Away again this weekend to go and meet our newest grandson but a round clear of any other major social events or weekends away.
This round & R84 to go before my holiday so reason to stay focused as would love to hit the 133lb by then (which in the UK is a milestone as it equates to 9.5stone. Aiming to lose 1.4lb this round and finish at 135lb
Round Start Weight 136.4lb
07/12 - 136.6lb (+0.2lb) OK with this - not unexpected as Thursday night is home made burger night so carb heavier than normal with the bun. Weight is holding steady. No distractions on the horizon today and will weigh in early tomorrow morning before we head off up north for the weekend to meet our new grandson - back Sunday evening so only one night away of eating out and hotel breakfasts!

OSW 88KG
RSW 66. 5kg (-21.5 kg) or {- 47. 4lbs}
Goal... Less than I started
07/12 65.8kg probably a false low as a only had a tiny dinner last night but I don't care! Last day of work today for 6 or so weeks so I will be at a party but I'm now good at keeping it keto.
Just realised I've lost over 25% of my original start weight!!

7/12 169.9 Got home Wednesday night weighed - 173.5. This morning 169.9 and hopefully down more tomorrow. While I was in Colorado I stayed within calories all but one day and even then was 200 over. I walked every day I was there. I had the most fantastic walks of my life. Like I'm trying to figure out how quickly I can go back just to walk trails. Turns out I love hiking, I mean it kicks my booty when I'm doing it but I have personally never done any physical exercise that gave me such a feeling of accomplishment. Please see the pic below, this is what I got to see after sweating my *kitten* off for twenty minutes climbing up. So this water weight is no biggie, I haven't been drinking as much water as I should, now that I'm home my regular routine should take care of that. I need to get caught up with you guys. HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

end weight from round 82 -- 145.8
heaviest was June 16 --153.4...that day I came up with a new plan, and here we are..thank you for this forum! I will achieve my goal and I will maintain it once there.
goal this round; 1.5 lbs less
end goal: 125
GOAL: Be AWARE of my food choices...
WHY ---do I choose what I choose
WHEN --do I choose the food I choose
HOW ---do those choices impact your weight and fitness goals? The understanding of these questions should be enlightening to help me make better future decisions and change patterns of behavior
3rd round for me. This is a great way to keep in touch with others with similar goals. I'm 49 yo female Canadian expat living in Central America. Good luck all for to continuing the journey to all our goals. On 6/25 I decided to give up alcohol for a month, partly to help with weight loss, but who am I kidding...lol I need a etoh break anyways. So, I'm doing my exercise, mindful choices with food, and haven't had etoh in 17 days.

07/12 160.4 - 14,300 No diet change. It is water retention because I am uncomfortably puffy again. Started birth control last week for medical reasons and even though doctor said it wouldn’t affect weight, I have to believe that is where this is coming from. I’m having a few other issues as well. Maybe it is just a transition time - I hope. This stinks! 😔

07/12 - 333.6 - I am so excited! I'm a school administrator and have been off work for the summer since June 7th. When I weighed in on 6/8, I was 349.6. One of my goals this summer was to kick my exercise and good eating habits into high gear. Here I am barely over a month later and I'm down 16 lbs! I'm keeping my calories to 2,000 most days; if I do go over, then I exercise longer to ensure I have a deficit. The biggest change is that I've been doing a LOT of walking. I exercise 7 days a week, where my 1 rest day is just a 30 minute easy walk. The other days I'm averaging over 70 minutes of exercise per day. Eating out is almost non-existent...too much salt. I finally found the right combination of food, exercise, and sleep that works best for my body.

@evangsimmons170 Welcome to the group! OSW=Original Starting Weight. UGW=Ultimate Goal Weight. EGW=End Goal Weight. HSW=Highest Starting Weight.
Many folks list the highest weight they've ever been (HSW). They will often list the starting weight when they began MFP or this particular challenge (OSW). What they hope to achieve during the next 10 days would be their EGW. Their final goal & final weight they hope to achieve over time would be their UGW. I hope this helps.
I look forward to sharing your journey with you.6 -

**I am still fighting my stress. It's not easy, it has gotten a little bit better. I do have some old strategies that I implement and I'm going to add some that I haven't tried. I have not experienced stress at this level for 17 years. Some days have been so good that I think it's over, but all I have to do is read about, have a conversation about or someone tell me something about a stressful event, the cortisol skyrockets. I can feel it building in my gut. It's terrible.
1) trying to sleep a little more. That has not been working.
2) taking adrenal support supplements again. Working☺
3) Gardening relaxes me (working) Walking would too, but it has been excessively hot and humidity extremely high + grass pollen is very high. Not a good mix for me, although I did walk 2 days in a row in high heat. That was a NO.
4) Drank weak coffee today, tomorrow, my plan is no coffee, no sweeteners and replace with stress reducing green and herbal teas for the next month.
5) Reducing screen time as much as I can.
Keto and high cortisol stress DO NOT play well together! On the days it's high, I eat higher carbs, the cortisol demands it and the carbs are in the form of pretzels or crackers. I think I've only had a couple of days really high, not keto, but high low carb days. I limit it. I'm sure the cortisol knocked me out of ketosis for a while. Intermittent fasting brought me back, even though IF is stressful to the body too. I'm working on it.

This weekend I'm going to celebrate my birthday which was yesterday, as well as going to a concert. So a for the next couple of days I'll expect and be ok with a slight weight gain.
Goal is to be at 160 by the end of these 10 days.
PS. Please add me. I need some more friends7 -
@tiabirdie56 I hope you start feeling better. I used to have terrible anxiety when I was younger, I know exactly ow debilitating it can be. The older I have gotten it seems that it has gotten better to, except when it comes to my children. Now that they are becoming adults I seem to stress a lot when it comes to them, lol.
@ConfidentRaven You are doing so good. I can't believe the progress you have made. I agree everybody needs a rest day now and then.5
