Progressive overload I started with the weight I could manage doing BODY FOR LIFE its a great beginner program that's free and kept adding weight over the years.
What is Body for Life? I think I have it at home but is a book that I bought in 2003 I believe. What is it now?0 -

I’m the OP here and I’m bumping this because I need motivation. I lost 105lbs then my wife had my son and I’ve gained around 80 of it back. I’m 26 years old 392lbs and actually scared for my health.19

At the top, I was 230 lbs. Bottom, 137lbs (11 months later.)

Hey, Terry. Welcome back!
The good news is - you know what you need to do to lose the weight.
The bad news is - you know what you need to do to lose the weight.
What helped me a lot while in my weight loss phase was having smaller, more achievable mini goals along the way. Made the big picture less intimidating.
You've got this.

Baby steps terry! Set your deficit goals and start loading up on those chicken and veggies! . Or whatever works for you. Teeny tiny goals make the whole thing doable. I found being in group challenges helped with motivation for everything from logging everyday, staying under calories, getting steps in, etc..
I’m 6’4”, 39 and down 87 pounds now in 9 months. From 309 to 222. I’m doing recomp now and trying to slowly add that yum yum muscle
It may be a long journey ahead of you, but the time will pass no matter what. In 12 months you could be 100 pounds lighter and a new you....or right where you’re at now, possibly worse.
