5/13--207.8 Weight training at gym yesterday and then I took dog out for a long walk. Run tonight.
5/14--207.2 Did some snacking last night but stayed within my calorie goals. Went for a 3 mile run last night. Trainer tonight. Now that I realize that I snack a lot on the evenings I workout with my trainer I am already planning ahead. I did some research and found that the need to snack can be due to a need for protein, so today I am making sure that I up my protein intake after my workout. Hopefully that will help with my snacking tonight.
5/15--207.2 My plan to eat more protein after my workout helped. While I still snacked it was definitely less snacking than the last time I worked out with the trainer. Run tonight and then maybe yoga... depends on if I have to work late.
5/16--208.1 Bump is definitely due to my salty snacks yesterday evening. The snacking struggle is real. Was raining when I got home so I didn't go for a run, but I could have...was too lazy. Also did not go to yoga, but trainer is tonight.
5/17--208.3 Very tough workout yesterday so not surprised about the bump up. Going out for lunch and happy hour today, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.
5/18--208.7 I knew there would be a bump up after happy hour yesterday, but I had a great time. Even though I didn't feel like it I went out this morning and ran 5.5 miles...I was so proud of myself. I then decided to take some measurements and found I had lost 7 inches all over in the past 2 months...very excited! Today I'm going to take dog out for a long walk and make sure I get my water in.
5/19--208.9 Sore from run yesterday and my hip is hurting, so between the lingering affects from Friday's happy hour, the water retention from my sore muscles, and inflammation from my sore hip I'm not surprised I'm up again today and expect to be up for a couple of days. Going to take MIL out to lunch today for her birthday and then resting/icing my hip for the rest of the day.
5/20--210.7 I'm not even worried about the jump in my weight. I know it's from the salt at lunch yesterday, inflammation from my sore hip, and the lack of water I've had over the past 2 days. Hip is feeling better, no pain today and less soreness. Just making sure that I'm not sitting for long periods of time so that the hip doesn't tighten up so much. Did not go to gym yesterday and I won't be running today and instead I will just take it easy and do some light walking.
5/21--209.6 There goes some of the water weight. Hip still sore...worked out with trainer, but all of the workout was upper body. I'm going out of town tonight to visit my parents so I won't be weighing in for a couple of days. I will be back for the next round.

05/13 184.9 lbs came back from a fun convention last night. I didn’t count my calories Friday to Sunday, but this was the plan for this weekend ever since I started my MFP journey, so I don’t feel bad about it. Now back on track!

05/19 181.9 lbs I fell off the wagon for a few days. Still tried to eat mostly clean, but didn’t log and had a few sins in between. So I’m ok with what the scale says and as I have every meal prepped for the coming week this week should be much easier for me!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it!
The last day I shall not be weighing in as we shall be flying out for the first day of our holiday in Italy. Need to do really well over the next 9 days .

05/13 DNW - yesterday flew to Italy for a week. Managed to walk just over 5 miles, some in the airport before the flight and then a wander around after we checked in the hotel. Going to try to make healthy choices, but we are on holiday so !! At least we have good scope for good walking and lots is either steep up or down hills, plenty calorie burning !!!
05/14 DNW - 9 miles walked yesterday including 3 down the hill to Sorrento and of course then back up at the end of the afternoon !!
05/15 DNW - caught ferry over to Capri yesterday after walking down to the marina, did loads of walking over alot up hill and of course walked back up the hill to the hotel at the end of the day; 12 miles walked and 224 flights of stairs !!
05/16 DNW - 11.5 miles walked, tried to make healthy food choices, lots of water
05/17 DNW - 10 miles walked, still within calories as best I can count - it's difficult when eating out and not in charge of preparing. Caught the train to Herculaneum, amazing set of ruins and allegedly in better condition than Pompeii if a smaller site.
05/18 DNW - walked down the hill again to catch the bus to a lovely fishing village on the Amalfi coast, walked all the way down to the sea and later back to the top for bus back to Sorrento and walk all the way back up the hill; 10.25 miles walked and 161 flights of stairs.
05/19 DNW - just short of 10 miles walked & 103 flights of stairs yesterday. Fly back home today, day of reckoning to log in again !!!
05/20 135.8 – oh my giddy aunt !!!!! 5 ½ pounds up, higher than when I joined my first challenge 8 rounds ago!! and I thought I'd made healthy food choices and walked loads everyday. Oh well back at it. I read sometime ago that flying does bloat so hoping some of this is due to that and will quickly melt away. Onwards and hopefully downwards.
05/21 133 – heading back in the right direction (thank goodness !!), just under 8 ¾ miles walked, 1,126 calories consumed 97 fl oz water consumed
05/22 132.4 – yes! more travel weight dropped, just over 6 miles walked yesterday. Shame I didn't get back to my end weight of last round, but ce la vie!! A challenge to get below it in the next round !!

13/05 - 201.6 - up a pound. Not a great start I am not great at weekends. I had a long walk and plenty of water.
14/05 - 199.8 - down a lot. Got a lot of exercise and standing in yesterday. Food very good and lots of water.
15/05 - 200.2 - up little today but although I was good with food yesterday there was a bit too much bread. Hopefully with a bit of exercise and no bread today I will be down tomorrow.
16/05 - 199.2 - happy with that loss. Dinner was light yesterday and everything else was good. Dinner today is not going to be light so I expect to put some of it back on so I will have to be extra careful with everything else.

I am in for another round and have struggled through the beginning of last round and the end of round 75. When I started the first round I never imagined I would still be here. I am 52, 5’1.5” and still in the obese category but I am working on that. I have only been with MFP since February of this year when started using MFP site steady (joined 2016 and didn’t use much and then used off and on) and the weight loss is slowing down already. I definitely need to keep moving (exercising and walking, etc.) in order to see the scale go down. It is tough some days not seeing it move or only seeing a small weight loss. 05/15: 167.0 Back to the number I was most of last week. Now to lose from here. Planning a walk this morning. My husband joined MFP last night! He doesn't have much to lose but he wants to work out together a few nights a week! He hasn't exercised since before our wedding 9 years ago. This will help me meet my goals and get him back into a healthier mindset. We certainly aren't getting any younger...

Goal for round 77 - continue the momentum from 76 and end with a loss. I’ve been up and down through the challenges and would like to see a steady decline, no matter how small.
5/13 - 143.5. Got in a 4 mile run and did tons of walking and was on my feet all day. But most of that was at a music festival. Did not hydrate at all, can feel that today (and not from alcohol, only had one beer. Barely drank any water while there). No good food choices so I tried to stick to smaller portions. Got home at 2am so not nearly enough sleep last night. Hopefully won’t let that derail me too much today. All worth it to see Foo Fighters 😊.
5/14 - 143.5. Pretty happy this is the same as yesterday, fully expected a gain. I feel bloated today. Wins yesterday - long walk with dog. Other than that I rested and ate too much. My husband and I both took the day off post-concert so we went out to lunch. Back to tracking, hydrating, and a solid workout today, 8 days left in this challenge to hopefully see a decent loss.
5/15 - 143.7. So surprised it's not higher. Wins yesterday - HIIT class and 2.5 mile walk. Food intake was terrible, I grazed all day long. Super stressed about work stuff (company going through a merger, had several meetings in the morning and my job is looking less and less stable) so I gave in to stress eating. Really need to reign that in today and stay on track for these last 7 days!
5/16 -145.1. Wow. 2 days of stress eating can do a lot of damage. Need to find a better outlet for stress. Work and family stress at the same time - time to pull out my stress management tools and avoid the pantry. Did get a 4 mile run and a 3 mile walk in yesterday but clearly ate too much and didn't drink enough water.
5/17 - 144.0. Much better day. Wins: RPM class and over 4 miles walked. Hydrated well. Ate better - had a little bit of junk at Bunco but was within a deficit. I guess some of that jump in weight was bloat so that helped make a drop for today. Now to work on the weight. 5 more days, if I focus I can do this.
5/18 - 143.1. Back down. Wins yesterday - hydration, 3 mile walk, core circuit, tracked calories and ended in deficit (even with steak for dinner!). Will be outside in the heat all day today and tomorrow. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!
5/19 - 142.9. Wins yesterday: HIIT class and 2.5 mile walk with dog early morning. Hydrated well because I was outdoors in 92 degree weather all day. Didn’t eat the best but I was still in a deficit. Hard to stay focused when you’re hot and miserable and kind of bored between your kid’s games 😊. Another day of it today, goal is to stay hydrated and in a deficit. And making sure my kid stays well hydrated in this heat too!
5/20 -144.0. UUUGGGGHHH. Yesterday was the perfect storm of my gym rest day so not as much movement, dehydrated I know because of the heat and humidity (thanks, North Carolina weather), and a dinner higher in calories and sodium than I've been having lately. I wasn't necessarily off plan and my calorie count wasn't too high, so I'm hoping it's just those reasons that I'm up again. Weighing daily is a roller coaster!
5/21 - 143.5. Down from yesterday which is great, but annoyed that I'm where I was 9 days ago. I need more discipline! Wins yesterday: 4 mile run, 45 min hot yoga class. snacked a bit too much in the afternoon but had a lighter dinner so I evened out. Attended a visitation for a friend of the family who passed away so was a bit of a stressful day, but I didn't turn to food too much which was a pleasant surprise.
5/22 - 142.4. Shocked at this drop! But happy to end the round with a good loss. Wins yesterday: HIIT class and walked 5 miles. Stayed at calorie target. Need to hydrate more, woke up with a dehydration headache today. My body has not acclimated to this heat and humidity yet. See you all in the next round.9 -

05/13 – 143.5 – Glad to see I went down a pound.
05/14 – 143.5 – Although I’m glad I’m not up from Sunday’s calories, I am noticing that my trend weight has gone up a pound. I’ve gotten a little lax in measuring and weighing my food, so I’m going to start paying more attention.
05/15 – 142.5 - Drank plenty of water yesterday and stuck to 1400 calories.
05/16 – 143.5 – Well the body is going to do what the body wants to do…I drank plenty of water and kept at 1400 calories.
05/17 - 142.5 - Very busy day today, but also a lot of sodium, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.
05/18 - 143.5 - I almost forgot to weigh this morning. This was after breakfast and several cups of coffee. I've had a semi high calorie day, but I've done a lot of physical work today too. We'll see how this all plays out tomorrow.

05/21 – 145 – No surprise here, other than I’m surprised it’s not higher. My husband and I worked on a rental house we’re getting ready to sell from Friday through Sunday. We ate pizza and tacos for supper those nights. Then my husband wanted to take another day off work and drive to Amish country for some Amish cooked buffet food yesterday. It was delicious. My nsv was that for dessert I had one piece of German chocolate pie. In the past, I would buy a whole pie, take it home and piece on it the rest of the week. I am now at the top of my maintenance range, so I’m going to be watching my calories and water very closely the rest of this week. I’d like to get down a couple pounds before the picnic season hits full swing.

5/22 .. 162.4 (yesterday weighed 163). Yeah. Walked around farm field trip for 3 hours on a beautiful day and ate wisely.

Lost down to 180 doing lazy keto last spring, but the summer vacations came and then the holidays
and I put all of the weight back on. I am going to be consistant with tracking my food...good or bad...and
get healthier this year.

05/16 188.4 Not sure how I had a drop, because I went out to dinner last night. Had seared tuna and spinach, but also had a few bites of desert and wine.
05/17 188.0 Going to keep the scale going down over the weekend! Goal is to end lower than last round.
05/18 187.8 I thought I would have more of a loss than this. I got 16,000 steps yesterday and was good on my food and water.
05/19 186.6 Went out to eat last night but had my dish without the rice. Got 13,000 steps and lots of water.
05/20 188.0 Don't know what caused that jump. Walked 13,000 steps yesterday and was good with food and water.

05/13 - 183lb - after the success of round 76, I let myself have a day of relaxed (but not crazily so) eating before I go hard again this round. Ate over my goal but not more than 1700 calories in total. Back to normal restrictions today!
05/14 - 182lb - sub-goal achieved! Onwards and downwards next sub-goal is 12.5 stone (175lb)!
05/15 - 182lb - made good food choices yesterday, though ate a little later than normal. Looking forward to seeing 12-something (stone) on the scale!
05/16 - 182lb - good food choices yesterday. Still can't go to the gym because of my back but I'm keeping on the food thing! The scales flipped between a couple of numbers so hopefully I'm not far off the next loss!
05/17 - 181lb - bingo! Pretty much same as yesterday, good food choices but no gym. Back is feeling a little better so perhaps next week... Also scale was flipping between 180 and 181 so just maybe...
05/18 - 180lb - hey look at that! Stuck to the food plan yesterday very so very pleased! Also tried some light basic yoga and completely screwed my back up again... Ho hum! But focus on the positives
05/19 - 182lb - totally deserved... Massive salty meal out with friends, beer etc. But its a temporary gain and it'll come off again in a day or two. Onwards and downwards!
05/20 - 182lb made some poor food choices again yesterday, but will be good today! Scale jumped between 181 and 182lb though so that's an improvement. I'd really like to end this round 181 or below.
05/21-181lb and flickering between 180 and 181. Had a good food day yesterday and back seems to be improving a little
05/22 - 181lb - gah didn't make my goal, but it's still a loss overall so I'll take it

05/21 - 157.2 - I tried posting from phone but apparently I failed. TOM and water weight.
05/22 - DNW - Had tornadoes all around me yesterday. Food wasn't great. Training sucked the life out of me. I know I was dehydrated and I'm having some serious soreness today from bunker gear and airpaks. Trying to get back today into routine. Baseball practice today so I may take a walk while I watch them practice to loosen up. If I remember/get home at a decent time, I'll do a quick nighttime yoga from youtube. Because of all this, I didn't even think to step on the scale as I know its WAY off. DOMS, dehydration, and TOM? Not accurate at all and I won't put myself in a bad mindset with that, even if I know its not correct

05/13 - I didn't sleep well at all last night. Wasn't feeling great so stayed with the boyfriend (and so glad I did, nightmares suck). My stomach hurts like crazy. Worse now that I've eaten (was hoping I was just hungry or had stomach acid buildup but guess not). Gonna be a long day. Only have a protein shake at work so may have to survive on vending machines again. We shall see.
05/14 - Uptick but expected. I feel so bloated, heavy, and full. Took some miralax just in case I have an issue like before (inflamed intestines so food would get stuck and not move through). It kinda feels like it, but not quite to the extent it did before. I have my week planned out through Friday lunch (weekends I'm with the bf so I can't preplan so well. Plus, kids are at his this weekend). Actually got some decent sleep last night. Feeling positive I can come back from this. Need to up water, didn't even hit the 64oz goal. Going for my 75oz today in hopes that also helps my intestines move things along.
05/15 - Woohoo!! Got that drop I was hoping for. I feel really big this morning (not bloated per se, but my belly sure wants to stick out). Hoping its just last night's dinner weighing a little heavy on me. Even on bloated days, I don't feel this big. This meal planning thing is helping so much more than I thought and I'm able to stick to it so far. Only really one day in, but it wasn't so bad cooking last night for just me. I pre-recorded meals for today and as of right now I'm under by about 35 calories. That's not factoring in any activity (I have it set to the lowest possible activity for calories and use my fitbit to help add as needed based on how active I am during the day. Desk job life). But I also have a clif protein bar for this morning between my breakfast and lunch (or if I don't need it, lunch and dinner) to help boost calories above 1200. I have the remainder of this week through Friday lunch planned (stay with bf Friday night-after dinner Sunday) and next week Monday morning-Friday lunch. Only issue is I found out I have training for fire brigade Monday and Tuesday so its company provided lunch. Hopefully the training will leave me active enough to eat it without feeling super hungry. Gotta grab healthy snacks this weekend to take with and focus on.
05/16 - Was good on food until the afternoon. Ended up having a couple handfuls of peanut m&ms because I was falling asleep standing up and needed a sugar rush until I could get out of work. Had a couple beers with my bf and ended up eating part of a pub pizza before going home to dinner with him and the kids. Oof. I haven't updated my tracking yet to see what kind of damage. Just shy in water (about 64/75oz). Good news, though, is that the Miralax definitely helped sooth me. I'm not so bloated anymore and my intestine area isn't so cramped. Maybe I'll be back to regular soon and see some retention weight fall off. Even water caused issues until yesterday. I forgot what it was like to use the bathroom so often with all this water drinking! Didn't make the dinner I planned but luckily I bought a spare salad kit just in case and I stopped by the house to get that for lunch today so I'm not eating icky out of the vending machine again. Bf is coaching his son's baseball team in their first practice tonight so I'll be home for sure and can make my planned dinner (and lunch leftovers for tomorrow). Plus a weigh in before the weekend to see where I'm at.
05/17 - Down I go. I was expecting a gain or no loss with how I went overboard on Wednesday. But yesterday I kept it just barely above my original calorie range (read: before I calculated in my exercise/movement calories). I'm assuming had I not binged Wednesday, today's drop would be even lower but yesterday made up for Wednesday and I'm still content with the loss. I'm traveling from plant to plant today so I made a sandwich and getting a bag of chips for a portable lunch. Its well within my current (original) calorie goal and leaves plenty for dinner tonight. Add in any exercise and the lots of walking I'm bound to do, I'll be set for today!
