Ok. It might be me (I'd have to scroll back and look). I've been trying not to hit it because someone else mentioned it last month. So what is woo? I assume it is not "woo hoo" as in Way to Go!
In MFP forums, woo is generally meant that you disagree with what someone has posted. Either false statements or things not backed by science.
ETA: I doubt it is you. Someone has wooed nearly every post of mine in this thread and also in May's thread.
Well, it could be me too. I also interpret "woo" as "woo-hoo!", not "whoa!". Haha, could be generational, LisaW57 and I are similar in age. I do tend to use it when I see that someone is making progress, as in "yahoo". I definitely don't mean it as disagreeing, more like encouragement and congratulations.2 -

So my original June goal was 235 and I've almost hit it but I'm pretty sure anything I've lost has been water weight. I'm adjusting it to 232. Fingers crossed! I'm doing both intermittent fasting (16/8) and calorie counting plus I've been trying to hit 8000 steps per day. Small changes will hopefully lead to bigger changes!

Total lost June so far: -7.8 lbs, yikes. I'm losing too quickly, must be underestimating my calories from dance. I have a potluck tomorrow in the day and a gala/bday (champagne bar, drinking event) at night, so it should even out to a normal loss. If on Tuesday of next week I hit 165, I'm upping my calories!5 -

A bit of a disappointing result though I have eaten too many of my exercise calories this week. Any step in the right direction is good I guess.

Total loss for June - 3.2 Lbs (Saturday’s)
This weeks update: This week (June 13th) was my 2 year gastric bypass anniversary. I had my 2 year visit with my endocrinologist and she is very pleased with my progress. All is well and she says I have reached goal even if I am still not in “normal” BMI range. (I’m at 27 and “normal is under 25). The thing is, I’ve more or less maintained my current weight for 6 months now and she says this seems to be where my body is comfortable. She suggests I no longer focus on weight loss but on maintenance. I’ve been aiming to get down to 150 lbs. She says that if I really want to lose more and at the same speed, that I will have to be super strict with diet and exercise and therefore may make myself miserable in the process. So I have now decided to slowly work myself into maintenance phase. I have changed my weight loss goals from 2 lbs a week to 0.5 lbs a week. This will slowly get me ready for maintenance both emotionally and psychologically. After a lifetime of always thinking weight loss, changing to maintaining will be hard. I think this will be the hardest part of the journey by far.8 -

Thank you so much and I do get that people tend to worry and out of concern question how I do things on this journey. I've heard so many opinions on so many things I’ve tried during my entire life lol. I think where I got the most concern was when I decided on doing my gastric bypass surgery. I’m used to people questioning me now. I have no regrets so far on my journey. I’ve tried it all, some methods have been successful and others crashed and burned. Some have been unhealthy and others have been a blessing. I’ve learned along the way and now apply the methods that have helped me and are healthy. Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging message ❤️4 -
@mari_moulin Can we just pause and look at that ticker sitting at 170 pounds lost?! A million woo-hoo's to you! Congratulations for getting to what your health professionals consider a healthy stage for maintenance! That is a huge milestone whether you decide to go maintenance, or chase those last few pounds to your number goal - and you deserve a moment to celebrate!9
