09/10: 136.8, have dinner with a friend tonight and a tennis lesson so hopefully the additional exercise of a lesson will combat some of the eating out aspect of the day.
09/11: 136.6, woke up with a dry throat so have a feeling I picked something up from my niece when I babysat her. Today have a family members birthday dinner out at a restaurant I really love, but might just go with soup to better my odds of getting well. Officially have a 25.9 BMI so only .9 to healthy. I started in the 32s I believe so what a difference 10 months is.

09/10 121.9 Fast start to the round! A 1.3 drop is likely a water whoosh (particularly after the drops in last round at the end), so expecting weight tomorrow will be back up! (will enjoy the drop for now LOL) Ate lunch out and tried to guesstimate, and may end up being over for the day on calories. Dinner tonight was from SunBasket (which provides total macros, but not for the ingredients) - I did not use all of the dressing/oil so that may balance everything out in the end! Good day on exercise.
09/11 122.6 up as predicted, but really on track and part of my typical weight loss pattern. Girl Power this morning and spin for cardio later in the day. Having pasta tonight so need to preplan carbs and fat for the day to try to stay on track.

09/10: 308.2 lbs (+0.4) … the smallish uptick continues. Nothing that I’m worried about. I’m starting to feel some real benefits to my running… since just yesterday I’ve noticed my walking pace has increased a decent amount without a corresponding increase in effort. Not too long ago it felt like a chore just walking around…
09/11: 307.2 lbs (-1.0) … some recovery. Back on the right side of zero for this round again. Completed Couch to 5k Week 4 Day 3 this morning.

Round 88 Loss - 4.0lbs
SW 09/09 204.0
GW 09/19 202.0
This round might be tough. I am on my own for the next couple of weeks. In the past I have gone out and bought a big bag of “junk” and perched on the couch reading books and watching TV. This time...I already have several meals pre-cooked and fruit in the house. I also am planning to start back working out...nothing to strenuous but I have been fairly sedentary for the last two years after some health issues. It is time to no longer use that excuse to sit on my butt so much!

This quote has been my driving force this month...
It is a shame for a woman to grow old without ever seeing the strength and beauty of which her body is capable. - Author Unknown
I don't want to live whatever time I have left on this earth not having experienced what I am capable of doing. I don't want to make the excuses..."I am too old"..."I am not healthy enough"..."I am too fat"..."I am not smart enough"...etc...etc. There might be valid reasons why I can't do something but there should never be excuses...only choices.

09/09 …..193.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
09/10 …..193.6 ….. Stubborn Fat! That’s okay, I can outlast this stare-down competition! I prep cooked a couple of meals yesterday & may do more of another recipe today to help on the grab & go days here at the cabins. I have been reading over my food logging and find that I do love my keto/low-carb friendly recipes and foods, but sometimes a little too much. Often the quantities/portion sizes are a bit too big. I will have to work on that. I am proud, however, that I have learned this past year to eat more carb friendly varieties of foods & recipes. Portioning & freezing ahead of time does help. Yesterday’s stats: 1994 Calories In / 2666 Calories burned. 88 Carbs. 17,432 Total Steps & 7.38 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 4 hours & 3 minutes but woke up feeling okay. I took a riverside hike including some extra hills for 58 minutes, I took a walk at slow pace with neighbors dog for 27 minutes, I did some yard work & transplanting for 65 minutes and I did some misc light cleaning in a cabin & the house for about 40 minutes. Total extra calorie burn 918. I should not have snuck back into my keto casserole last night as it cooled in preparation for the freezer! Lesson learned. Stall explained.
09/11 …..193.6 ….. Wow! Must be a whoosh coming on soon! Maybe in the morning before I leave for my travels I’ll see a change. Yesterday’s stats: 1247 Calories In / 2625 Calories burned. 48 Net Carbs. 16,053 Total Steps & 6.79 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 3 hours & 46 minutes and woke up wanting more but needed to get busy. Yesterday I walked at a pretty brisk pace for 45 minutes, Did light cabin & house cleaning for 36 minutes & I danced last night for 20 minutes. Sample song in the country genre was “Nobody to blame” by Chris Stapleton. Total extra calorie burn from activities was 610.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I was here previously long-term and had a LOT of success. And the reason it's so helpful is that we have this shared experience.

9/10: 223.8 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). No change is a good thing. Feeling a little bloated and/or "off" this morning. Not sure what it is, but I know my wife is sick or getting sick. I probably did not make good food choices yesterday, but I stayed within my calorie goal. EDIT: In the interest of being completely accountable, I have to acknowledge that I am not feeling particulary motivated today. I was going to just ignore it (I didn't write about it in my first draft of my post), but I really don't want to "get lost" again. I need to be here, probably more on my bad days than my good.
9/11: 224.2 (+0.4)/18.9 (0.0). I'm going to chalk up this weigh-in to the mood I started out with yesterday. I think I recovered relatively well as the day went by, and I didn't make any horrible food choices (except the "later" night coconut paleta). I kind of needed that paleta; it was delicious! My wife and I will be headed to the gym tonight (she is feeling better @mrs_sutsie ). I'm mostly feeling better, too. The gym means I can get a salad tonight from Cook's Tortas, which is always an amazing experience (you know what I'm talking about @Anlaing016 ).

My birthday and TOM will happen in this round so I am expecting pretty much the same results, but hopefully I can get my healthy/low calorie eating skills back on track. Not really looking to lose seeing as I will probably stall for 5-6 days and have 2 restaurant meals out for my bday. Thought about not posting at all this round, but then I really would go off the deep end and I don't want that to happen. So I am staying here, posting, and being accountable for my actions.

09/10 - 146.5 up a bit more than I expected this morning, but not mad about it. When I started this in July of 2018 at almost 180 pounds, one of my only goals was to be in a healthy BMI and to feel better about myself when I turned 40. I have 5 amazing kids (ages 20 to11 years old), a wonderful husband, and have so much to be thankful for in my life, but I did not like what I saw in the mirror a year ago. I have not reached my ultimate goal of 135 (which has been changed multiple times in the last couple of months), but am very happy with my progress so far. I have lost around 35 pounds and am currently working on my last 10. Maybe I will be there for my 41st birthday next year, lol. Thank you everybody who has supported me and helped me along the way with my good and bad days. Happy 40th bday to me!!!!

9/11 179 (.5) It appears that working out more is helping with the scale. I’ve added cardio to my weekly workouts and I’m starting to see a difference. I hope my energy levels can stay up and can keep it up.
I hate how much doing even 20 minutes of cardio helps me with weight loss. Until I get on the basketball court, and I recognize that it also helps with my stamina when I play. It maybe even helps a little bit with my knee pain (shh... because I hate it so much!).

@deepwoodslady Don't jinx yourself with calling out a WHOOSH! Sometimes it scares them away! The best ones come when you absolutely don't expect it. Just my humble opinion ;-)6
