Yay! Starting the month at 227.2 and hopefully dropping to 219 by end of September.
Really gotta work on getting my water intake up. I hardly drink at all during the day.

2. Eat under 2000 calories per day

August was a very successful month for me. My goal was only to lose 5lbs, and I somehow lost 10! So that was a big victory. I stayed on my plans very well, with only maybe 3ish days of deviating a little. September might be a little tougher, as itโs my birthday month, along with a few other things, but weโll see. I would LOVE to hit onederland by the end of the month, but Iโm just setting my goal to be 202.6. The next 5lbs at a time. Good luck everyone! We got this!10 -

For September I am going to measure waist, arms, hips ect tomorrow and then again at the end of September to see the different rather than the scale alone. Trying for a 10lb loss this month which I can do if I track everyday and stick to calories in.
I am starting September with a 10k trail run tomorrow morning and am super nervous but I figure its a good healthy start to the month!

I went on vacation for the month of June and it took me until now to get back in the groove. September shall be my month to get my weight moving at a nice pace again.
September goals:
1. Lose 6 pounds
2. Walk a minimum of 8000 steps every day except Sunday
3. Strength training twice a week ( just getting back into this)
4. Be mindful of my water intake10 -
@Terytha -- I am SO with you with the water intake.
This month I'm trying to replace diet pop with water (it just makes sense!)
Dropping 6 pounds would be a good goal... & same with not self-sabotaging. I definitely need healthier coping mechanisms when it comes to stress.
Hoping to find some sort of balance of self care that also incorporates exercise.

Just starting out, again. Using the Beck Diet Solution book to try to focus on my thought processes and not just white knuckle this until I break.

New to MFP, was using WW, but someone mentioned MFP on WW so checked it out and this is working a whole lot better for me. Calorie counting just makes sense!

Good point on the water, I am updating my goals to:
1. Run at least 5 times (ran this morning)
2. Eat under 2000 calories per day (1250 yesterday)
3. Avoid sweets, cakes and biscuits six days of the week (1 day done so far)
4. Drink alcohol a maximum of twice (got a music festival tomorrow, plus a party, so no others allowed!) (None yesterday)
5. Drink eight glasses of water a day - think this works out as about 14 cups. Didn't manage it yesterday, oh well!
@angiclarke enjoy the run! I am doing a bridge to 10k program and love it. Wish there were more trails near me though.6 -

Starting Weight: 278
Current Weight: Somewhere around 228 (I usually weigh Monday mornings just for the consistency of when I wake up)
Goal Weight: Set at 170, though the more I think about it the more I'm using this as a "This is a technically healthy weight so I'm going to use it as an evaluation point of where to go from here"
September's goal is to get to 220, or to break the barrier at 219ish. Because I have so much weight to lose, I like breaking my goals up smaller and groups like this help me look at it as just ten pounds at a time.6 -

My aim really is to be healthy - so over the last few months I've been upping the veggies and watching my macros, trying to cut out the processed rubbish. Also trying to get into exercise - found a few circuits online that I'm starting to get the hang of (and discovering muscles that hurt like heck!)

Cut back on alcohol - it doesn't like me, and the hangovers are getting more hassle than they're worth!5 -

September goals:
More walking! Kids had a lot of appointments last week so I only made it for one long walk (Iโm trying to go after they get on the bus before it gets too hot)
Get physical therapy. I have an old knee injury (severed my ACL 8 years ago in October) and over the years orthos have basically shrugged and said nothing can be done because Iโm not an athlete ๐. Current ortho has offered PT in the hopes that strengthening will help stabilize. Iโd like stability backโI was very active before the injury and have slowly lost that mobility until I can barely make it through a grocery trip ๐ญ
Currently at 291, would like to see 285 at Septemberโs end4 -
