5/7/2019: 168.5 oh man. Motivation low. Hyperphagia and bloat from dysmenorrhea. Food trips with stouts.
5/15/2019: 163.2 (most of last week's weight was water and shed it fairly fast); worked out 3x at gym this week (30-60mins/ea) and stuck mostly to caloric goals without giving up really good sourdough bread. Weight loss ensues when one follows formula (less calories in+burn more calories+more water+more sleep). Fought hard not to order take-out dumplings at 11:48PM last night and just willed myself to sleep.
Gonna be challenging this week again as going away on work trip. Wedding guest in 1.5 weeks. Total loss to date: 22lbs-- not bad (Moved out of obese BMI category, per NIH BMI calculator).4 -

New and just started over again 2/11/19 at 225.8 and need to lose over 100lbs and prefer the challenges to keep me more motivated. I have started over for the 2nd time this year already. I started in January had some issues, and finally started again in February. So up for this challenge!

Back on track again. Got some pain relief for my shoulder allowing me to get back to full range of motion. Another week before my next 10k and beach trip.

This week's successes: Yay! I finally did it! I was able to break out of the 170s lbs, break out of the 77s kg, and hit my 25% to goal! I was very happy, but I also had a hard time believing it. So this morning I weighed myself again to double-check, and it actually was 167.8 lbs! But since my weigh-in was yesterday, I'm keeping the first weigh-in as the official one. I feel so relieved, especially after very little progress in the past few weeks.
This week's challenges: I've had a pretty bad cough going on for the past few weeks now. It's been annoying to deal with. Also, I haven't been doing much exercising.
Next week's goal: I want to focus on doing what makes me happy. I want to start working on improving my mental and emotional health.

That's a great goal! It's on my to-do list but I still feel I have a zillion things to do that have prevented me from focusing on it. I've had to wean my goals down to the bare minimum to stay on track. Best of luck

Realized I did not post last week so catching up!
Last Sunday I was at 148.9 but weight went up & down during the week and then dropped again over the weekend to - wait for it - 148.9. The good news was that for at least 2 days last week I was below my short term goal of being below a BMI of 30 and dropped from the obese to overweight category (this is why I weigh daily to see the success, even if it is fleeting). Since increasing carbs, my weight has seemed to fluctuate more, so may look into dropping some carbs. Found out that one app that I was using for exercise was definitely overestimating the calories burned (almost double what my apple watch was reporting) so while I do not eat back any exercise calories, I do like to try to have exercise at a level to create an sufficient deficit to lose 1-2 sounds per week.
