JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 90 (round 22 for me ) I'm in for another round, tomorrow I will be back home and weighing in on my own scales! After a brilliant holiday. Just 4 weeks to go before our cheeky pre-Brexit break on The Algarve, must get these extra ponds off for then !

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

09/21 137.2 – 8.55 miles walked yesterday, arrived back home at 3.30 am.; very minimal sleep & low quality dozing on the 'plane. Have 4 weeks to get rid of this holiday weight before we fly off for our next holiday! New day today!
09/22 135.6 – yes! That's what happens to holiday weight when I get back home & stop having a glass of wine with every meal!! 10 miles walked yesterday including 3 hours of intense dancing last night – brilliant!
09/23 134.8 – yes! another half a pound off. 5.5 miles walked yesterday & a really good food day
09/24 133.6 – so pleased the holiday weight is coming off quickly. 8.55 miles walked yesterday.
09/25 134.2 – 8.25 miles yesterday, CI under CO so guessing just a normal fluctuation.

09/27 134.2 – 3.64 miles walked yesterday, or should I say chasing after my 18 month old grandson!!
09/28 135.6 – sigh! My own fault entirely – it was the Macmillan's big coffee morning here yesterday, I binged on cake . I know it's a good cause, but I could have donated the same and just had one cake; I ate there and brought some home for the family and ate them too before they got home, not only that – I seem to remember me saying exactly the same thing last year – will I ever learn ???? 9.56 miles walked yesterday, think I need to do 29 or more to compensate for the calories I consumed!!! Determined to have perfect day today.

09/29 135 – 9.78 miles walked, all macros in green and calories out well outnumbered by calories in, just didn't show up on the scales as well as Friday's binge did yesterday !!! (Sigh)

9/20 - 184.2 - IF/18.5hrs/Meal times~2:30, 8pm. 17g carbs.
I love you ?electrolytes. I felt 80% of my normal yesterday. Got a few things accomplished. I did not reach 128 ozs of water yesterday, because I was running more errands. Today, I will.

9/21 - 185.2 - IF/21hrs/Meal times~5pm, 7pm. 18g carbs. Did not drink enough water yesterday, but I managed to get in all of my electrolytes. Took a "littles" walk with my Great Niece ? She likes to walk and I could walk her speed without too much difficulty. My hip joints and muscles are still somewhat stiff and painful, but I've got to move! Using a heating pad at night has been beneficial. Ketones detected today. Edging my way back into ketosis.

9/22 - 185.6? (183.6?) - Every once in a while my scale fuctuates wildly. I'll go with the high number. I didn't sleep that well last night and sipped water throughout. IF/19.5hrs. Meal times~ 2:30, 8pm. 19g carbs. Going to visit 2 of the Grands today at Carb Central. Lol. Thats what I'm going to start calling their home.

9/23 - 185.2 - IF/18hrs. Meal times~ 2pm, 7:30. 33g carbs, 21g net carbs. Only vegetable carbs, cabbage and squash.

9/24 - 185.6 - IF/19.5hrs. Meal times~ 3pm, 6:30. 27g carbs, 19g net carbs. I think I may weigh a little less than this, but I can never wait out my body processes 😯 before water and coffee in the morning.

9/25 - 184.6 - IF/20hrs. Meal times~ 2:30, 6:30. 32g carbs, 25g net carbs. Time to clean up the flower bed, outdoor flower pots😢 and plant some spring bulbs. The sun was so intense midsummer that even the sun loving flowers growth was stunted. Now they are flourishing. Between the heat and the deer eating my plants and flowers, it's a wonder there's anything left out there.
9/26 - Now for a bit of entertainment. 181.8😲~ 182.8😳~ 179.8😌~ 181.9😔~ 184😏✔ Scale games this morning. IF/21hrs. Meal times~ 3:30, 7:30. 20g carbs. Planting some daffodil bulbs in a pot today. I've always planted bulbs in the ground, so I don't know how that will work for me. I dug them up two months ago from my front "weed beds" lol. Thats all that grows there, because the "soil" is dirt. Strength training today. My shoulders are in poor condition.
9/27 - 183.6 - IF/20hrs. Meal times~ 3:30, 7:00. 11g carbs. 100% back in ketosis. I went to Sams Club with my niece yesterday and while all baked goods smelled good and looked inviting, not interested. Fresh squeezed orange juice they were selling, I could smell 4 aisles away. So fragrant and sweet!

9/28 - 183.6 IF/20hrs. Meal times~ 1:30, 5:30. 17g carbs.

9/29 - 183.2 - IF/18.5hrs. Meal times~ 1:30, 5pm. 21g carbs, 16g net carbs. Back to Carb Central today to visit littles. They have been wanting their Uncle to make them belgian waffles, so he's obliging today. They'll be happy. I will NOT be eating bread carbs.

Still painting! I just finished my office/studio/woman cave in a gorgeous light/medium lilac. It was paper bag tan before. I am not a dark tan person unless it’s from being outside. Omg, what a difference! Now to reassemble the room. I also painted the door from the kitchen to the laundry room an interesting bright pink and wowser! Nice happy pop of color. The laundry is newly yellow, and the door from there to the garage is bright turquoise. I think my years on the NC coast are showing. All of which is to say that a happy-colored environment makes me happier and less likely to comfort eat. Let the painting continue! Do others of you find that colors in your environment affect your mood and behavior? Oh, and I’m having a group of friends (women) over for a potluck tomorrow to celebrate my new-this-summer garden. Other than the pie I’ve heard is coming, this group leans toward healthy foods. All good! Have a lovely weekend, all!

Still haven’t conquered the evening snack monster but I did resist the mid-afternoon urge yesterday. I pulled weeds instead. I went 3 years not sabotaging myself so I don’t understand why I’m finding this so hard now. I can’t believe I’ve gained 30 pounds since last fall. Sigh. But this round I’m not worryingly no as much about weight as about recovering my long-time healthful behaviors. You all help a lot with your inspiring posts. Thank you.

Yesterday was a good day. This evening I’m going to a monthly potluck with a women’s group I belong to, so I’ll have to be on my guard. People do bring lots of healthy offerings, but there are also always lots of sweets. My strategy is to pick one and have one bite. I’m taking a salad of baby kale with quinoa, chickpeas, tomatoes, peppers, and a whisper of lemon vinaigrette, so I can always take a decent serving of that! I hope you’re all enjoying the kind of gorgeous early fall weather we’re havin* here!

My goal is to end lower than I started, and to be at or under maintenance calories for my oldest son’s birthday. Thankfully it’s the last of the birthdays for the year.

09/20 294.4 Ah the after weight training, high activity, high sodium, high stress bounce. I was on track with my calories despite my husband bringing home dinner, but I weighed out what was within my calorie goals.

09/21 295.0 Two words, Japanese food. So much tasty sodium filled foods. I was under calories, but oh the sodium. I don’t expect to see a drop until Tuesday because today I’m doing maintenance calories today for my son’s birthday.

09/22 296.8 My son had a nice birthday, but I overate. Thankfully I have nothing else until my anniversary next month. I should see most if not all of the weekend gain gone in a few days as most if not all of it is from sodium.

09/23 294.4 Hopefully I’ll be back down to the round start tomorrow. I’m so sore this morning because I bought a kettlebell weight yesterday and did a workout. My husband has agreed that we need to stop eating out on the weekends. It’s something that has been a little bit of an issue since the new job.

09/24 293.4 And back down plus a little bit. I’m still a little sore and stuff but it’s much better today. This weight also puts me a hint lower than my goal weight for a challenge I’m in and I have ten more days left of that challenge so I’m really happy seeing this number today.

09/25 292.6 I’m on track and really happy with how my change in food/calorie plan is working out. Now if I can just stay on track for the weekends again I’ll be doing fantastic.

09/26 292.0 That’s now a total of 90 pounds lost since January first. I don’t think I’ll have trouble hitting my goal for the year.

09/27 293.0 No idea, probably a combination of sodium, low water, late dinner, and hormones because of ovulation.

09/28 292.0 And back down. I did my kettlebell workout yesterday and I’m not as sore as last time so that’s nice.

09/29 291.4 A nice little loss for the end of the round. I stayed on track yesterday despite the offer to go out for fast food from the hubby. Instead I picked up a favorite of mine from the store and measured out what fit my day.

Round 89 wasn’t any better than the last few rounds. I’m going to keep joining though and keep trying. I need to get my diet under control and start doing some form of exercise again. I think I need to update my excel sheet and start tracking my numbers again that was motivating me to see the trends going down.

OK - this is going to be my round! Really not got back into it all since my holiday even though it was back in August! Enough of the "not too bad" and "OK" - time for some "YEESSS" and to get back to my pre-holiday weight of 133lb - so 5lb away from that which I would love to see gone this round but in reality over the next 2 rounds would be good. So aiming for a 2lb loss this round!

Doing my (walking) Marathon on Saturday night (start at 730pm so will finish around 4am Sunday) which is going to mess with my weekend food (carbs here I come!) and weekend weigh ins but at least its at the start of this round!

09/24 - 139.7lb (+1.0lb) First weigh in since I successfully completed the charity night marathon on Saturday night. Took 9 hours and we finished at 4am and a total of 65,000 steps! Was a great night! Weigh in is still probably excess water weight from that - ate way way way more carbs than usual in the day or so before and on the night itself plus drinking loads of water during and since so not concerned. Will no doubt take a few days for my body to properly recover but I am back to eating normally and drinking plenty of water and green tea and back to the gym tonight.

09/25 - 139.3lb (-0.4lb) Waiting for a whoosh .... Carb overload bloat and now 6 days over expected TOM - ho hum! But back on a proper eating and exercise plan again and back in control which makes me feel so much better and I'll just leave the scales to do what they'll do

09/26 - 138.3lb (-1.0lb) Bit of a whoosh so happy with this. Still no TOM (given up expecting it, will happen when it happens - guess the unpredictability is one of the joys of heading towards 50!)

9/20: 202.3 I ate late, consumed a lot of sodium and tom. I definitely came in under my calorie goal and took 8000 steps (which is great for me lol) ;D
9/21: 199.5 OMG! OMG! OMG! I was wondering how the eff this happened and it came to me. Yesterday I ate McDonald's for lunch, skipped dinner and had a snack of (lots of) chocolate chips and milk lol. I've been eating high sodium forever and I finally had a low sodium day yesterday so I think I finally ditched the water! PLEASE BE REAL! ;D
9/22: 200 ughhhh! Lol it was too good to be true! Oh well! I killed it at the gym today so it's going away again real soon. Going out for dinner today sooo might go up again tomorrow.
9/23: 199.7 Okaaay I guess it was real after all. YESSS! My workout prevented me from overeating at dinner last night so I'm feeling really good. I actually had an amazing food weekend!
