May was not a great month for me. I had way to much going on (vacation, graduation, end of the year programs/projects, and parties) every time I turned around. School is out for the summer though and I am ready to get back on track. Being a mother of 5 (2 which are adults supposedly) can take a toll on you sometimes. Thank goodness I have an amazing family and husband that help me.

"Juuuuuune--She'll change her tune." A little Simon & Garfunkel for ya!
It's been a while, so let me catch you all up...In somewhat of a nutshell....
I have changed my tune for the month of June. May was a dud and pretty stressful as the last 10.5 months, but that stress (my darling 11 yr old niece) has now moved back down to FL to live with her mother, I can now focus on me and getting back on track (again). Mid-May until about the first days of June, I indulged--a lot! I honestly gained about 3 to 4 lbs but when you have Lymph-edema you can double that number! So when I finally stepped on the scale---wow! Oops, I did it again! Not in a good way either!
June 3: 205 lbs (edema & well, carbs) lol
Saw that number and decided to go rouge. Detox time! In Jan. of this year I detoxed for 8 days and lost 14 lbs--a lot was my edema weight but, nonetheless, a pretty good loss. I'm hoping, 5 months later, another weight-loss miracle. Now, that it's hotter and I can increase my workouts, I know I can have better results than I did during the Winter. *Prayer hands*

Detox: Water, Organic teas, black coffee, Stevia, Healthy fatty oils, such as coconut and olive, organic chicken & beef broth.7
