me out! But when *I* was a kid, I'd eat cold leftover spaghetti, salad, and French dressing sandwiches. Grossed my mom out. Guess fair's fair! I would also mix my pintos, mac and cheese, and corn up on the plate and eat it. Very unappealing to look at, but tasted just fine.
Sometimes I sprinkle chili powder on my french toast before I add syrup. I did it by accident once, "hello, there, not-cinnamon!" and decided I liked it. I, too, take my wafer cookies apart layer by layer. It lasts longer that way.1 -
I never use syrup on my pancakes or waffles. I like putting bbq sauce on hot dogs. I dip hard pretzels into bbq sauce. I like to eat oreos or chocolate chip cookies with orange juice, not dipping, just as an addition. I prefer nearly burned and then made cold chocolate chip cookies to normally baked ones. I drink milk when I have pizza or spaghetti.
I am sure there are more but those are what I remembered off the top of my noodle.1 -
When I make cheese dip in the crockpot, I scrape the burned cheese of the sides and eat it1
-
My son dips chocolate chip cookies in sour cream0
-
I eat green grapes and green olives together.1
-
My sisters all can't stand having their food touch. I say any plate is big enough; just stack. Peas and Jello and gravy all running together? Yum!0
-
I used to always have a glass of milk when I ate spaghetti
Frank's hot sauce and white vinegar on plain popped corn
Frozen girl guide cookies0 -
A Fried egg on top of my 1/2 cup of cottage cheese....0
-
I eat salad with my hands. I hate dressing so it's a little less gross.1
-
PB2 on steak. As a kid i used to dip pizza crust in soda. My favorite bizarre wrap as of late is a la tortilla factory low carb wrap with PB2, sugar free grape jelly, fresh mint, apple, smoked turkey and a few cashews0
