    Day/Weight/Comment
    09/20 - 221.8
    09/21 - DNW
    09/22 - 223.6- I suck at weekends
09/23 - 223.4 - over 3000 mgs of sodium on Friday and Sunday. I did get 2 workouts in but my weekend eating needs to get in check. I've started another challenge and the weigh-ins are on Mondays. Hopefully this will help, although my birthday weekend is coming up.....
    09/24 - 221.6 - whew...
09/25 - 221.4 - Hoping to be 220 by the end of these 10 days. I think I'm making my goals too lofty. On the other hand, it's good to dream ;)
09/26 - 219.8 - Not bad! If I can maintain under 220 past this weekend (my b-day weekend) I'll be happy!
My daughter is 5 today and she wants to go to Popeyes lol
09/27 - 223.6 - I totally saw this one coming. Yesterday they threw a little party for me at work (my bday is tomorrow and one of the managers is away today) so there was samosas and cake and then we went to Popeye's for my daughter's bday dinner (I don't say no, I just try to keep my cals close to my macros). It was a high sodium day and I was too full to exercise after. I'm okay with all of it because we had a good time. Planning a quick HIIT workout this eve and a lunch walk to keep myself active.
    09/28
    09/29

Have a brilliant birthday tomorrow !! xx

I'm a bit concerned - are you taking in enough calories for the amount you are outputting? Is that why you keep having sugar drops? I really think you are not eating enough my friend? Do you think you should consult your medical expert? xx

@musicsax Thanks for your concern. I understand this can be a bit confusing. I actually saw my Dr. this week who is not just encouraging, but pushing for the low carb diet I am following. On this diet it is not actually the calories that I count, but CICO does matter & make a difference so I am glad that mfp shows all my numbers to me when I log, not just my carbs.

I have asked for 5% carbs, 25% protein & 70% fat on my logging stats & mfp has me at 1277 calories & 20-25 g of carbs daily. I have been eating over carbs & over cals too much lately. The drop in my sugar is a good thing as my morning fast numbers are still too high (but not real bad like they used to be before my weight loss!) It is always late at night, long after my last meal that my sugar drops. My doctor has me writing all the blood checks down because if the sugar drops are too consistent, more of my medication will be reduced or taken away. They have already removed 4 pills from my schedule and that is a huge plus. These drops may mean another reduction and that would be phenomenal. Of course, I have to try to monitor this closely and make sure that the carbs I am eating are spread out more evenly between my meals (not all in one meal). If I'm doing it all well and it continues to drop that is when my dr. will make the move to adjust my meds (for the better). I agree that its a scary process but the only way to know its too much meds for me at this time is to see it dropping too much or too often. I am being very careful. I mention this process in my posts because I am sharing that the ravenous hunger that strikes very suddenly with the shakes & weakness are signs that its dropping too low & I should take my glucose test. The hunger is (quickly) so profuse I can completely blow my diet in just 5 minutes of panic eating. This is a disadvantage for me and one that I'm working on by spreading out my carbs. I am also working hard to handle it better when it happens (no uncontrollable stuffing my face with food allowed!) Sometimes that pesky little scale goes up and I want everyone to know that its not always that I couldn't resist a temptation or that I overate that day. When it is overeating, or temptation, I am always honest about that type of weight gain.

When I started my low carb diet in 2018 my glucose numbers on fasting were running over 500 every day. That was when the dr. approved me for a low carb diet which is perfect for T2D. Just like my weight loss, this also is just another process I am going through. So far, my weight, my T2D and my thyroid have all improved. Again, I thank you for caring. It is scary but I feel confident that I got this. Thanks for following my journey. I truly appreciate all ideas, comments & input.

Thanks for sharing, I am reassured now, it would be fantastic if you could reduce the meds xx
