3/4: β 200.0 β Iβve been hovering at this weight for a bit, wanting to get under 200. I can tell Iβve lost even though the scale doesnβt show it. So I took measurements today and I have lost INCHES!! Iβm really excited about that. So glad I took measurements earlier.
3/5: β 199.0 β YAY! I broke out of the 200βs
3/6: β 198.3 β YAY! Stayed under calorie goal. Been eating healthy.
3/7: β 197.9 β YAY! Going the right direction.
3/8: β 197.0 β And now the weekend is here. This is the worst time for temptation.

3/11: β 197.0 β I had 2 βcheatβ items this weekend. I was very careful not to make it an all day thing and I handled it pretty well. Weight is steady. I hope I didnβt cause a stall though. Time will tell.
3/12: β 196.6 β Iβve been eating more vegetables this week. I keep thinking my weight will bounce back up. But the overall trend is down so Iβm pretty happy.
3/13: β 195.5 β Down 4.5 lbs this time. I guess this is what they call a βWhooshβ. The 2 things Iβve done differently is add more green vegetables and delay breakfast to 9 am instead of 6 am. I was eating at 6 am even though I wasnβt hungry. So now I wait which gives me 14 hours between dinner and breakfast. I didnβt really believe in intermittent fasting, but now I wonder. And for sure if I am hungry at 6 am I will be eating at 6 am. And of course my weight could jump back up tomorrow. Iβve seen that many times. But my body feels different and my clothes fit better. This is such a good motivator to keep going.13 -

03/05 155.5, today is Mardi Gras and I am giving up chips and cereal for lent (my two snacking vices so might indulge a bit in both of those). Tomorrow, I am going to do two small meals and will be meat free on Fridays.

03/04- 354.8 Iβm seriously surprised by this loss. I stayed on track yesterday, but had a horrible night and was up fairly late and am aching this morning. My mother in law got lost, ran out of gas,and we had to try to help her from 10 hours away. Thanks to the New Mexico State police we got someone out there to help her. On top of that my brother was rushed to emergency surgery for an abscess and sepsis. Todayβs goal is to not over eat from stress and being tired.
03/05- 354.2 My brother is doing well and should be out of the hospital tomorrow. After posting yesterday I realized my kitchen pipe was frozen, we got it thawed without any additional problems. My mother in law is still on the road, but is now deciding to stop at night rather than risk going into ditches or running out of gas. Thanks again to my supportive spouse I didnβt binge eat yesterday. Partially because he did! Thatβs right he stress ate a few baked goods I had set aside so that I wouldnβt.
03/06- 355.2 It took a good long look at yesterdayβs diary to figure this one out. I think itβs from my pancakes and muffin dinner with a bit of sodium weight tossed in. Itβs okay I know that itβs water and will be gone in a day or two.
03/07- 355 I had hoped for more, but I know Iβll see a bigger drop soon. I just need to get my water back under control.
03/08- 354.8 Still not back down, but I looked at last month and I did the same thing. My goal today will be to get through today without stress eating. The settling in process with my mother in law is being very rough.
03/09- 354.2 And back to where I was a few days ago. I was more mindful of my water and sodium. Iβve been lacking in motivation to get in exercise and I havenβt been walking like I wanted so hopefully those two things are on tap today. My nsv from yesterday was taking an honest look at my excuses for my lack of movement and find ways to remove them. Today my only excuse will be simply because I didnβt and nothing else.
03/10- 354.8 I had way too much sodium last night and over ate a smidge. I know itβs all a water gain and I did it to myself. I need to get my head back in this though. I barely got my step target in and I didnβt exercise. Back on track with movement and no more excuses.
03/11- 353.8 There we go. I stayed on track with water and low on sodium. My nsv was getting back on track with movement too.
03/12- 352.8 Well that number was unexpected, Iβm guessing that I had more water weight than I thought. I have a chest cold and I took it easier yesterday, so I guess I was wrong about not having a real excuse not to exercise. But I stayed on point with my eating, sodium, and water.
03/13- 352.8 Iβm not surprised after two days of high drops. Iβm still fighting my cold, but I feel a little better this morning. Hopefully Iβll get in some more movement today.

03/04--213.1 Went out for breakfast at my favorite place. Didn't drink much water the whole weekend...have to work on that today. Run day today.
03/05--212.9 There was some stress snacking yesterday evening, but I did get out yesterday and finish w6d2 and the run was great. Today is weight training. Working on getting in water today.
03/06--211.2 Had a great training session yesterday as it was the first time I was able to get through all 3 rounds of all of the exercises within my 1 hour training session. The first time I did the exercise routine about 3 weeks ago I wasn't even able to finish 2 rounds. Yoga tonight.
03/07--211.8 Yoga yesterday was great, but I'm tired this morning after being awoken by my sick dog throughout the night. Hubby is bringing dog to vet today. Weight training tonight, but considering how tired I am not sure how motivated I will be.
03/08--212.3 Even though I was tired yesterday I had one of my best workouts with my trainer last night, I increased weight on my lifts and time on my planks. The dog is feeling much better today, but what is even better is that over the past year after my vet told me my dog needed to lose about 10lbs, my dog has lost 12lbs. It's funny, her weight loss came from proper measuring of her food, reducing her snacks, and increasing her activity...exactly what I'm doing. Run day today.
03/09--213.6 I feel bloated today. I had eaten most of daily calories by 1pm yesterday and continued my normal eating for the rest of the day. However, I still finished W6D3 yesterday and I've already gone to the gym this morning and did my weighlifting workout. Rest of day is to run some errands and relax.
03/10--213.1 Feeling heavy today. I found this new snack that I thought fit into my current food sensitivity diet, but I snacked on too many of them and I think there is also something in them that is bothering my system. I gave my husband the rest of the snacks for him to bring to work. I was planning on doing a run today, but my legs are feeling heavy so I think today will be my rest day and I will go for a run tomorrow and I will probably just go for a gentle walk with the dog later today. Going to the movies today and planning on having popcorn.
03/11--212.5 Finished W7D1 today. Went out for lunch today.
03/12--213.6 Not surprised after going out for lunch yesterday and hardly drinking any water all day. I'm sure it also didn't help that I had a bad night of sleeping last night as well. Weightlifting today.

03/04 99.5 sorry.... What?!?! How?!?! So i don't run for 4 days and all my hard work reverses itself....?! Come on! Feeling very disheartened but my graduation is in 32 days so I need to focus 10000000000%! Have a feeling the weight gain is water in preparation for TOM but it still makes you doubt what you're doing and why you are bothering! Head up and just keep swimming!
03/05 97.5 now that's what i call a whoosh! trying to steel myself for today⦠mix of my dad's 79th birthday (unfortunately he passed away 2 years ago) and pancake Tuesday blended with fettisdagen! Fettisdagen is the Swedish equivalent of pancake Tuesday but instead of pancakes they have the yummyist cream filled sweet buns called a semla! So I've gone for a run this morning and I plan on keeping calories down so I can have one this evening! So I have an emotion filled day with food that would be awful for an emotional eater.... Really need to keep my headspace right today!
03/06 98.0 okay, These fluctuations are driving me insane! Possibly the pancakes in there too so it'll go! I was good yesterday, only a small stack of homemade American style pancakes and one homemade semla.

03/08 97.8 too early to celebrate! My weight has been bouncing all over the place the last 2 weeks. But I was incredibly disciplined yesterday, food and exercise exactly as planned so hopefully this is the result of that discipline.
03/09 98.0 argh.... Knew it wouldn't stick! Had my implant out yesterday and my arm is swollen and soooo sore.. bit of luck the weight gain possibly caused by the implant will go away now! Fingers crossed!

03/13 97.3 are ready well yesterday, ran in the morning, Zumba in the evening. But I think this is from the bacon in the quiche I made. And not drinking enough water. The bacon I used was very salty so as long I get more water in today and wash it out I think I'm good! Here's to round 71!
I always gain the next day if I've had bacon or gammon even if I've been super within calorie, water and exercise macros !! I'm sure you will lose tomorrow if you cane that water!!! Good luck xx2 -

@tiabirdie56 Those electrolytes! I felt my right calf cramping before I went to bed so drank at least 1/2 cup of pickle juice. It seems to work but that might explain my lack of loss on this fast!

3/4-166-Birthday cake and ice cream for dinner with our widowed friend. (All of our kids are grown and gone.)I knew I was going to feel awful, so I had milk with protein powder and some peanut butter....Our friend is very trim and fit and I never see her eat crap like that, but yesterday was her exception, and we happily joined in. I got her flowers (because I see how healthy she eats)and her sister in law brought her a cake and ice cream and I realized what a wonderful gesture that was because I realized nobody else provided her with a cake and she is a mom. I realized then, that βevery mom deserves a cakeβ.
3/5-162-That is a swoosh I had been expecting. I ate sensibly yesterday and got to walk in the morning and evening.
3/6-165-Salty soup and salad dressing. More rain, so I have to get out walking soon.
3/7-162-I got down to this last round. That is 25 pounds since I started in September. I just want to encourage anyone who is struggling: Please donβt give up! It all takes time, just as we did not gain our weight over night, we canβt lose it all over night. I love looking back at how much everyone else weighed & lost and it gives me hope to keep going.

3/12-167 I dropped everything I was doing and drove 4 hours on Thursday, to help my uncle with my aunt. She was my momβs sister and I wanted to be by her side as she passed away. I am glad I was able to be there....however, there was plenty of food and a lot of sitting. Iβm back home and will get back on track today.

3/4 130.0 Ate El Pollo Loco 2 piece dinner (chicken, broccoli, Loco salad with dressing, no tortillas,) 2 oz dry roasted peanuts, a handful of Macβs Pork Cracklins. Water, coffee, diet soda. Below my pre-cruise weight!

@quiltingjaine, Most likely it's the pickle juice. On Day 3 of my fat fast, I drank electrolytes late in the evening. On Day 4, I was retaining fluid. Day 5, dropped the fluid. I try to remember to drink my electrolytes right after my meals. Same thing with this new IF protocol I'm doing. Twice I've had electrolytes late and retained fluid the next day. π£2

03/13 β¦.. 186.6β¦.. This is just the small gain that is typical after integrating foods back in after an egg fast. My total down for the round is 2.6 pounds. I have only hit my goal of 2 pounds lost (for the round) just one time since Round 52 (Sept 5 β Sept 14) so I am incredibly proud. Fall & Winter have been tough on me. The snow here is STILL immensely high but the temps are warming a bit here in Northern Michigan. I am seeing some birds today that I havenβt seen since last year. If only the sun would come out! I had dinner out for βtaco Tuesdayβ yesterday with my brother at the local saloon. Mexican is usually pretty good as far as carbs go but I did eat the soft shells. I am so D**NED PROUD that one meal did not turn into permission for me to eat whatever I wanted for the rest of the day. I stuck to my guns, otherwise, all day & night. Exercised extra (in a fasted state) to offset the dinner. I am still trending downward today in my weight numbers. Iβm feeling good. Today I will try to begin a 12:12 IF instead of my 16:8 or better. I am going for a metabolism reset over the next few weeks with the help of @tiabirdie56 & her research. Thanks also to @quiltingjaine for helpful info. Yesterdayβs stats: 957 Calories In / 3107 Calories Out. 37 Net Carbs. 21,564 Total Steps & 9.12 Total Miles. IF 20:4 while waiting to leave for that taco dinner out. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 9 minutes. I did not drink enough water or fluids. I used Elliptical for 40 minutes, Walked for 1 hours & 21 minutes and Danced for 1 hour & 3 minutes. Sample song was βHer Strutβ by Bob Seger. Total burn for the 3 exercise methods was 1160 calories of my total daily burn & that is less than I even ate so the blip on the scale is fluid retention from the tacos, lack of water & natural increases seen after a fast. A great round for me. I feel so motivated. Next round will have lots of travel & social so I am worried, but I am going to work again on that self control when away from home. See you in round 71.

Back again! March is a new month and a new start. Who knew having adult children was going to be more stressful than having teenage children. February was exhausting and I did not do well with my weight at all. Ended January at 148 and ended February at 153. Between TOM, a week in Las Vegas, and my stressful children, I am ready to get back on track. My 10 day goal is to get back in the 140's no matter what, which is very doable. I know most of this bloat and water weight should come off pretty easy.
03/04 - 154.9 fourth day in a row. I am finally done with TOM as of today and back on track with food. Looking forward to getting back in the 140's, so I am going to stay strong. I had no desire or will last week and it shows. Felt terrible most of the week and was exhausted. Thank goodness I only go through that every 3-4 months. Feeling motivated and in good spirits today and that will hopefully keep me motivated.

03/05 - 154.0 I thought it would be lower. Ate very low calorie yesterday, but did cave and have a couple of beers with my hubby. I had been kind of cranky the last couple of days towards him and was finally feeling better. So when he asked if I would have a drink with him, I kind of caved. It was nice sitting there, relaxing, cooking dinner, and just talking to him. I get super moody sometimes during TOM and my hubby pays the price, lol. He is really is a good man even though he drives me crazy sometimes. So on track so far today and no alcohol tonight. I should start seeing this water weight come off. I am expecting a pretty decent drop tomorrow.

03/06 - 153.0 and down another pound. Don't know why my body is holding on to this weight this week. Usually TOM ends and within 3 days I'm down like 5 pounds. I usually will have 2 days that I lose 2 pounds easily each day. Of course this month that is not happening. Maybe tomorrow I will have a pretty good drop. Ate well under calories yesterday and had no alcohol. All I can do is trust the process and stay on track!

03/07 - 151.1 There we go! I new I had a pretty good whoosh coming soon. Did really well again yesterday calorie wise, water wise, and still no alcohol. My son has an orthodontist appt today, daughter has a doctors appt, and I have parent teacher conferences in between. Also came to work this morning to finish up a couple of things, so should be a pretty crazy day. Hopefully can follow through with my meals that I have planned at some point and stay on track. Would love to see another big whoosh tomorrow or Saturday to get back in the 140's. My goal this round was just to get back to 148/149 something. I was there 3 weeks ago before life took over and I lost all control,lol. So far doing way better than I had been doing! 6 more days to lose 1.2 pounds to see 140's again.
03/08 - 152.3 and the roller coaster continues. I kind of expected a little bump. I never ate anything until 5:00 last night. I was so busy and didn't want to stop and go through a drive through, so I just waited. Looking back I should have stopped and I probably would have been better off. By the time 5:00 rolled around we were at the bowling alley and I was starving. I didn't go crazy, I was well within calorie goals, but not a drop of it was by any means a healthy choice. I stayed with only 1 piece of pizza, some fries, and a couple of jalapeno poppers, but I also ended up having a couple of beers. I know my water intake was awful yesterday, because I spent most of the day in a car or dr offices or meeting with teachers. So back on track today and hopefully will see a drop tomorrow. 5 days to lose 2.4 pounds
03/09 - 151.7 Iβll take it. Did well all day yesterday. No alcohol last night, which on a Friday night not to have a beer is a real win in my book. Date night with the hubby and some friends from out of town planned for tonight. Also birthday lunch for my mama today, sheβs 60, so that should be fun and then taking both my daughters for mani-pedis. Plus I need to get some grocery shopping done for the week. So busy day ahead of me. I feel like I have lost a ton of my bloat finally. Still 4 days left to lose 1.8 pounds to get back in the 140βs.
03/10 - NW - Because of the time change and we were out so late, didn't have time to weigh. We were already running late and had to meet a bunch of friends to go shooting. We had never taken the 2 youngest with us, so they were so excited to get out there and do some target shooting.
03/11 - 153.4 up a bit, normal weekend gain. I actually did way better than normal. Back to work today and meals are set. Had an amazing weekend, so busy and crazy, but tried to maintain calories. My alcohol consumption was way more than I planned Saturday night, but didn't have a drop of alcohol on Sunday. Still working towards my goal and should see a pretty good drop tomorrow. 2 days left to lose 3.5 pounds
03/12 - 153.3 I don't think I am going to be seeing the 140's again this round. Kind of discouraged, but not giving up. I didn't do much of anything accept gain in the month of February, so it may just take the month of March to get back in the swing of things of things. Oh well, I guess we will see what I end on tomorrow and start a new round.
03/13 - 152.7 The scale went from 151.7 to 152.7 and back and forth numerous times. So I am going with the larger number so I don't get frustrated tomorrow. I did not make my goal of hitting the 140's this round, but I am down 2.2 pounds and my 10 day average is also down about a half a pound. So I'm taking my wins where I can get them. Hoping next round is way better for me. I can't believe taking 1 month off of dieting has thrown me back 2 months. Half way through the month and hoping to be down at least the 5 pounds that I gained. On to round 71!

03/10 146 --My sister was visiting 3/3 - 3/10 and I wasn't entirely eating on track. And we went out Sunday night. And after eating almost nothing for the 10 days surrounding my appendectomy, I thought eating was probably a good thing to do!
03/11 144.5 -- I got back on track eating-wise yesterday. Back to the gym today for the first time after my appendix removal. It felt so good to do some zumba!!
03/12 144 -- Ate pretty well yesterday and saved calories to go out to dinner. I decided just to walk today as I am a little sore from the gym yesterday.
03/13 145 -- Wish it would just go down and stay there, but up and down is pretty normal for me. I walked 4 miles yesterday. Stomach was a bit sore from returning to exercise Monday. I was hungry yesterday and indulged in a few broken peanut butter cookies, in the hope that the calories had fallen out when they broke. Apparently that was not the case! See you all next round!

3/7 - 132.2 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, did not manage any stairs since I got absolutely nailed to my desk by emergencies; however got a nice bodyweight strength workout in at home.
3/8 - 133.0 - yesterday a smidge over maint, 13K steps and a run with dogger. Fell running and got some rad rash on my knee... going to work in skinny jeans , which are literally all I have, is unappealing
3/9 -132.8 - yesterday under calorie goal, 7K steps and a few sets of pushups/crunches. Knee a little swollen and stiff but no serious damage.
I owe my strong bones to all the running I did in my 40's and 50's, and tripping while I run is the price I have paid maybe a dozen times ... not coordinated ... I feel like I will be falling in my 80's and NOT breaking bones (in spite of all my osteo risk factors), and saying, thanks younger me for getting on with strength workouts and running! Weight bearing exercise is the BOMB, and in addition, gets me a lot more calories a day to eat!
3/10 -133.0 - yesterday 9K steps but over maintenance calories by 150 ... I did great till evening when I was tired. A few small strength exercises but knee still stiff and sore so nothing heavy duty yet.

3/13 - 133.8 - yesterday a bit over maintenance but not wildly so... best I could do on a very emotional day. 12K steps. Ran 2.7 miles in the late evening and my knee feels it, but it was necessary for mental health!

03/04 β 143.6lb β Iβm up, but knew I would be, as I was eating the left-overs from Saturdayβs girlβs night which I hosted! I went for a 70s theme β prawn cocktail, duck a lβorange with steamed veg, finishing with baked Alaska! Unfortunately, Iβm not so good at chucking away food. Today was better though, with a good breakfast, salad for lunch and salmon curry with rice for dinner. OK, I did have a couple of sandwiches in the afternoon. But, my NSV was instead of raiding the cupboards before going out to the gym, I read some peopleβs threads and thought better of it! Thanks!!!
03/05 β 143.2lb β down slightly, but could have been up so much more if I hadnβt read the threads on this page! It was a busy day at work, with no time for a proper evening meal, so had a hot lunch. It was ok but I would have preferred to have had a hot evening meal at home instead! Just had 1 and a half pancakes in recognition of Shrove Tuesday. My husband kindly made these without much oil in the pan, he then swore because the batter stuck to the pan! I was just grateful for a cup of tea and a pancake!

03/10 β 141.9lb β got up reasonably early for a swim. I always mis-count so did extra to ensure I did 40 lengths. I actually did 42! Breakfast was lovely with a couple of poached eggs on a piece of unbuttered wholemeal toast with a side order of baked beans. Would love to get below 140lb β I exercise an ok amount, so it must be my portion control and self-sabotage!

Posting really late today. I've been having a craving and just checked and TOM is due this week, so that would explain that and maybe also my tiredness. I tried to satisfy the craving it over the weekend and went waaaay over calories. But now I know what I'm dealing with.
This month is going to be difficult, my last days in London this week, so I'm nervous about the move, new job and have a fair bit of travelling back and forth on top of being in temporary accommodation, new supermarkets etc.
Anyway, trying to find motivation to stick with my goals and keep doing what I need to go do get this weight down. Steps only 11k

Today is a rest day and date night, not a great combination. But I need a rest day and will enjoy the night and not watch my food or drinks. We have our anniversary for starting dating next week and I won't be here. Before that, I have so start actual packing, as in putting stuff in the suitcase, deciding my work outfits for the first couple of weeks. I'll also have a last dash to the shopping centre and should get my steps in that way and will keep my daytime cals to the minimum.

Today should be a good day, I have a Muay Thai PT session this afternoon so I have all the basics down before I start in a new gym. Otherwise, more packing and getting documents sorted for the new job. Only challenge could be to get my steps in. I'm supposed to run today ( I'm doing a Nike+ run club coached plan) but don't want to do that before the PT session. I'll have time to do that tomorrow instead.

My excuse is TOM, which was giving me a lot of cramps before the PT session.
BUT there is an NSV in there: i logged all the snacks instead of throwing the towel for the day (eve) and technically was still within cals, including all exercise cals.
Today, I plan to do yoga and run and then we'll go for brunch with a friend who is visiting. After that: final packing, eeek.

Travel day yesterday, didn't make my steps and didn't log, but also didn't eat very much, which is probably why I had such a drop. Today, it has been lashing rain apart from a short break, which I used to quickly check the way to the office, go food shopping, check the gym and also buy running leggings and longsleeve, which I put in the wrong bag (my DH will bring next week).
Still not logging, the kitchen in my airbnb isn't great, so I'm not so keen to cook. My eating isn't too bad though. Now waiting for the rain to stop again before it gets dark so I can go for a quick run and see the town centre, but this might not happen.

Went thai boxing last night, it was great.
What a round, so much has happened again. I'm not very engaged, and the next round might not be very different. But i'll keep weighing and will start logging again once i'm a bit more settled. DH is coming for this weekend and then I'm going back to London next weekend for his bday, there will be a lot a food&drink. By mid April, we'll hopefully be a bit more settled after a hectic, exciting 6+ months full of life changes.

Have been feeling a little on the hungry side all last round so was expecting to see a drop β but not yet. Figured out my BMR and realized that even at 1200 cals. I am only at a slight deficit (300) so that being sloppy on counting, having a little treat or two, puts me at maintenance. Checked what Iβd put into MFP at the beginning and discovered - exercise 30 min./day. That was because I had my dog at that point and had to walk her at least that each day; usually it was 45 β 60. min. Now I go to the gym and exercise much harder but only 2 or maybe 3 times a week. Need to pray for peace. Life has been stressful and my brain feels extremely scrambled. Time change and warmer temps are a sign that seasons are soon to change and we can get OUTSIDE! Fresh air does the mind and body good. Work and home life being a mess make me crazy. When does it ever end?! Eating at work has been good but home eating is out of control. 80/20 is better than nothing, right? Now to slowly add back in the βmove more/exerciseβ part.10
