Keeping accountable so I don’t gain the weight back. After almost 20 years of ranging between 175 and 188, this is the longest I’ve been able to sustain my weight loss.

08/21 – 141 – Due to a couple medical issues I’ve just discovered, I’m having to restrict a number of my food choices. Most of them involve any type of fat. Since I also have to increase my water intake, it will be interesting to see how my weight fluctuates.
08/22 – 141.5 – I’m definitely trending lower this week than I have for a while.
08/23 – 140.5 – Good start for the weekend.

08/25 - 206.4 - motived to make some changes. Back to MFP, started the day with a nice long 5.8 km walk to get Starbucks with the kids and dog.
08/26 - 204.8 - it’s nice to see how quickly I can bounce back with just a few changes but it’s also a reminder of just what a toll on my body the wrong choices make. Yesterday I was on focus until the end of the day. This morning started the day with a 2.6km walk with the dog. Healthy lunch packed for work - I got this!

I was tired when I got home last night and made a drink and ate a baked potato and salad, but of course I made my husband a a healthy chefs salad. Round 86 was not successful. I am finding it so hard to say no to everything that’s not the best for me. I am tired, exhausted and just want to be lazy. I don’t know how to make myself snap out of this.

8/21 - 157.5 - the catch up from the carb-o-licious Monday. Made it to the pool and could actually get in finally! I’m 6 weeks post-op and my restrictions are lifted. T-minus 2 weeks until I return to work!
8/22 - 156.5 - the turn around in eating makes all the difference. And sticking to it. I was “lazy” yesterday. Swam, ran errands, watched Supernatural on Netflix, did very little cleaning, but I made sure to watch my food and drink my water. I’m hooked on “pork rind chips” for a crunchy snack lately. I can season them with whatever sounds good at the time and crunch away. Today is gym day and some serious cleaning.

8/21 No Scale I'm in St.L this week. Drove down yesterday. I stopped at the gym before the hotel and rode the stationary bike for an hour. I did 13.5 miles. Tomorrow will be two weeks without walking. My leg is definitely better but it still bothers me a little. I'm ready to get back on the trail. The bike is nice enough but I miss being outside and alone. Last night I was the only person on 10 bikes and a dude has to sit right beside me. There were nine other bikes just like mine and 5 or 6 of the other style.
8/22 No Scale I was fine on calories but OH the sodium. I walked over 10K steps yesterday just shopping and not "walking" on the trail. The first time in 2 weeks and my legs were sore and tired. I had really wanted to walk tonight and it looks like the weather might agree. We'll see. Meanwhile, I thought this meme was good for this group. It's how I feel about my weight loss journey.
8/23-8/25 I didn't weigh this weekend. I needed a break. I walked on my favorite trail Friday on the way home. Only two miles but it felt great to be out. Saturday I took the toddler for a walk. I only went a mile but it took us an hour and I carried a 25-pound kid with me for at least a quarter of that mile. The trail I took her on was in the woods, she kept looking around yelling - hello... Hello??? It was hilarious. Yesterday a little more than 3 miles. My leg doesn't feel great. I think I may have to breakdown and go to the doc. I stayed relatively close on calories all three days, though I know sodium was an issue.
8/26 166.2 Ahhhhh That felt great to see this morning. I'm 3 pounds away from a 50-pound loss. I know if I buckled down on I could lose weight faster but I'm afraid of the backlash. A replay of the last time I lost weight - no thank you. I'm going to ride the bike tonight, I think walking 3 of the last 4 days was enough for my leg that hadn't been walked on seriously in two weeks.10 -

I was exhausted yesterday. I didn’t drink enough, cooked for the next 2 weeks I believe (meant to only do one week). Was on my feet running to farmer’s market, Safeway, cooking, and cleaning out some stuff from the apartment all day from 10am to I believe 6pm. Didn’t sit once. Ended up in splurging on chocolate in the evening. It’s like I’ve lost anything called discipline. And the weight reflects it. I have a plan for the week. Now I just have to follow through. 08/22 182 (-2.5) I didn’t think I’d lose anything from yesterday since I went off my meal plan. Had a cheat meal as well as a beer at the Dodger game.
08/23 181 (-1.0) Back on track and holding myself accountable.
08/24 182 +1.0 Birthday celebration at work and I went off the meal plan. Managed to stay within my calories but gained 1 pound. I had a late workout and late dinner. Today will be a better day.
08/25 182 +/- 0 Off to a good start, I went to the gym, cleaned the house, ate clean up until dinner. I had King Taco for dinner, after I tracked the 5 tacos I realized I had to much sodium for the day.
08/26 181 (-1.0) Did very well today, clean eating and 45 minute stationary back ride. Oh yeah, meal prepped for the week too ☺️

08/21: 137.4 lbs - haven't worked out in a few days (self imposed hiatus to heal my shoulder/elbow) and had a salty late night snack last night, not a good choice. Tonight will be better - my late night snacking buddy will be out of town .
08/22: 136.0 lbs - hmmm, barely ate yesterday so this will probably go back up but pretty cool to see this number. I did work out just a little last night but am back to taking time off for a couple more days. Hoping my neck/shoulder/elbow is all better before my tournament this Sunday. No LNS yesterday.
08/23: 135.6 lbs - maybe a week of not working out is just what my body needed. Planning to work out tomorrow and then I’ve got a big tournament Sunday, will see how the scale responds.
08/24: 135.6 lbs - two days in a row at this number. Nice. Worked out just a couple hours in the sun, took it easy. Have a dinner out with friends tonight, will try to stay on track.
08/25: DNW, up and out too early. Had a pickleball tournament about an hour away, we came in second. Again. Almost as frustrating as trying to lose weight .
08/26: 137.2 lbs - not surprised, the last few days caught up with me and I was craving salt yesterday. Besides, this is the weight my body likes to be at, spent the last 2 months moving back and forth from this number. Just going to keep moving forward with good choices, they will pay off eventually. Maybe I need to do a fast day or something?

08/26 - 131.6 I was super tempted to eat around midnight last night, I have a hard time falling asleep, but held out, and it paid off!

08/25 …..196.4 ….. S..L..O..W.. Progress. But progress is progress right? A great day yesterday. Diet on point & exercise/extra movement outside of norm was great. Yesterday’s stats: 1124 Calories In / 2891 Calories Out. 27 Net Carbs. 17,185 Total Steps & 7.27 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 4 hours & 20 minutes which was disappointing. I took my moderately paced evening walk for 54 minutes, did 40 minutes of light cabin cleaning, 25 minutes of yard work / painting and I did 16 minutes of low-impact aerobics. Total extra calorie burn was 633. Sundays are always busy for me so I should have no problem getting my steps in. Exercise will be another story but I’ll fit in what I can. Travel tomorrow so I’m gearing up to be mindful.
08/26 …..193.0 ….. Travel Day. I’m hoping upon Hope that this lower weight today will help keep me on track & making good choices during travel. Today’s goal: NO bingeing or thinking its okay to gorge when I get home, just because I’ve splurged a little while restaurant dining for lunch! Yesterdays stats were very good & reflected on the scale: 1206 Calories In / 2756 Calories Out. 25 Net Carbs. 15,162 Total Steps & 6.42 Total Miles. 11/13 Fitbit Step Hours (a more relaxing day concerning exercise) & I slept 6 hours & 31 Glorious minutes but was up a lot peeing out that weight drop. I walked moderate pace for 45 minutes & I did 118 minutes of rigorous tourist cabin cleaning. Total extra burn was 808. Lots of sitting today while traveling expected so getting my steps in may be difficult. If I’m up to it, I may dance later.
