07/28 384.8 - I am still working on de-cluttering which is going great which is why I am not online as much. Brought some new things at Costco to replace worn out stuff at home. Today I am going to take 30 minutes to do some cleaning. And it is helping me feel better about self and coming home to an organized, fresh smelling apartment is awesome! Now the challenge is to keep it going because I still have a long way to go. This project helps keep my mind off food. My goal to have my place ready my November to have guests over like I use to. I love entertaining and this will be SOOO good for me. I know ultimately, I must do this in order to lose and keep my weight off for good. So, I am ready to get to these core issues with help from God, my therapist, WW and MFP. I am going to do whatever it takes.
07/29 386.8
07/30 382.2 – Not sure that is correct. We will see tomorrow. I got 7000 steps in yesterday which is my step goal and was within my WW point range also.
07/31 375.4 – It has been a minute since I have been in the 370’s. But I am determined to stick it this time around. I am eating cleanly 80/20 rule. Staying within WW range and drinking water and getting in those steps! And sleeping good too. I stepped on scale several time to make sure. It kept being in the 70’s. So finally I took a middle number and moved on. On to the next challenge. Doing the happy dance!! 13.4 pounds lost! And most of it in the last 5 days! It will slow down the next 10 days but that is ok, I am on the right track finally. <<<Round 83 goal weight: 385 >>>
Doing the happy dance!! 13.4 pounds lost! Two more pounds to go and I am out of the red for the year! Whoohoo! and I will be doing that in the 1st 10 days of August for sure. I will see you all in Round 85!
My journey … ("I May Not Be Where I Want To Be, but I’m Not Where I Use To Be!")In 2003 Weighed over 600 lbsMy highest weight was 611 in 2003. Weight in 2004 before weight loss surgery was 580. Lowest weight after surgery was 302 in 2007. "I May Not Be Where I Want To Be, but I’m Not Where I Use To Be!"
In 2005 Weighed under 400 lbs
In 2007 lowest weight after surgery 302lbs
I joined MFP on March 27, 2010 weighing in at 388 pounds. I was re-gaining weight and stumbled up on it while trying to get back on track. I was determined never to see 400+ on that scale again for me.
I have been morbidly obese all my life. I have a lifetime of mental and physical scars from obesity. In October 2004 I had Gastric Bypass surgery. WLS (Weight Loss Surgery) was the best gift that I could and did give to myself.
Between 2008 and 2010 I gradually gained back 80 of almost 300 pounds lost initially after weight loss surgery. I never reached my goal weight of 200 pounds. I still managed to keep off over 65 percent of the weight I lost which is very good and I am very proud of my accomplishments since 2004. It has literally changed my life for the better on all levels. I am here to lose re-gained weight and to reach my initial goal weight. I am in no hurry. I am taking this one day at a time and I am in it for the long haul.
Surgery did not fix the head. It is a good tool and the best gift I have given to myself, but it was not the easy way out as many people think. Once the honeymoon period is over after the WLS it is up to the patient to keep the weight off.
On August 29, 2011-- I was admitted to Intensive Out Patient Eating Disorder Program to learn how to manage my binge eating disorder effectively. The program is wonderful indeed and will be instrumental in me reaching all of my goals. The focus of this program was how to eat and not diet. Weight loss was not a goal of the program. I actually gained 20 pounds in program. But I had to get thru a lot of stuff and my the time I was released I had stopped gaining. I was discharged from program on December 3, 2011.
My tool is still working for me today. My head is still the issue. SO the struggle continues. I will never beat myself up again. I fight the fine fight faithfully and positively everyday. Because that is what will get me to my goals one day. Even though it may not show up on the scale every day -- Everyday I make progress one way or another just by showing up, waking up and trying.
Giving up is not an option for me. Perseverance, Patience, & Positive thinking will help me reach my goals…… and the same is true for you too!! We have the power within us.:flowerforyou: SW 373.4 - 1/3/19 GW 299 - 12/31/19 :flowerforyou:Round 64 - SW 373.4 EW 369 (-4.4)

07/22 - 132.4 (-0.1lb) - Food was all good besides hot chocolate at the end of the night, which definitely had added sugar. 1hr strength. 50min cardio. 14,385 steps. 137oz water.
07/23 - 132.6 (+0.2lbs) - Food was good. Up due to TOM which should start very soon. Day off strength. 1hr 30min cardio. 17,966 steps. 119oz water.
07/24 - 133.1 (+0.5lbs) - Food was good. TOM is cause of gain. Day off strength. 1hr cardio. 30min yoga. 15,278 steps. 119oz water.
07/25 - 132.8 (-0.3lbs) - Food was ok but chocolate and some small amounts of added sugar crept in out of nowhere. Wasn’t me. 60min strength training. 50min cardio. 15,366 steps. 135oz water.
07/26 - 133.5 (+0.7lbs) - Didn’t eat nearly enough calories. Had stomach pain all night and couldn’t eat dinner. Was short around 800cals and it was an intense workout day! 😔 BUT today is a new day and I feel better! 1hr 20min strength training. 1hr cardio. 14,573 steps. 175oz water.
07/27 - 134.1 (+0.6lbs) - Food was horrrible! First day I’ve eaten horrible in a long time! I was just so hungry. I guess my body wanted to make up the 650 calories I didn’t eat yesterday. Problem is I had ice cream and corn nuts 🤦🏻♀️ Its ok though, today is a new day and I’ll do better. Besides I felt so sick from the unhealthy food I don’t think I’ll even want to touch it for awhile. I blame TOM for all of this! LOL I can not be held accountable. Day off strength. 1.5hrs cardio. 14,763 steps. 142oz water.
07/28 - 134.8 (+0.7lbs) - Food wasn’t great. Was under calories though. Might be high due to sodium but not really sure. Day off strength. 2hrs cardio. 12,481 steps. 144oz water.
07/29 - 134.3 (-0.4lbs) - Food was under goal. 55min strength training. 50min cardio. 12,594 steps. 115oz water.
07/30 - 134.8 (+0.4lbs) - Not really sure what’s going on but I am retaining a lot of water it seems. Food was under goal. 65min strength. 50min cardio. 12,575 steps. 115oz water.
07/31 - 134 (-0.8lbs) - Food was under goal but barely. 1hr strength. 1hr cardio. 15,162 steps. 118oz water.6 -

07/25: 319.7 - Uptick continues despite burning 1700 calories the day before. Frustrating.

07/28: 316.3 - Small uptick, due to larger meals while traveling. Not unexpected.
07/29: 315.9
07/30: 316.8 - Uptick here, most likely due to eating later at night than usual.

July 22 - First day doing 1200 calories. Didn't do to bad. A little hungry throughout the day but filled up on water. Went over my goal by 6.
July 23 - Second day at 1200 calories. Way more hungry today. Went over my goal by 640! Weighed in this morning. Disappointed with the number.
July 24 - Day 3 at 1200cal. Did better today. Still not on goal but healthy choices today and only over by a little bit. Scale was down a little this morning. It's a Step in right direction
July 25 - Day 4. Still didn't make 1200, but still only over by a little. I think I need to find a way to eat more filling foods. I don't like protein (only eat chicken) or yogurt and things like that so it's hard to get foods that keep me full longer. But the scale is going down so I'll keep pressing on
July 26 - Day 5. Well last night I ate 700 calories over in Fritos and half a Costco chocolate chip cookie 😭😭 then I felt bad so I went for an hour's walk. Enjoyed the walk though. I know my gain this morning is probably salt from those Fritos so I am trying not to focus on it too much. Here's to another day 🥂
July 27 - Day 6. Yesterday I felt in control. I chose healthy options. I drank seven 24oz bottles of water. I took my kids to the park. I stayed within my points range. It was a great day. And it is working. The scale is moving. Now to keep it going in the downward position for the weekend ❣️
July 28 - Day 7. Woke yesterday in a fantastic, in control mood. Went for a nice long walk while everyone slept. It was a beautiful morning. Came home and had my breakfast and sat down 😔 never should of sat. It completely ruined my day. I got lazy, which in turn made me snacky. I got into the Hawkins Cheezies...😔 Oh well. Fresh day today. I will do better today. I am learning being emotional and now bored and lazy are my triggers. Need to come up with a plan!
July 29 - Day 8. Had a great day yesterday. Went to church with my family, went to the park with my girls and went for a walk with my friend. I hate within range (somewhat only over by 50) and even got to have pasta and a garlic bun!! Finished the night off with a herbal tea. It was great. Woke this morning to a great loss!! Love seeing the scale move in the right direction. Here's to another great day today 💃
July 30 - Day 9. Another great day yesterday. Went to work, came home and sent my husband off to his nightshift then took the kids to the park. Instead of sitting at watching them (they are 10&12) I decided to make laps around the playground. Walked just about 7km !! Woke this morning to a fantastic number on the scale. If I can lose half a pound by Thursday morning that will 5lbs in 10 days 🎆 Today I have to speed clean through the house because we leave for 3 weeks vacation tomorrow morning. Fingers and toes crossed that I keep on track!! Really hoping to be 10lbs lighter by September (mini goal for myself).
July 31 - left today for vacation. Didn't eat right at all. But still only went 52 over. This was a fantastic 10 days!
My first 10 day challenge resulted in a loss of 4.5lbs
I am on vacation now until Aug 21. I will join the 10 day challenge then3 -
GOAL. This month I am planning a non stop dieting month. July 1st-August 1st. So far....16/31

07/22 didn't weigh in. Wasn't feeling well today but at least I had the day off to re group. Just sort of sucks I didn't get to enjoy it much. 17/31
07/23 138.8 long day but a good one. But unfortunately the snacks found me
07/24 138.2 18/31
07/25 138.8 feeling deflated. I ate a couple of chocolates because shark week is approaching but I am getting sort of fed up at my rediculiously slow loss. I want so bad for this loss to restart itself. My active lifestyle should mean something at the end of the day. The lack of results is beginning to bug me. I am even watching my macros so this is mind boggling. This constant watching what I eat is starting to get in my nerves and the small snack moments ending in a gigantic gain is starting to annoy me. Bahhhhh I want to quit (I won't) but I feel like I am working so hard with nothing to show.

So over all this month I managed 8 days off and 23 days on. I think I have finally figured out what to adjust to get these pesky pounds off. It's starting to suck being stuck here for so long. Now that my work has finally hired more staff my crazy hours, crazy eating schedule and late night binges can end.
What I have discovered ...which should be obvious:
I don't eat out. I usually eat out on special occasions or on that off day but I can easily go seven months without eating out...I'm a home cooked meal type of gal... Well these past two months have been different. Because of my crazy 13 hour consecutive day schedule it has been really difficult to not use that pesky Uber eat app to eat with. This is the first time I have downloaded and used the app. I realized even with my healthier options (such as ordering salad rather than fries or lettuce wrap rather than buns..although I do admit when I'm super hunger and my calories are especially low I might opt for the bun) I don't think my body is used to the sodium content or oil content the food tends to have (grilled chicken or not) so even with my calorie budget allowing it and me not eating back more than half my active calories...my body isn't responding well. So this month I am taking the app off my phone and getting back to strict practises that I have been doing for years.4 -
Thanks @IsMollyReallyHungry and congrats on a great round! Enjoy your happy dance!1
