03/04. 191.6. Up from yesterday, but had a great family, not over the top calories-wise, with wine. Should be lower in next few days. Hoping, hoping to be consistently in the 180’s this time. Very motivated to see numbers I haven’t seen in many years.
03/05. 190.4. Weekend gain nearly gone. Tried some a bit too tight pants on yesterday, and they are now loose.

03/10. 190.0. We had a great meal at friends’house. All good food, African curries, rice, and a beautiful salad, and a brandy pudding with whipped cream. All delicious, spiced perfectly! Today, I admit, no regrets about the high calorie count.

@SheilaBoneham It's a good idea. I drive between KC an St. Louis 2 or 3 times a month and it is SO hard not to snack on the road. I can't write it down when driving but even if I think of it in those terms it has to help right?6

@shunggie Right! And if you can not carry snacks within reach, you'd have to stop to get them, and if you stop, you can take 5 min. to write it down, so there ya go!3 -

@shunggie Carry fruit with you! But I know it's easier said than done. I went for years eating virtually no added sugar, no junk food, and then I went crazy last fall after being on a very restrictive elimination diet. I think the extreme "can't have it" approach made me want EVERYTHING when I finished. But I've gained back the 15 pounds I lost over the past year - no good. Let's try this together!6 -
I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Mar 5 - 176.2 - I’m not sure what is going on with all of these fluctuations. Maybe I need to change batteries in my scale.

03/04—211.8—Had a hungry day yesterday, but also an exercise-filled day. My head is fine (I smacked it hard yesterday on the tailgate of my car). This is gonna be a good week.
03/05—211.4—Another rather hungry day, though I was able to keep my calories in a good place. I hate the cold, but I took a nice long walk yesterday while it was in the thirties. I felt fairly invigorated, but I probably won't do that again today.
03/06—212.8—Not a concerning bump for several reasons. 1. Bumps happen; 2. I had a Frosty yesterday; 3. This was an early weigh-in; 4. My digestive system is positively wonky! Still having a good week, though I'm terribly sleepy this moment as I sit at my desk and attempt to write regulatory comments!
03/07—212.6—Tummy troubles continue to plague me and work continues to be very busy. But things are otherwise looking very spiffy! We're in the middle of planning a trip to Ireland in late May that's going to be fabulous.
03/08—211.2—New lows are always nice.
03/09—210.8—Another new low. I'm surprised by this one because we went to the movies last night and I had popcorn. I've had a pretty low-exercise week, though that's about to end since I'm going to do some significant working out in a few minutes.
03/10—212.4—Very sore muscles this morning! One of the exercises I was doing yesterday is either NOT FOR ME or I was doing it wrong because it hurt. Yow. And now I'm stiff and sore, which is less ideal than it sounds!
03/11—211.8—Not a good eating weekend, so I'm pleased this number is what it is! Still sore, but better today.
03/12—211.6—Other than a minor incident involving super hot cinnamon gummi bears, it was a good day!
03/13—210—I like it! 1.6 pounds down in the round (inadvertent rhyme is fun)! I'm feeling good about my trajectory, especially considering I was considering lowering my calorie goal but chose to be a little more diligent about getting within the higher goal instead.

3/4: — 200.0 — I’ve been hovering at this weight for a bit, wanting to get under 200. I can tell I’ve lost even though the scale doesn’t show it. So I took measurements today and I have lost INCHES!! I’m really excited about that. So glad I took measurements earlier.
3/5: — 199.0 — YAY! I broke out of the 200’s
3/6: — 198.3 — YAY! Stayed under calorie goal. Been eating healthy.
3/7: — 197.9 — YAY! Going the right direction.
3/8: — 197.0 — And now the weekend is here. This is the worst time for temptation.
3/9: — 197.1 — Trying to stay on plan. Struggling a little.
3/10: — 197.1 — Planning 1 cheat item this weekend. Will see how that effects my weight.
3/11: — 197.0 — I had 2 “cheat” items this weekend. I was very careful not to make it an all day thing and I handled it pretty well. Weight is steady. I hope I didn’t cause a stall though. Time will tell.
3/12: — 196.6 — I’ve been eating more vegetables this week. I keep thinking my weight will bounce back up. But the overall trend is down so I’m pretty happy.
3/13: — 195.5 — Down 4.5 lbs this time. I guess this is what they call a “Whoosh”. The 2 things I’ve done differently is add more green vegetables and delay breakfast to 9 am instead of 6 am. I was eating at 6 am even though I wasn’t hungry. So now I wait which gives me 14 hours between dinner and breakfast. I didn’t really believe in intermittent fasting, but now I wonder. And for sure if I am hungry at 6 am I will be eating at 6 am. And of course my weight could jump back up tomorrow. I’ve seen that many times. But my body feels different and my clothes fit better. This is such a good motivator to keep going.13 -

03/05 155.5, today is Mardi Gras and I am giving up chips and cereal for lent (my two snacking vices so might indulge a bit in both of those). Tomorrow, I am going to do two small meals and will be meat free on Fridays.

03/06 155.5, I’ll take being the same weight since the weather has been terrible here with rain and high winds. I love walking for errands so it’s been challenging getting steps in with the weather. 03/04- 354.8 I’m seriously surprised by this loss. I stayed on track yesterday, but had a horrible night and was up fairly late and am aching this morning. My mother in law got lost, ran out of gas,and we had to try to help her from 10 hours away. Thanks to the New Mexico State police we got someone out there to help her. On top of that my brother was rushed to emergency surgery for an abscess and sepsis. Today’s goal is to not over eat from stress and being tired.
03/05- 354.2 My brother is doing well and should be out of the hospital tomorrow. After posting yesterday I realized my kitchen pipe was frozen, we got it thawed without any additional problems. My mother in law is still on the road, but is now deciding to stop at night rather than risk going into ditches or running out of gas. Thanks again to my supportive spouse I didn’t binge eat yesterday. Partially because he did! That’s right he stress ate a few baked goods I had set aside so that I wouldn’t.
03/06- 355.2 It took a good long look at yesterday’s diary to figure this one out. I think it’s from my pancakes and muffin dinner with a bit of sodium weight tossed in. It’s okay I know that it’s water and will be gone in a day or two.
03/07- 355 I had hoped for more, but I know I’ll see a bigger drop soon. I just need to get my water back under control.
03/08- 354.8 Still not back down, but I looked at last month and I did the same thing. My goal today will be to get through today without stress eating. The settling in process with my mother in law is being very rough.
03/09- 354.2 And back to where I was a few days ago. I was more mindful of my water and sodium. I’ve been lacking in motivation to get in exercise and I haven’t been walking like I wanted so hopefully those two things are on tap today. My nsv from yesterday was taking an honest look at my excuses for my lack of movement and find ways to remove them. Today my only excuse will be simply because I didn’t and nothing else.
03/10- 354.8 I had way too much sodium last night and over ate a smidge. I know it’s all a water gain and I did it to myself. I need to get my head back in this though. I barely got my step target in and I didn’t exercise. Back on track with movement and no more excuses.
03/11- 353.8 There we go. I stayed on track with water and low on sodium. My nsv was getting back on track with movement too.
03/12- 352.8 Well that number was unexpected, I’m guessing that I had more water weight than I thought. I have a chest cold and I took it easier yesterday, so I guess I was wrong about not having a real excuse not to exercise. But I stayed on point with my eating, sodium, and water.
03/13- 352.8 I’m not surprised after two days of high drops. I’m still fighting my cold, but I feel a little better this morning. Hopefully I’ll get in some more movement today.

03/04--213.1 Went out for breakfast at my favorite place. Didn't drink much water the whole weekend...have to work on that today. Run day today.
03/05--212.9 There was some stress snacking yesterday evening, but I did get out yesterday and finish w6d2 and the run was great. Today is weight training. Working on getting in water today.
03/06--211.2 Had a great training session yesterday as it was the first time I was able to get through all 3 rounds of all of the exercises within my 1 hour training session. The first time I did the exercise routine about 3 weeks ago I wasn't even able to finish 2 rounds. Yoga tonight.
03/07--211.8 Yoga yesterday was great, but I'm tired this morning after being awoken by my sick dog throughout the night. Hubby is bringing dog to vet today. Weight training tonight, but considering how tired I am not sure how motivated I will be.
03/08--212.3 Even though I was tired yesterday I had one of my best workouts with my trainer last night, I increased weight on my lifts and time on my planks. The dog is feeling much better today, but what is even better is that over the past year after my vet told me my dog needed to lose about 10lbs, my dog has lost 12lbs. It's funny, her weight loss came from proper measuring of her food, reducing her snacks, and increasing her activity...exactly what I'm doing. Run day today.
03/09--213.6 I feel bloated today. I had eaten most of daily calories by 1pm yesterday and continued my normal eating for the rest of the day. However, I still finished W6D3 yesterday and I've already gone to the gym this morning and did my weighlifting workout. Rest of day is to run some errands and relax.
03/10--213.1 Feeling heavy today. I found this new snack that I thought fit into my current food sensitivity diet, but I snacked on too many of them and I think there is also something in them that is bothering my system. I gave my husband the rest of the snacks for him to bring to work. I was planning on doing a run today, but my legs are feeling heavy so I think today will be my rest day and I will go for a run tomorrow and I will probably just go for a gentle walk with the dog later today. Going to the movies today and planning on having popcorn.
03/11--212.5 Finished W7D1 today. Went out for lunch today.
03/12--213.6 Not surprised after going out for lunch yesterday and hardly drinking any water all day. I'm sure it also didn't help that I had a bad night of sleeping last night as well. Weightlifting today.
03/13--213.1 Had a great training session yesterday and I am definitely getting stronger. Yoga tonight.
