08/27 - DNW Just got back from vacation with the BF in Arizona. I've never been and he's there for training so I hopped on a plane and went to visit him and explore. So needed but it really is awful coming back. Especially coming back to his house and he's not there. It was weird being at his place without him before my vacation but it hit me so hard walking in after I flew back yesterday. I may not weigh this round just so my body can adjust back from jet lag, lack of water (if I wasn't flying, I was driving), and inability to make food, thus having to eat out every meal. Oh and this cold! It was triple digits there for a full weekend and I come back to wake up this morning to 63 degrees! Half of what I experienced this weekend. Waaaah. I need to move someplace perpetually warm. At least it was nice enough to swim at 10pm there! Got good exercise in that

Joining late. Fell off the wagon and been gaining steadily to my new highest 129 lbs. getting conscious of my habits and focusing closely now.

08/24 -126.6 lbs : stuck to no drinking on Fri night as well as no takeout. Ended up munching junk to curb the cravings. Proud of it though. Need to find good substitute activities for Fri. I like to have an awesome Fri after week, anyhing less is depressing.
08/25 - 126.6 lbs : logged everything I ate on Sat. Cooked special meals but kept it healthy. Declined suggestion to drink with good logic.

8/21: 296.8 A nice loss to start the round. I’m slowly getting back into my routine and was able to get in some activity yesterday.

8/23: 296.4 I had a late dinner and slept poorly thanks to my continued cold. But I’m on track with calories and this blip will be short lived.
8/24: 298.8 All water weight. I ate closer to maintenance yesterday and it was a high carb day.

08/21: 311.9 lbs (+0.4) … small uptick. Carby dinner last night (pizza) was probably a major factor in this. Not concerned about it at all.

08/25: 308.5 lbs (-2.3) … wow. Eating closer to my budget but walked around all day on Saturday, took kiddo to the zoo.
08/26: 307.8 lbs (-0.7) … !!! I was almost certain the scale was going to show an uptick this morning. I ate a fairly large sized dinner pretty late. Repeated Couch to 5k Week 2 Day 3 this morning and it went really well. No pain and the intervals were much easier than my last run. I think I’m ready to move on. Great way to start off the week!

Just under 1800 calories in, burned a good deal of them between a morning run and 10,000 steps throughout the day. It’ll pass… and this weight is still under my goal for this round.

8/21 No Scale I'm in St.L this week. Drove down yesterday. I stopped at the gym before the hotel and rode the stationary bike for an hour. I did 13.5 miles. Tomorrow will be two weeks without walking. My leg is definitely better but it still bothers me a little. I'm ready to get back on the trail. The bike is nice enough but I miss being outside and alone. Last night I was the only person on 10 bikes and a dude has to sit right beside me. There were nine other bikes just like mine and 5 or 6 of the other style.
8/22 No Scale I was fine on calories but OH the sodium. I walked over 10K steps yesterday just shopping and not "walking" on the trail. The first time in 2 weeks and my legs were sore and tired. I had really wanted to walk tonight and it looks like the weather might agree. We'll see. Meanwhile, I thought this meme was good for this group. It's how I feel about my weight loss journey.
8/23-8/25 I didn't weigh this weekend. I needed a break. I walked on my favorite trail Friday on the way home. Only two miles but it felt great to be out. Saturday I took the toddler for a walk. I only went a mile but it took us an hour and I carried a 25-pound kid with me for at least a quarter of that mile. The trail I took her on was in the woods, she kept looking around yelling - hello... Hello??? It was hilarious. Yesterday a little more than 3 miles. My leg doesn't feel great. I think I may have to breakdown and go to the doc. I stayed relatively close on calories all three days, though I know sodium was an issue.
8/26 166.2 Ahhhhh That felt great to see this morning. I'm 3 pounds away from a 50-pound loss. I know if I buckled down on I could lose weight faster but I'm afraid of the backlash. A replay of the last time I lost weight - no thank you. I'm going to ride the bike tonight, I think walking 3 of the last 4 days was enough for my leg that hadn't been walked on seriously in two weeks.

08/26 - 222.4 - Yay! Total surprise, but not really. I've been fairly good with meeting my food goals. - Did not meet my step goals yesterday despite all the housework I did.

I was exhausted yesterday. I didn’t drink enough, cooked for the next 2 weeks I believe (meant to only do one week). Was on my feet running to farmer’s market, Safeway, cooking, and cleaning out some stuff from the apartment all day from 10am to I believe 6pm. Didn’t sit once. Ended up in splurging on chocolate in the evening. It’s like I’ve lost anything called discipline. And the weight reflects it. I have a plan for the week. Now I just have to follow through. It hasn’t been my biggest accomplishment this past month. Let’s see what happens.

Well, on of yesterday’s 2.4lbs gone. I wasn’t able to skip dinner, so had some cheese with cold cuts. I managed an 18h fast, and I stopped at 7 instead of 8. It was a struggle at 8 though. Brain hunger set in. I had only had 800cals, but it was all protein, some fat, and 35g of carbs (half of it from vitamin gummies). I really wasn’t hungry as a glass of water removed all my hunger pains. Today I’m aiming at another 18h fast, I have nothing planned for dinner tonight as I’ll be going out with mom and dad for lunch. I need to get back to my ADF as that is the only time I’ve constantly lost weight.

08/21 138.4, difficult boxing class yesterday but made it through. Love that there are classes I can finish now that I would have been struggling with before. Happy hour after work today so will try to bank some calories for that.
08/22 138.4, ended up eating dinner really late (9:45pm) so happy to see this number. Back to normal today with all meals prepped at home. Hoping to combat any lingering weight gain from yesterday.
08/23 138, back to my lowest weight this weight loss journey and matches a five year low. 65.7% of the way to my goal so hoping to see 2/3rds by the end of the month. Going to food truck meetup tonight so weight might be up a bit tomorrow for sodium, but will keep my calories in check.
08/24 138, ate well yesterday, but went way over today. I had a milkshake and had no idea how many calories are in them! Feel terrible both physically (body is not very used to that food anymore) and about stalling this week’s progress for a while. Tomorrow is another day and keep learning that some foods are deceptively high calories.
08/25 138.9, slight blip, but will hopefully will be going back down as we end the round
08/26 138.3, ready to tackle the week and end this round below 138
08/27 138, took a barre class yesterday and will do elliptical today. I want to work up to being able to do 4-5 of those classes a week, but still get pretty sore so can’t work out the same muscle groups 2 days in a row.

08/22 207.0 I have averaged a little over 70 minutes of exercise everyday for the last 3 days. I may take today off. For some reason my treadmill cut off all by itself, I'm thinking power surge. It's a wonder I didn't fall flat on my face. lol I think I tweaked my back it is super sore.

8/26-171-My 89 year old FIL broke his hip a couple of days ago. We’ve spent lots of time sitting at the hospital. I was tired when I got home last night and made a drink and ate a baked potato and salad, but of course I made my husband a a healthy chefs salad. This morning I will go on my 7 mile walk before I head to the hospital. Have a good week everyone! ☕️😊
8/27-170-Things are getting back to “normal “. I can get a big walk in today and also get many other neglected things done and just stop by the hospital for a visit. My MIL is 15 years younger than my FIL (1st wife 😊) and she takes great care of him. My FIL is on the mend and it will just take time. It’s only Tuesday!!!12 -

08/21 - 223.0 Wednesday - Ate well, but a few too many sugar-free candies
08/22 - 222.6 Thursday - Ate Well, played baseball, no late night snacking
08/23 - 221.6 Friday - Feeling tired.
08/24 - 219.6 Saturday- A great start to weekend with lots of temptations ahead
08/25 - 219.8 Sunday - Not too bad. Friends came over for a BBQ and drinks Saturday night but I was active cleaning and weeding in the morning, and saved extra calories for the evening. Had approx. maintenance level of calories but more carbs than I should have. Vodka Sodas and Splenda Mojitos.
08/26 - 221.8 Monday - Back where I was on Friday morning. I attended a catered dinner event Sunday night so I'm pretty sure this is just some water weight from hidden salt/carbs and most will be gone by tomorrow. I tracked and I should have had a small calorie deficit for the day. No alcohol.
08/27 - 220.0 Tuesday - Back on track! Low-carb eating yesterday helped that weekend water weight disappear.

08/25 - 132.1 feeling good, hit my calories, and drank lots of water and the scale was good back to me.
08/26 - 131.6 I was super tempted to eat around midnight last night, I have a hard time falling asleep, but held out, and it paid off!
08/27 - 131.6 had drinks with my hubby last night and a gyro for dinner. I’m surprised I didn’t see a spike, but I’ll take it. Today is going to be a lower cal day. Got a good upper body weight session in.

8/21 - 157.5 - the catch up from the carb-o-licious Monday. Made it to the pool and could actually get in finally! I’m 6 weeks post-op and my restrictions are lifted. T-minus 2 weeks until I return to work!
8/22 - 156.5 - the turn around in eating makes all the difference. And sticking to it. I was “lazy” yesterday. Swam, ran errands, watched Supernatural on Netflix, did very little cleaning, but I made sure to watch my food and drink my water. I’m hooked on “pork rind chips” for a crunchy snack lately. I can season them with whatever sounds good at the time and crunch away. Today is gym day and some serious cleaning.
8/23 - 157.5 - I’m sure the weight is water retention. I kicked my own booty in the gym yesterday!
8/24 - 158 - too many carbs, sore muscles from more gym time yesterday. Need to check myself and chug my water.

8/26 - 158 - I know what I’m doing but not controlling myself at all. I have got to get myself together! I will finish this round strong! Even if it feels like it’s going to kill me.
8/27 - 157 - my weight is down, and so are my emotions, so I expect this to change. I’m completely out of ketosis. It’s like watching a cruise ship hit the dock. I see myself spiraling. I go back to work next week and I need to be in control by then. I’m going to fast starting today. Egg fast, anyone?10
