It’s hot so I don’t want to cook inside( which leads to fast junky foods), lots of weekend get togethers, snacks everywhere, late nights..... ugh I thought because weather is nice I would be more active and it would be easier, not so much lol 😂 I for some reason keep forgetting that this is not easy, but have to remember that it is worth it.
Seriously, I always plan non-cooking meals like sandwiches on the really hot weeks because just the thought of turning on the oven or burner breaks me out in a sweat.7 -

That's me and ice cream! Halo Top in -20F weather? *kitten* yeah. Summer is too short here to only enjoy ice cream during that time.4 -

I love that Halo Top. fav is the swirl with 3 different flavors. That is the hardest one to find though!4 -

I don't think I've even heard on that one. Now I want it. I've heard there's a nutella one but I haven't been able to find that either.0 -
I am in the kitchen longer chopping and cutting meat and fruit, staying away from as much process food as possible, no canned food I even make my own tomato sauce! I have lost twenty pounds since June11

Great topic!
- Laying in bed has become less comfortable, Hip bones always feel sore!
- Your breasts are no longer as big as they used to be (this can almost be a plus, but not really)
- Everyone thinks you are on drugs and that's how you lost weight.....
- A little extra skin
- Realizing you have to be in shape for people to actually notice you
+ You feel so much lighter, You can run faster, jump higher and actually perform a push up... or 10
+ Everyone is all of a sudden interested in you
+ Confidence and everything that goes along with it.
+ The feeling of Setting a goal and actually completing it15 -

When I take a picture, I FINALLY see a slim person - that took a while. When I look down at myself, though. Ehhhh. I can't say that I don't think I've made any progress, as there are obvious examples, like how much legs are much slimmer on the inner thigh. However, I just don't really feel slim? I've still got about ten pounds before I'm in a healthy weight range, so it's not like I'm floating near underweight and thinking this - I actually am still overweight - but still. Maybe my eyeballs haven't caught up yet, and the mirror and the pictures are just better at telling the truth.
I think I look really slim from the side but gigantic from the front. I'm in size 8's now so there's no way I'm still fat. Your mind screws with you when it comes to your appearance.4 -

Amen! I cook great chili. Chili out of a can sucks.6 -
I've lost all the fat off the bottom of my butt. I can feel my pelvic bone and it hits any chair i sit in. Losing in the past this never happened. This kind of sucks.6

That sadly it's hard to look through old photos without it becoming an exercise in "look how fat I used to be".
It's nice to be at a healthy weight for the first time ever, but sometimes I would like to be able to look at those photos and just remember how fun that moment was or how wonderful it was to get to experience x, y and z. I know that when I was living it I wasn't just miserable all the time because I was fat. Yeah, I had moments of low self esteem but for the most part I also had a lot of good times. Now it's like I can't look at them without pitying old me for being fat. Almost like rewriting history into this lie of "I can't have been enjoying myself, look how fat I was!"
Has anybody else experienced this?23 -
I need a new office chair. I feel like I am sitting on my bones since I lost my natural cushioning.
I hate buying new clothes. So I am exercising in my 12 year old's old shorts.
At work I can not just squeeze though smaller scuttle holes but maneuver in tighter crawlspaces and attics. I'm so bendy now.
I really didn't need all of that chocolate to live. I appreciate so much more now.
Cheap treats area thing of past. It is quality now, Baby! Or nothing at all.
It just feels so good to in control. Most of the time.13 -
My new leggings are too big (3 bucks at Walmart, so meh, I'll live with them). My brain refuses to believe I actually need to buy smalls now.8

3 bucks?! Amazin’
I just bought underwear in medium, also from Walmart. We’ll see how it goes. I haven’t bought new underwear since starting my weight loss, so it will be weird having some that actually fit.2 -

Clearance Go figure, they only had one pair. Lots of the larger sizes though.
I couldn't stand having baggy underwear, so I bought all new a few times. Just the multi pack of Hanes the stuff until I got maintenance though. It's expensive replacing undies!4 -
I saw a cute pair of pants on the clearance rack today. They were only available in extra large. The only reason I was shopping was because even my extra large yoga pants are starting to droop.0

That although the boobs may shrink to preteen sizes, there is hope! Weight lifting has given me faux cleavage in the form of actual chest muscle. Downside: it’s also given me lats/traps that preclude some tops/bras meant for ladies with my size chest 🙄6

Please, take some of my boob. But you have to take some of my should width too, lol.3 -
That mentioning to anyone that you're going to be extra careful about what you put into your body when you become pregnant warrants them telling you that you need to seek help, and that you're clearly wishing for a sickly baby.
I don't need to shovel an extra 2000 calories into my body per day to have a healthy baby.
I can stay healthy myself, gain the minimum, and still have a healthy baby. I've seen women do it.
Just because I make a joke about how I'd rather have morning sickness than completely gorge myself does not mean I want my future baby to be unhealthy. Was the joke distasteful? I don't personally think so. I could see how someone could be offended by it, but I don't see how it justifies anyone accusing me of wanting my baby to be born with health issues.
I worked my tail off to lose this weight. Forgive me for wanting to remain conscious of my hard-won body while growing a baby, and being careful not to throw all that out the window.
Nothing against women who enjoy their pregnancies, gain weight, and then lose it again. I KNOW I could lose it again. I just don't want to, and I don't think that I should have to.
I am so frustrated right now.18 -

As one of the people who "attacked" you in the other thread - I didn't enjoy my pregnancy. I didn't justify shoveling food into my mouth as enjoyment or eating for two. I justified it because eating was literally the only thing that kept me from puking. And I ate higher calorie higher carb foods because vegetables and many meats literally made me puke.
I also worked my tail off to lose weight before pregnancy and didn't want to regain it. You aren't the only one.
Your so called joke wasn't funny and was in extremely poor taste. It was also concerning given your self reported past with eating disorders. Nobody told you that you have to overeat or get fat or whatever else while pregnant. But saying that you hope to have "severe morning sickness" so don't gain weight isn't the same as saying you plan to monitor your calorie intake and output to ensure you only gain a healthy amount of weight.20 -
My contribution to this thread: my hands shrinking. I know from own previous experience and listening to others that fingers certainly change size and rings can become tight or loose with weight changes but I somehow never translated that into my changing size. But washing my travel mug every day points out to me that my hands are shrinking, making it easier to wash the bottom of the mug without worrying about my hand get stuck and then running around the house like a cat with its head stuck in a jar.14
