9/20 191.4 lbs 5h40m/70/10:25pm - f*cking Cecil. Up way too early, but there is zero chance of getting back to sleep now. Had a good workout yesterday, good food day, should see loss, not gain, but the sleep issue always has an impact. Long day today... hoping for a good one.

09/20 191.4 (-0.4) did my workout and 15K steps. Sticking to this dr prescribed diet which is fairly close to keto but not as much saturated fat. In moderate ketosis this am. Probably going to drop quickly this week due to water weight.
09/21 191.6 (+0.2) 17 K steps and on plan. Tired today so didn't get to my workout.
09/22 Away. Not my scale. May weigh on another scale for comparison.
09/23 193.8 (+2.2) not surprising to have the jump. Ate off plan this weekend a bit and not very active.
09/24 191.4(-2.4) ok so the weekend blip is over. Haven't started working out again since last week so going to get to it today. Feeling skinnier though! Did my measurements and gave lost 17" in the last 6 weeks (2 rounds if 21 day fix). It's so easy to lose focus and give up too soon. I really want to learn from these last 6 weeks that even if it's not perfect, progress will still happen over time.

09/20 -193.8lbs- Starting off this round celebrating a 10lb loss since I started back on my journey!
09/21 -193.4lbs- No planned exercise. Still watching the calories though.
09/22 -193lbs- Got in some slow walking and house work yesterday. Also found out that it is really challenging to eat out and stay within calories!
09/23 -192.8lbs- Weekend went pretty well. On to Monday and a little meal planning. I don't love meal planning but I have got to stick with it.
09/24 -192.8lbs- No exercise yesterday except housework. My base calories without exercise is 1200...not easy to stick to but I should be back to walking soon. I can always find some work to do around here until then!

Goal... Less than I started
09/20 61.85kg scale still can't decide between 61.7 and 62.0 so I chose the middle. Which makes me happy! Did a nice 5km run this morning.
09/21 61.6kg 💃🏽and the scale wasn't being weird so I'm going to take it and enjoy! Was out till 1am with my bestie who likes a drink or 10 😁 but I stuck to my water. A late dinner and only 4 hours sleep but I'm raring to go today. Salad lunch out, barbershop and football (soccer that is 😉) watching planned.
09/22 61.7 kg. No problem here. Went over my calories but stayed in deficit. Had a great day.
09/23 62.1kg - 61.8 kg with the scale being weird again... not unexpected as I was over calories again but still in deficit. Ran 3km and now will be very mindful of eating.
09/24 61.5kg after the gym which is a new low! 4.5 ish kg {10lbs} to go... Or 31st December. I'm going into maintenance at whichever I hit 1st!

OK - this is going to be my round! Really not got back into it all since my holiday even though it was back in August! Enough of the "not too bad" and "OK" - time for some "YEESSS" and to get back to my pre-holiday weight of 133lb - so 5lb away from that which I would love to see gone this round but in reality over the next 2 rounds would be good. So aiming for a 2lb loss this round!
Doing my (walking) Marathon on Saturday night (start at 730pm so will finish around 4am Sunday) which is going to mess with my weekend food (carbs here I come!) and weekend weigh ins but at least its at the start of this round!

09/24 - 139.7lb (+1.0lb) First weigh in since I successfully completed the charity night marathon on Saturday night. Took 9 hours and we finished at 4am and a total of 65,000 steps! Was a great night! Weigh in is still probably excess water weight from that - ate way way way more carbs than usual in the day or so before and on the night itself plus drinking loads of water during and since so not concerned. Will no doubt take a few days for my body to properly recover but I am back to eating normally and drinking plenty of water and green tea and back to the gym tonight.

10 days. Focus on doing this for 10 days. Don't give up. If you can't afford the latest diet fad, workout clothes, fitted running shoes or whatever, don't let that stop you! Eat a little less, buy food that is a little more healthy than normal, walk around your house, find a workout video online (Fitness Blender is great) take baby steps...they will add up and start you on the path to a new healthier life. You are worth the effort!12

09/20 135.3 I have an early meeting today to prep for so weighing three hours before I usually do so I think this number is probably higher than usual, which I’m not mad about! Should be a good day.
09/21 135.0, going to a beach yoga class and then just having a day at the house catching up on chores. I will be meal prepping some for next week to get ahead a bit.
09/22 134.8, New low and on the other side of 135. I’m going to the gym for 50 minutes class today and have dinner at a Mexican restaurant so might be up over the next few days but will really focus on water to combat the sodium/sunburn.
09/23 134.6, typical Monday with lunch leftovers from Friday, tennis lesson after work, and shrimp salad for dinner.

09/20: 307.1 lbs (+4.0) … ugh. I’m used to the idea that fluctuations are normal and to be expected, but it’s still a kick to the gut each time it happens. Especially when it’s a bigger one like this.
09/21: 307.8 lbs (+0.7) … apparently yesterday wasn’t high enough of a water weight gain.
09/22: 304.8 lbs (-3.0) … some uptick recovery, but still up a decent chunk over my start weight for this round. Hopefully I’ll continue seeing a downward trend tomorrow. Completed Couch to 5k Week 6 Day 1 this morning.

09/24: 303.0 lbs (-1.7) … whew, what a relief. A new low, if only by .1 lb, is very welcome after a ~5 lb uptick in weight! Glad to be on the correct side of zero for this challenge now. Completed Couch to 5k Week 6 Day 2 this morning… the last workout with walking intervals in the program. I was feeling good, so I passed on the walking in the middle and turned it into a 23 minute jog instead.

Round 89 wasn’t any better than the last few rounds. I’m going to keep joining though and keep trying. I need to get my diet under control and start doing some form of exercise again. I think I need to update my excel sheet and start tracking my numbers again that was motivating me to see the trends going down.

Still painting! I just finished my office/studio/woman cave in a gorgeous light/medium lilac. It was paper bag tan before. I am not a dark tan person unless it’s from being outside. Omg, what a difference! Now to reassemble the room. I also painted the door from the kitchen to the laundry room an interesting bright pink and wowser! Nice happy pop of color. The laundry is newly yellow, and the door from there to the garage is bright turquoise. I think my years on the NC coast are showing. All of which is to say that a happy-colored environment makes me happier and less likely to comfort eat. Let the painting continue! Do others of you find that colors in your environment affect your mood and behavior? Oh, and I’m having a group of friends (women) over for a potluck tomorrow to celebrate my new-this-summer garden. Still haven’t conquered the evening snack monster but I did resist the mid-afternoon urge yesterday. I pulled weeds instead. I went 3 years not sabotaging myself so I don’t understand why I’m finding this so hard now. I can’t believe I’ve gained 30 pounds since last fall. Sigh. Yesterday was a good day. This evening I’m going to a monthly potluck with a women’s group I belong to, so I’ll have to be on my guard. People do bring lots of healthy offerings, but there are also always lots of sweets. My strategy is to pick one and have one bite. I’m taking a salad of baby kale with quinoa, chickpeas, tomatoes, peppers, and a whisper of lemon vinaigrette, so I can always take a decent serving of that! 9/22 163.6 Not sure what’s up with this but I’m happy! I restarted this journey at 213... I’m down 50 pounds! I carried my 26-pound niece around yesterday until I thought my arms would fall off. (Toddlers have bad days and I spoil her- don’t judge) But I use to carry twice that all the time.
9/23 164.7 I knew yesterday was an anomaly. That's ok, I'll see that weight for real soon enough. I really was bad about exercise last week and over the weekend. I did housework and yard work but no actual gym time or walking. My leg is definitely better but I'm waiting for the two weeks the doc suggested. So I'm off to the gym after work for a little bike ride. IT has reignited my desire to ride a real bike more. If I haven't said it lately I love this challenge! Terrific Tuesday to everyone. I was down 1.6 lbs this morning, which I am very happy. I increased my water, ho and I had a sports massages yesterday... today I feel like a combination of a good workout and getting pummeled by an MMA fighter. lol.
Today is Taco Tuesday in the Canteen... this is hard for me, as I LOVE taco's. I did a little over 3 miles this morning and felt great. Looking forward to a great day... and I hope and wish the same for everyone here.

09/20 294.4 Ah the after weight training, high activity, high sodium, high stress bounce. I was on track with my calories despite my husband bringing home dinner, but I weighed out what was within my calorie goals.
09/21 295.0 Two words, Japanese food. So much tasty sodium filled foods. I was under calories, but oh the sodium. I don’t expect to see a drop until Tuesday because today I’m doing maintenance calories today for my son’s birthday.
09/22 296.8 My son had a nice birthday, but I overate. Thankfully I have nothing else until my anniversary next month. I should see most if not all of the weekend gain gone in a few days as most if not all of it is from sodium.
09/23 294.4 Hopefully I’ll be back down to the round start tomorrow. I’m so sore this morning because I bought a kettlebell weight yesterday and did a workout. My husband has agreed that we need to stop eating out on the weekends. It’s something that has been a little bit of an issue since the new job.

I love you ?electrolytes. I felt 80% of my normal yesterday. Got a few things accomplished. I did not reach 128 ozs of water yesterday, because I was running more errands. Today, I will.
9/21 - 185.2 - IF/21hrs/Meal times~5pm, 7pm. 18g carbs. Did not drink enough water yesterday, but I managed to get in all of my electrolytes. Took a "littles" walk with my Great Niece ? She likes to walk and I could walk her speed without too much difficulty. My hip joints and muscles are still somewhat stiff and painful, but I've got to move! Using a heating pad at night has been beneficial. Ketones detected today. Edging my way back into ketosis.
9/22 - 185.6? (183.6?) - Every once in a while my scale fuctuates wildly. I'll go with the high number. I didn't sleep that well last night and sipped water throughout. IF/19.5hrs. 09/23- 208.2: Yeah I messed up. My weight stayed the same for Saturday which was great and then that day I went to my boyfriends. Didn't really eat much or anything bad and even had a healthy meal at his house. We went to the fair that night and I had a beer, some wine, and a couple small fried things. The following day at his house I had a healthy breakfast and we did a lot of walking. I might have messed up during dinner at my house last night. I'm so mad because I eat healthy all week and really push myself, but as soon as it's the weekend it turns into cheat days and "it's ok you've been working so hard." No! I want to stop doing that. I'm sick of working hard all week and then gaining it all back over the weekend. I'm more than my starting weight for this round and I really feel so defeated when this happens. Think I just have to cut back on going out or feeling pressured into having foods I shouldn't
09/24- 206.2: Woohoo, going back down! So happy I pushed myself yesterday. Ate healthy all day, made some baked salmon with veggies for dinner and went to the gym last night. Didn't have as much water as I wanted to, but still had a decent amount. I also gave my bf crap and told him no more cheat days and how I can't keep falling off the wagon every time, so he's on board. And we've also been pushing each other to go to the gym, so I'm really thankful for that. Hope to keep this going

09/23 …..193.0 ….. I had a PCP doctor appointment today. I was hoping for another pound (or more off) but scale stuck on 193 (for now). Yesterday’s stats: 1470 In / 3034 Calories Out. 47 Net Carbs. 19,152 Total Steps & 8.1 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 47 minutes waking up tired. Sunday is cabin cleaning day. I took a short 13 minute walk around property and I rigorously cleaned tourist cabins for 168 minutes. Total extra calorie burn 916.
09/24 …..192.2 ….. Finally the drop on the scale I’ve been expecting. I had another serious sugar drop last night. 3rd day in a row. The sudden ravenous hunger is the first warning sign as my body tries to up my carbs to be converted into glucose. I managed it very well again and didn’t let it get the better of me. Sometimes I can do it calmly, sometimes it is more of an emergency/lack of calm control. I will continue to monitor in case I need to be removed from more T2D medication as I move closer to the remission I hope for. The next two days are filled with travel and because I will need to eat (and keep my glucose up) I will do my best to make decent yet enjoyable choices while still being mindful of my glucose. Funny, when I weighed 253 it was always high sugar. Now that I’ve lost weight, it always drops too low now. That, my friends is T2D on the mend! Yesterday’s stats: 1334 Calories In / 2737 Calories Out. 21 Net Carbs. 17,397 Total Steps & 7.36 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours (lost an hour at my dr. appt) and I slept 4 hours & 19 minutes. I went to the school & walked 101 minutes at about 3.0 mph (my walking partner couldn’t go so I went alone) and I did low-impact aerobics for 41 minutes. My knees continue to bother me pretty badly sometimes, but I press on.
