Duck DNA = Duck
Dairy DNA =/= Dairy?
Also, if it is true, I'm feeling the same way about this as lab-grown meat...
Also, it’s $20 per pint. I think I’m good with Enlightened. https://www.sfchronicle.com/food/article/Bay-Area-company-unveils-ice-cream-made-with-real-14086727.php5 -

My coworker bought one of these the other day & it definitely didn't look like the picture. The whipped cream looked pretty at least.
Finally tried the Stroopwafel McFlurry! I had packed a healthy lunch & of course left most of it on the counter on my way to work today so during my lunch I decided to get one & walked over to McDonald's. While there I decided to also get a Big Mac (stomach please don't hate me tomorrow). The McFlurry was definitely amazing, but probably not something I'll get again. Loved the caramel that was chewy & the pieces added a nice crunch. I do like McFlurries & milkshakes, but I've found that I'm someone that likes my ice cream more dense.
On my vacation I tried the Cinnamon KFC biscuits & thought it was hard as a rock & definitely not sweet in the slightest. Such a disappointment. The Cheetos sandwich also was a bust, & didn't resemble the pictures or commercial at all!

Looks like they're plastic pipets filled with some kind of liquid.

@hgycta I tried a few of the Culture Republick flavors a while back and thought they were pretty good too. Not sure if the links to my thoughts on them will work properly, but here goes:

I've been eating out a LOT the past few months, which cuts into the snacks I can eat while at home but I've managed to fit in a couple of new(ish) ice creams.
Coolhaus' Hey! Cupcake flavor is pretty interesting. It's a frosting ice cream base with sprinkles and cupcake dough pieces mixed in. It's not bad but it is very sweet. It does taste like you're eating a bunch of frosting. The cupcake dough pieces just taste like a sort of cookie dough.
WF yuzu honey gelato topped with cookies. I'm not sure why WF is calling this a gelato, because it's definitely a sorbet. It's not bad, but I wasn't expecting a sorbet, and the cookie crumble topping doesn't really work as well with a sorbet as it would with a gelato/ice cream.
I'm fortunate to have a Jeni's scoop shop near me, and I picked up several of their latest flavors: blackout chocolate cake, fluffernutter pie, lemon and blueberries parfait (Frozen yogurt), Boston cream pie, and Savannah buttermint. All of them were delicious (and very high calorie, especially the Boston cream pie!) but I'm always partial to peanut butter, so the fluffernutter pie was my favorite flavor out of the bunch.
Peanut butter and marshmallow ice creams with oat pie pieces. Doesn't look like much, but it's delicious.
Lemon and blueberries parfait frozen yogurt was my second favorite. Tart and sweet and a dense, creamy texture like ice cream.
Blackout chocolate cake is very chocolaty with chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, fudge swirl, and chocolate chips. One of the better chocolate ice creams I've had. Boston cream pie tastes exactly like a Boston cream pie, and has a custard base with pieces of cake and fudge swirl. Savannah buttermint was interesting and a different take on mint chocolate chip ice cream- this one was mint ice cream with white chocolate chips.

That cool haus looks amazing and right up my alley! I love frosting and anything super sweet!
These came in the mail. They are of course delicious and I find myself adding them to everything from yogurt to ice cream to my coffee 😂.

Both of these flavors are fantastic! Super indulgent treat for only 45 calories!2 -
1.) that Coolhaus Hey Cupcake ice Cream looks AMAZING, dare I ask how many calories are in a serving?? o:
2) Those Lucky Charms Marshmallows also look amazing o.o
3.) Instagram is dangerous.
4.) I shouldn’t want this, and I know it will probably be mediocre/nothing at all like Twinkie’s, but I know I’m going to wind up buying it the second I see it
5.) has anyone tried these???? Got them from sam’s club! It’s a plum + apricot hybrid!

I can never find the yummy sounding dessert toppings....especially the 10 calories per serving ones.
You know, I'm in for the twinkies cereal. The powdered donuts and honeybuns ones ended up tasting really good.1.) that Coolhaus Hey Cupcake ice Cream looks AMAZING, dare I ask how many calories are in a serving?? o:

Plumcots (or pluots, depending on who you ask) were a farmer’s market staple in SoCal where we used to live. We could get a dozen or more varieties at the peak of the season. They’re very juicy and sweet. I think the ones from the grocery store never have as much flavor, but they’ll do if you aren’t lucky enough to have a farm nearby .3 -
We don’t have the climate for pluots here, so no farmers market buys, but pluots are one of my favorite summer fruits. I have been able to get them every summer for the past 5 year or so. Dinosaur pluots are what I buy. I haven’t seen them yet this year.1

Aren't some pluots yellow/orange? I have a tree with fruit and thought it was a plum apricot (pluot) after looking at fruit and fruit trees online.0

I was just eating that chobani yogurt when I saw this post. It tastes so good. It has a great hazelnut taste. I’m going to buy again

So I’ve never had jackfruit until now, but this is pretty decent for a meat alternative based meal! I was expecting not to like it at all, but it’s pretty good (not great by any means, but not bad). I would still much prefer meat, but for those who are vegan or vegetarian it’s worth checking out if you’re in sprouts! I added it to one of Joseph’s lavash bread with Taco Bell’s Mild sauce (I always keep extra packets of them in my drawer) and the wrap came to a VERY filling 390 calories burrito!
I read that jackfruit has a pork taste, but I thought it was more reminiscent of mushrooms than anything.
Also, I tried the plumcot I got from Sam’s Club; it tasted like a slightly more tart plum, I probably would’ve never noticed a difference if someone gave it to me without saying anything. It reminds me sort of grapefruit. I never heard of or seen a dinosaur plumcot before, but now I’ll DEFINITELY look for them!!! Thanks for everyone’s insightful responses, I’m in Maryland so I guess they’re just about nonexistent here haha

There are varieties in a lot of colors, from very dark purple/red to a light yellow.
Try to buy pluots that are not too firm but not mushy. Too firm means they’re not quite ripe; too soft and you’ll have nothing but juice.1 -
Someone may have already covered this, but I came across it in Sam's Club a few days ago and was caught off guard. I really wanted to get some, but I couldn't justify committing to a GIANT Sam's Club-sized box just for a taste. Anyone have it before?

I bought the brown sugar and cinnamon version and like it a lot. The pieces are small (just shy of an inch and yes I just measured it) and you can't really see the filling but can definitely taste it.3 -

Yes, this is so good! One of my favorite cereals. I eat it with almond milk and it's still so sweet.1 -
Okay so my built bars finally came in, and I have to say, you all weren't kidding! I had the chocolate raspberry cream and it was SO GOOD. Thank you all for enlightening me and introducing me to the brand!6

Just got an email from Built Bars that Mocha and Mint Brownie flavors are back, and both are permanently back, if anyone is interested.5

I'm super excited about this! One of my favorite things is mixing some PB2 into plain Fage Greek yogurt so this is right up my alley.
As a sidenote, I had posted that I ordered these a few weeks ago:Maxematics wrote: »
I do NOT recommend these. Bad texture which only got slightly better when microwaving and a funny aftertaste. I went to go finish off the last one yesterday and it had white mold on the top even though the expiration date was in 2020. It makes me grossed out that I ate the other five. Disgusting!6 -

I agree!! They are not good! I ordered the variety pack, so I keep thinking that one of the flavors would be good, but they are so dry and the texture is awful.4 -

They remind me of No Cow Cookies... which, alas, are (read: were... discontinued) no good.3 -

Still haven't gotten mine yet. Got an email today apologizing for the delay along with a 20% off coupon on a future order.1 -

I picked them last year but the squirrels got every piece of fruit off the tree. That and my radishes have disappeared. I'll have to buy them like everyone else...the tree has/had yellow fruit.0 -

I need to try jackfruit, I'll look for that fajita mix at Sprouts! The plumcot looks awesome too!2
