9/30: 224.2 (+0.4)/19.0 (+0.1). Got super busy and did not have time to post.
10/1: 223.6 (-0.6)/18.9 (-0.1). Spent the day at Magic Mountain with my 78-year-old dad. The guy LOVES roller coasters. I was feeling a bit nauseous by the end of the day, partially because I'm still recovering from illness the week before. Still, super-fun day; I walked a ton, and I am pretty sure I was under on calories when considering exercise.
10/2: 224.6 (+1.0)/19.0 (+0.1). My eating has been a bit squirrely the past couple of days. I probably ate twice as much as I "should" have last night, including some dessert. There's been no huge harm done at this point, so I'm going to focus on limiting the duration/intensity of this little "lapse" (meaning, cutting that $#!+ down in its tracks, RIGHT NOW). I am going to the gym tonight to lift weights and do some cardio.
10/3: 224.2 (-0.4)/18.9 (-0.1). Went to the gym last night and lifted weights. Ate okay throughout the day, and I was definitely under my calorie goal.
10/4: 224.4 (+0.2)/19.0 (+0.1). My wife surprised me with one of my favorite meals last night. It was so good... but I don't want to focus on that. I split what she brought me in two, and brought the other half to work with me for lunch. Gym tonight after work.
10/5: 224.0 (-0.4)/18.9 (-0.1). Went to the gym least night. Had leftovers for lunch, which probably wasn't the healthiest option. Going out tonight for sushi on a double date with one of my best friends.
10/6: 225.0 (+1.0)/19.0 (+0.1). Went out for sushi and had about 3 beers over the night. Then I binged at home. No surprise with this weigh-in, but not an emergency either. I want to say that I've been in a bit if a rut, but I think it's really only with the scale. I've been going to the gym 3x/wk pretty consistently, I'm feeling (and looking) stronger, and I am generally feeling a little bit better overall. I'm going to finish strong in this challenge.
10/7: 226.0 (+1.0)/19.1 (+0.1). Hmm. Looks like I went ahead and had a weekend, at least based on the scale. Lunch was questionable, but dinner last night was pretty damned healthy, I think. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I'm still here, and I'll keep working. Went to the gym yesterday, and I felt pretty great. Gym again tomorrow. Stay focused, me. One meal at a time.
10/8: 225.6 (-0.4)/19.1 (0.0). A step in the right direction. I'll take it. I need to remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I always seem to get a little bit anxious toward the end of a challenge. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's hard to shake the feeling. Headed to the gym tonight.

09/30 134.5, pretty happy with this weight especially since it’s after a weekend. My TOM will be mid week so hoping to curb any cravings and still manage to get workouts in.
10/01 134.3, back to where I was at the end of last round and hopefully the downward trend continues the rest of the round. Ending on a Wednesday gives me time to lose any period weight.
10/02 134.2, back to lowest weight and TOM started yesterday. Lots of water and cooking today a meal that gives 3 meals of leftovers do should be set up well for the next couple of days.
10/03 134.1, meals prepped for today (still leftovers) and managed to go to the gym for an hour so hoping continue on downward trend tomorrow going into the weekend with some cushion since always go up slightly.
10/04 133.8, went to the doctor today and weighed in at 135.7, which was discouraging but reminded myself that it’s better to see a trend with the same scale and I’ve been using the same one since the beginning. 70 minute on elliptical this afternoon and prepped meals should hopefully help continuing on a downward trend
10/05 133.8, ate well but skipped the gym to finish a project. Will try to do 1 hour and a half tomorrow to make up for the missed session today.
10/06 133.6, managed to do an 1 hour and a half. Off to brunch so may be over calories tomorrow but go so rarely will enjoy myself. Dinner is the last bit of leftovers.
10/07 132, no idea where this weight came from but excited to see it. I expect to be up tomorrow but always great to see a new number
10/08 132.3, ate well yesterday, but didn’t work out. Today going to work out and hoping to stay under 133 in order to meet goals for the round.

09/30--207.2 Surprised about the slight drop since I'm so sore from my workout yesterday. Plan is to take the dog out for a long walk and to get my water in.
10/01--207.6 I'm disappointed, not in the bump in the scale because that can happen for a number of reasons that are out of my control, but more because I had a second snack yesterday even though I wasn't hungry and even though I had set my goal this round for only one snack. This disappointment is going to encourage me to stick with my goal for the rest of the round. Went out with a short hike with hubby and the dog yesterday, it was a perfect fall day. I'm still sore, so I will probably just take the dog out for an easy walk after dinner.
10/02--207.0 Strength coach today.
10/03--206.7 I'm so sore from my workout yesterday, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bump tomorrow.
10/04--206.7 Went to the gym this morning before work. Didn't get much water yesterday, so goal is to get water in today.
10/05--206.7 I don't think I've ever weighed in at the same weight for3 days in a row. Going to my town's fair/festival and I'll be eating my lunch from the local vendors so I ate a light breakfast and will drink a lot of water. Hoping to get a lot of steps.
10/06--207.8 I was expecting the bump. Went to the festival yesterday and had a great time. I woke up this morning and was so, so thirsty. Going to see strength coach today and will definitely be drinking a lot of water today.
10/07--208.1 Had a great day yesterday...I ate within calories and drank a lot of water, bump up is from salt from 2 days ago but I know it will drop soon. Went out to run C25K today...felt great!
10/08--208.1 I had another great day of eating yesterday. Need to continue with water. No workout planned after work, rest day, and hubby is going out tonight, so a relaxing evening planned with the dog. I may go out and do a trail walk if the weather holds up.

9/30 181.5 I’m back, after a stressful week and some weight gain. Although I worked out all week last week I ate more than I burned. Also made a lot of bad choices, it’s a new week and almost a new month. Back to logging my food and meal prep is done for the week.
10/1 180.5 (-1) Off to a good start. Finished 50 minutes of boot amp and getting my 45 minutes of cardio in before work.
10/2 179 (-1.5) Gym at 5am with my awesome accountability partner, broken toe and all! Way to push through.
10/3 179 +/- 0 No change on the scale but It’s a good thing! Always great to start the day at the gym but missing my workout partner.
10/4 178 (-1) Date night with my accountability partner last night and I didn’t cheat! Woke up early for a 5am workout and took progress pics! Can’t wait to see results.
10/5 177 (-1) Workout plans didn’t go as planned this morning but managed get up and burn some calories. The trainer kept yelling “progress not perfection”, sticking to that today.

Weight still continuing to trend down very nicely 😀 Am taking today off from the gym but will be getting a decent walk in this evening with my bf. Also walked uptown to the pharmacy to grab my meds, then to Tim Horton's and the convenience store. Around 45 mins of walking so far today. More to come. Regardless of the gym I always walk at least 30 mins a day because I love walking, it raises my mood and today is such a lovely sunny fall day! 🍁💛

09/30: 235.2 - I ate way too much Chinese food yesterday. I got my workout in today and am trying not to munch on everything. Not a bad Monday.
10/01: 235.6 - bloated and gross feeling. Haven't eaten the best in the last few days.
10/02: 236 - not been eating the greatest but trying to stay within calories. Hormones and bad food choices = water weight.
10/03: 234.6 - I didn't work out yesterday and over ate. At least the scale is lower than yesterday. I need to get back on the ball. I'll try to do better today.
10/04: 233.4 - I did better yesterday and got my workout in. I really hope the scale keeps dropping. I'd like to see below 232 lbs this round. Happy Friday everyone!
10/05: 230.4 - well that was a pleasant surprise. After a week of not doing the greatest I still managed to lose some weight. My goal is to reach 220 by the end of October and I'll be happy if I'm even close.

09/30 :: 187.0 :: Logged all my meals for this day! 150cal over my budget but I'm proud I logged it all after a period of skipping logs
10/01 :: 187.0 :: I forgot to check weight this morning.... but I'm making sure to keep up the food logging! Successfully strayed away from an apple crisp treat left in the office kitchen, even though my coworkers all had some. Under my budget by 200!
10/02 :: 184.2 :: Logged all my meals yesterday and exercised twice - Beat Saber this morning and Yoga class tonight. Under budget by 200 - if I include all my exercise (exercise excluded I'm waaaay over)
10/03 :: 182.4 :: Logged all meals yesterday and exercised for 30 min this morning! been trying for 8 hours of sleep nightly, and last night I got a nice 8.5h. Still feeling groggy from weeks of <8hr/night. Overate by 400 calories, lost my wallet and stress ate, "treated" myself to boba to cheer me up.
10/04 :: 184.8 :: Logged all meals yesterday. Woke up early to hit up the DMV to replace my driver's license, so I only got 6 hours sleep. Best laid plans, amirite? I had a big breakfast (breakfast burrito at del taco) so I'm having a small salad for lunch to make up. I ended up overeating for dinner and I stopped counting calories after I got home from work. I chalked it up to stress, but honestly it was just me feeling guilty for the amount I was eating and not wanting to stop or check myself This happens every week. Over budget, I'm sure.
10/05 :: 184.2 :: Logged only half my meals yesterday, and none today. Feel like I wasted the day away between sleep and games and checking facebook. I know I needed a break but I wish I could have been a bit more productive Over budget, I'm sure.
10/06 :: 184.2 :: Logged all my meals today! I ate a lot of crap - poptarts, halloween candy. I came in at 469 calories below my goal. I got a lot done, like seeing the Dr, picking up prescriptions, washing dishes and cleaning house. Trying to make up for yesterday, I guess.
10/07 :: 182.4 :: I can't believe I lost weight over the weekend, I feel like I didn't do well at all, between not tracking and the sugar from sunday. But here we are. It'd be awesome to hit 180 by the end of this 10-day stretch.... I met my calorie count for the day!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Did really well in the last round. Hoping to finally hit a new decade this round. I am so close to my ultimate goal, but it seems so far away at the same time. I have to be so careful with everything to be able to lose at this point, so I am going to work really hard. My goal is to hit 139 at least a couple of times this round and continue to bring my 10 day avg down at least another pound.

9/30 - 145.9 not off to a great start. We drank a lot yesterday and did a lot of snacking on foods that I normally wouldn't eat. Tons of carbs/sodium and beer were consumed all day. Tailgating and watching the Cowboys game with the hubby made for a great Sunday though. Now to get back on track and get somewhere this round. I am getting to old to party like we used to, I feel terrible today and I am just hoping to get my water in. I have a feeling it will an early night for me.
10/1 - 146.5 I have no idea what's going on. I had a medication change that started Saturday, so maybe I am holding onto some water or something or maybe this is the rest of my Sunday's bounce. I know I did splurge a little to much, but geez, I don't think 5.6 pounds worth by any means. I better not see it go up again tomorrow, it will eventually drop, I just have to be patient.
10/2 - 143.9 water weight is my enemy! Hopefully I will be back down tomorrow all the way. Was on track all day yesterday accept I did have a flour tortilla with dinner. Other than that excellent day and so far on track today.
10/3 - 143.2 I think I would have been lower, but had to eat on the run last night for dinner. Hubby and kids wanted pizza which I can usually get away with. Of course the pizza restaurant we chose did not serve salads (even pizza hut has a salad), I was shocked. So I went with 1 slice of veggie pizza and a couple of chicken wings. I thought for sure that would be fine. Usually if we order from our local place I can eat a salad and a couple of bone in wings and be well under my allotted dinner calories. I ended up 200 calories over, 40 fat g over, and 2000 mg of sodium over. I don't know what this place does to it's wings, but I would have been better off eating a couple slices of pizza. I was shocked when I went home and logged my dinner. So water and clean eating is on the menu today.
10/4 - 142.0 Feeling extremely bloated and uncomfortable all day. My stomach still isn't 100% cooperating with the new meds, so hopefully bu next week I will be better. I am exactly where I was last Friday. I am still fighting to get into the 130's, but I think it's going to take longer than I thought.
10/5 - 141.5 I’m good with this. Almost back down to my lowest last week. I just need to keep working and doing what I need to do.
10/6 - 141.5 glad it stayed the same. Drank last night,but stayed away from the food at a get together we had with friends. So I always see a spike up 2 days later after I drink. Hoping to stay on track today and finish this week strong.
10/7 - 143.2 Fell last night and am really sore today. Going to a movie and relaxing with the hubby and hopefully will be back down tomorrow.
10/8 - 144.9 kind of shocked I am up so much today again. This has to be from water retention and the fall I took on Saturday night. I am feeling better today and not quite as sore as yesterday, but can definitely feel my age. No popcorn or snacks of any kind at the movies and ate on track all day yesterday. I was not good about water though.

10/8: Got side tracked with the birth of my new grandson!! Between crazy hours w/ too much take out and too little exercise (on top of preparing foods I rarely eat myself for new mom and dad), I can definitely feel and see some weight gained, though I haven't been on a scale yet. Hoping it drops fast, but whatever the damage, still pleased as punch to have been able to spend so much time with them this week. Onwards and downwards!

10/01: 301.9 lbs (-0.5) … Some uptick recovery. Had a good run this morning in the rain (Couch to 5k Week 7 Day 2 complete). Got two compliments about my weight loss at work
10/02: 302.4 lbs (+0.5) … Yesterday’s progress, erased. Likely water retention due to more exercise -- was pretty active yesterday. Ran in the morning, walked at lunch, then spent 1.5 hours playing Beat Saber in the evening. Wound up at around 17,000 steps for the day.
10/03: 300.1 lbs (-2.3) … There we go. Almost back to my round start weight. Completed Couch to 5k Week 7 Day 3 this morning.

09/30 – 184.6 – Big post-weekend bounce, thanks to the yummy (and salty!) clam pizza my husband and I shared last night. I think I’m finally getting used to my body’s response to extra sodium, so I’m trying to take those temporary water gains in stride. To be honest, when DH suggested pizza, my first thought was about how the salt would affect Monday morning’s weigh-in. But I’m glad I said yes. We had a relaxing evening, and the water weight will be gone in a couple of days.
10/01 – 183.4 – Voila! Water gain from the pizza is gone, and I’m back to my Round 91 starting weight. Late meeting, but I didn’t want to do take-out again. Only managed a tiny walk (15 minutes) after work, but I made it home in time to roast a spaghetti squash and throw together a quick veggie chilli to top it. The leftovers will buy me some time for a longer walk later this week. Stayed under my calorie limit even with a LNS of a lemon bar and tea – “fuel” to help me power through tonight’s stack of student essays.
10/02 – 183.4 – Bonus beach day after my morning class – it was just too nice to sit inside grading journals. Walked for 2 ½ hours, most of it through the sand and surf. Met my daughter and her friend for (diet) root beer floats and still came in under my calorie limit. Banking the extra for the weekend.
10/03 – 183.0 – Glad to be moving down. Rain all day, so I caught up with grading instead of walking. Met my goal for logging and calories.
10/04 – 183.0 – Cool morning. Walked for an hour, then ran errands. Lunch out and a big gooey chocolate cookie after dinner put me a little over on calories, but I logged everything. I’ve got my grandsons coming tomorrow, so it will be a busy day. Turning in early so I’ll be well rested and ready for adventure!

Logged and made my calorie goal today, and managed to squeeze in a brisk half-hour walk around the neighborhood before my evening class. Papers are starting to pile up and I have homework for my professional development class. Five weeks in, and I feel like this semester is kicking my butt!

09/30 120.9 Up from 1.3 lbs from yesterday so not the best start - water retention from DOMS, salt (tortilla chips :-) from lunch yesterday, and BP medicine ran out over-weekend and forgot to pick up Rx Friday. Girl Power this morning and will hopefully burn off fat/water with cardio this evening at spin class!
010/01 120.1 Heading back down! Cardio day - cycle in am and then a circuit class in the evening. Ended up doing 80 push ups during the circuit class - hopefully won’t be too sore. Good recovery meal of homemade arugula pasta with smoked yellow tomato sauce, roasted garlic puree and arugula oil.
010/02 119.2 Continued down and back below end of round 90 and almost back to recent low. Will take more time as within 10 pounds of goal and a lot of these fluctuations are more likely water than fat/muscle loss. Girl Power this am (last class sad to say) and finished with our choice - focused on squats - up to 85 pounds @ 5 reps now on back squat and feel comfortable now working on my own. Improved max rep of pushups to 21 and reduced weight on machine assisted pull-up so definitely getting stronger (much better metric of progress than weight from scale!) continuing daughter’s veggie week them so pasta again, cavatappi with smoked eggplant and red peppers with ground beyond beef and smoked mozzarella. Hopefully good recovery meal after heavy leg day (squats/cycle in evening)
010/03 117.8 Whoooosh! This was unexpected, but likely water. Did not have a huge amount of fiber yesterday, so expect that tomorrow weight will be back up. Good news is that if it is water should be able to hang out around this weight once it stabilizes. Busy with work so did not get to the gym this am, so took a much needed rest day. Wasn’t really sore from squats, but power in cycle class was below FTP last night so probably need some recovery time. Going to do an ab workout and then call it a day!
010/04 118.8 As expected. back up a pound but really on track so happy with where I am. BMI is still below 24, but still have some belly fat and flab on thighs, lower back to work on. Power back to where it should be today in spin class - not sure if it was from taking a break or just the other bike was not calibrated the same, but felt much better today. No time for weights today, so will try to work in strength workout over the weekend.
010/05 117.6 OK this was a surprise, but I’ll take it. If I can stay in the 117’s I will be able to make my optimistic goal for this round! No time to get to the gym today, so going to do a workout on the elliptical here at home. Grilled swordfish with mango sauce, black beans & jasmine rice, plus greens for dinner and since it is the weekend wine tonight.

010/07 118.2 up a little but on track! DOMS in glutes from deadlifts yesterday and weighed earlier than past few days (food retention). Great cardio workouts this am (step and cycle) Still have time to make STG!
010/08 118.8 Food retention issue not relieved prior to weigh in (sorry for TMI) however much better once the morning latte kicked in prior to the gym, so maybe there will ge a drop tomorrow for the end of the round! Moved on to workout 3A in “Strong” this am with trainer so feeling it right now in the quads/glutes (single armed deadlift with kettle bell and Bulgarian split squat) plus chest, shoulders, core (they are not complaining yet :-). Finished up with a HIIT workout on the treadmill - was able to move up to a 6mph pace for 60 seconds at peak hr zone, and then recovery for up to a minute at 4.5-5 mph (repeated for 30 minutes). Treadmills have freaked me out, but know I need to mix up my cardio a bit more. Calories good for the day.

10/01 - day 1 - Oof, I forgot about the arm exercises. But did it! And it feels good to finally get back into the groove of things.
10/02 - day 2 - Woke up sore from yesterday, which I liked :-)
Ok, day two was nice, slightly easier than day one. And it seemed shorter as well.
10/03 - day 3 - yikes, only did half the session. Like my heart isn’t in it anymore... I feel like I get bored so easily these days. And I must say I had a long day as well, and did the session when my energy levels were low.
I will do my session in the morning tomorrow. No sad feelings :-)
10/04 - day 4 - yeah, no, it’s definitely boredom. I miss the weight training. I shall finish these 10 days just because, but then look to start Stronglift :-)
10/05 - day 5 - done. No issues. I’m really uplifted by all the progress everyone here writes about. I love this idea of focusing « only » on 10 days at a time. I think it has made me want to change a particular mindset I have had trouble with. How wonderful to notice these kinds of changes. Happy progress everyone!
10/06 - day 6 - felt good today. I added 10 minutes of stretching because I love it but also because my legs were stiff as can be... only 3 more days :-)
10/07 - day 7 - I outdid myself today, I’m quite happy about how things are going and my future plans.
10/08 - day 8 - oof, went hard today, I will certainly feel it tomorrow ! This challenge was the ideal step forward for me. I am trying to shift my mindset and this is absolutely hitting the mark. I shall implement this concept to other areas of my life and see how I go. By the way, I am ready to start losing again. Just a few kgs. Literally 6 kgs. But at a slooooooow pace. This has always been the hard part for me. To just take it easy, not rush things and enjoy the process. I am really excited for the next round :-) but this one isn’t over yet ! Happy progress guys !

09/30 - 19st 0.5lb (0.5lb loss) - A good day overall! Busy day at work so lots of walking, and was quite conservative with my calories. Will be repeating my couch to 5k run from Saturday tonight, determined to do it all (unless I get chased by another dog!)
10/01 - 19st 0.3lb (0.2lb loss) - Aaaaargh!! I mean, a loss is a loss but I am soooo close to the next stone barrier. And once I see 18st on my scale I NEVER want to see 19 again. Did my repeat c25k run last night and it was amazing. My fitness has improved so much since I started. I mean I need to keep at it, but five weeks ago I never would have believe I could run for eight minutes non-stop, twice. And I didn't get to that insensible stage of losing my breath either. 💪💪
10/02 - 18st 12.5lb (1.8lb loss) - Yesssssssssssss!!!! Fully anticipating a bounce back tomorrow but for today, I'm going to enjoy this victory!
10/03 - 18st 12lb (0.5lb loss) - So that uptick didn't come today, although I'm sure it's just around the corner. I hope I can stay under 19st when it comes though. I had a wonderful non-scale victory yesterday - I completed W5R3 of couch to 5k which is 5min walk, 20min run, 5min walk. Possibly the longest I've run in my life, 100% definitely the longest as an adult. I did it! And I felt great doing it! It was hard but not impossible. I am so proud of myself, and so impressed by the increase in my fitness in just five weeks. This success seemed utterly inconceivable then!
10/04 - 18st 11lb (-1lb) - Hooray! I am only ½lb away from a 3stone (42lb/19kg) total loss! I so hope I get there in the next few days, I know I'm due for a little bump up but I don't want one! 4lb loss for Round 91 so far so right on track for my goal. 🤞
10/05 - 18st 11¼lb (+¼lb) - Honestly, if that's my bounce, I'll take that. Doing another c25k session today so fingers crossed for onwards and downwards tomorrow!
10/06 - 18st 10¼lb (-1lb) - Yes!!! I did it!! 3st total loss!! Anticipating a bump tomorrow due to some poor choices (mainly marshmallows) today but feel very committed to getting it back under control.
10/07 -18st 9¾lb (-½lb) - I didn't deserve a loss at all, I was expecting a gain. Maybe it'll come tomorrow instead.
10/08 - 18st 8lb (-1¾lb) - Well that was a nice surprise! I was well under my calories yesterday and went out to do couch to 5k W6R2 too so that explains that. It's quite pleasing to be approaching 18½ stone. One stone more and I will be the lightest of my adult life. Hope I don't wreck it! I have a habit of self sabotage.

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 91 (round 23 for me ) I'm in for another round, not quite as much holiday weight lost last round as I'd like due to my own sabotage towards the end, I am always so annoyed at myself after a binge, don't know why I let food rule my life!
Onwards and upwards in a new round - Just 20 days to go before our cheeky pre-Brexit break on The Algarve, must get these extra pounds off for then ! I can if I stay strong !!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

09/ 133.8 – yippee a good drop for the start of the round, only managed 1.88 miles yesterday due to the persistent rain, but stayed on plan (difficult on Sunday with roast dinner), but only 23 calories over and all other macros in green. See if I can lose another pound by the end of the challenge.

10/02 133.2 – just over 6 miles walked yesterday. Wonderful day out with my lovely sisters yesterday & just 150 calories over my calories out – yay !!!

10/02: 163.4-9 mile bike ride, gorgeous day. Disappointed no change but put on old “painting pants” today and they fit far better. Off to stain my deck!
10/03: 162!-After 7 hours of hard physical labor; hope it isn’t just dehydration, it was brutally hot. Rest day.
10/04: 162-No bump up, yay, for now.
10/05: 162.2-Okay with the bump. One hour kayaking on a windy, gorgeous day. Dinner was especially satisfying (bean tostada).
10/06: 162.2-A little light on the exercise today, but a good day.

09/30 - 142.4lb (+4.4lb) Hosted my Dad's birthday dinner last night so good food, good company and a couple of glasses of fizz to celebrate. So a temporary blip on the scale as I know I didn't eat enough to put on 4lb but due mainly due to more carbs, late evening eating and sodium. Food all planned for today and aiming to drink plenty of water ..... All is good, feeling positive and a new month starts tomorrow too! Happy Monday
10/01 - 139.6lb (-2.8lb) Glad I don't only weigh once a week as would have been very demoralised yesterday - this is why I love daily weighing and learning to understand the effect different foods have on the scale every day. Another good food day planned and a gym PT session tonight and my water bottle is at my side
10/02 - 138.8lb (-0.8lb) Will take this quite happily. All heading in the right direction, actually been logging my food properly, staying in allowance and drinking my water and amazingly the scale goes down ..... Who would have thought it eh ?
10/03 - 138.3lb (-0.5lb) Still heading in the right direction so all is good. Decent food day planned and gym tonight so all good and feeling positive
10/04 - 137.6lb (-0.7lb) Yay!!! Down to less than I started this round at last!
10/05 - 138.0lb (+0.4lb) Hhhmmm - and back to where I started again. Don't know why as ate slightly under calories yesterday so can only think it was lack of water. I don't work on a Friday and being at home I tend to forget to drink water - plenty of tea and coffee - just not plain water. Possibly this..... But then I do often find if I've had a few losing days then I will ping back up a bit then start losing again a couple of days later - not disheartenend as feeling in control at the minute so just got to make sure that carries on.

10/06 - 139.9lb (+1.9lb) Artificially inflated as always on a Monday due to our usual Sunday family roast with parents but was really bad at drinking enough water over the weekend. Got so caught up with painting the room getting ready for new floor to be laid and delivery of our new kitchen over the next couple of weeks that I didn't drink nearly enough of anything let alone water! But back to normal weekday routine - at work every day which seems to make it so much easier for me to stay in a routine as sit at my desk with my water bottle in front of me plus I have a 60-90 minute journey each way every day that I get plenty of chance to drink my water. Have set myself up a target of 4 weeks to get back down to my holiday weight of 133 (if not more of course) (have my grandsons birthday party and fireworks celebrations that weekend so have an event to work towards rather than a vague date - seems to work better for me that way) - easily done if I stay focused and accountable 3, 2, 1 go!!!!
10/07 - DNW (Sunday lay in)
10/08 - 139.3lb (-0.6lb) A bit off - still would like more of a whoosh before round end though! Ate and drank well yesterday so all good. TOM arrived over 2 weeks late (well half heartedly arrived - but guess at 48 the end is in sight so guess it all going to start getting a bit weird and unpredictable!) Hopefully that will mean I will feel a bit less bloated as felt very "PMS'y" for the last 2-3 weeks. Good food day planned so here's to more of a drop tomorrow.
10/09 - 137.9lb (-1.4lb) Yay - decent whoosh. So finished the round down - although only 0.1lb. But hopefully on a bit of a roll now and I can take it into the next round.

10/01 156.0 lbs (-1.6) 13,775 steps, 4.15km run/walk, core challenge 02/30 ok. I was not expecting such a loss, especially after having a good drop the day before! I’m really pleased as I was stuck going up and down in the 157.x for two rounds and it was starting to get me really down! Also, with my running I’ve started doing a 30-day body core challenge app (planks), to stop my abs from wobbling around when I run lol
10/02 158.0 lbs (+2.0) 6.461, core challenge 03/30 done… Ok so that was a shock, I had guessed that it would go back up a bit but that was more than a bit pfff I ate well until 6pm when we got home and only had time to eat a couple of cheese sandwiches before the math teacher showed up for my DD and I didn’t have time to make myself anything “normally” healthy. Then I had the bad idea to top if off with a piece of cake. I had thought I could squeeze in a run but that didn’t happen either. Anyway, today is another day, healthier dinner is planned and a run this evening.
10/03 – 157.4 (-0.6) 1224 cal, 15.455 step, Core 04/30 done, 3.93km W7R1 done. Yesterday went ok, I did my run on a treadmill which I found quite hard but I admit it has advantages and disadvantages, I found it boring which is the main disadvantage but on the other hand I could increase speed incrementally easily and track my progress. Also I don’t have good balance so was quite stressed about falling off and ending up on one of those silly treadmill failure videos For food I’ve realized I’m better when I don’t eat in the evening after a run so I just had an apple
10/04 157.4 (0.0) 1278 cal, 11.887 steps, Core 5/30 done. All over a good day even if I didn’t loose any weight. I made a big batch of tomato soup which will last a while and curb any snacking hunger. I’ve got a very busy weekend ahead so I’ll have to plan my meals carefully!

I put on weight every time and I’m just so busy, the stress of getting everything done combined with eating on the go is not working out at all. Next weekend is just as bad so I think I just have to sit down and set some priorities. I’m a bit annoyed with myself right now (and tired and cranky sorry)
10/08 157.4 (-2.0) 1248 cal, 8212 steps, so I'm back at my plateau weight again, it's a relief after yesterday I was extra careful with type of food I ate. Today I've already been to the gym (during lunch break) and did a 3.5 km easy run on the treadmill followed by quick 15 min abs workout. I'll do my core workout tonight. I feel like I could have a snooze at my desk now lol
10/09 156.8 (-0.6) 1355 Cal, 14700 steps, core 08/30 challenge done. I'm pleasantly surprised by this drop as I ate over calorie yesterday. This is only the second time I've seen 156.x so I'm hoping it'll be my new go-to number! Yesterday I sorted out my winter clothes and I was amazed that my trousers were too big as I've dropped 2 sizes, I'm going to buy 2 news pairs today so that I can look presentable at the office! I think that will be enough as I'm going to loose more weight so i don't want to waste money, at home I wear stretch jeans and such so it'll be ok till the January sales.

I'm in. messed around the last round and bounced up and down the same few pounds. Aim this round is to get into the 139's.
30th Sept: 142.5. Had parents round for dinner yesterday. There was apple tart and ice cream. And cider Back to routine today.
1st Oct: 139.75. I don't deserve this low number today. Yesterday was AWFUL. 3 Krispy Kreme donuts. Crisps. Chocolate. Digestives with real butter. Apple tart. Trifle. No exercise. Just hit my steps that's about it. BUT this low weight has given me a pep up and I'm determined for today. Piloxing class tonight. Really hope I can keep the weight in the 130's.
2nd Oct: 139.25. Absolutely estatic with this. Stayed within calories, did 18k steps and a piloxing class. This is the lowest I've been in 5 years. I'd love to get more comfortable in the 130'3 but TOM is this weekend so lets see.
3rd: Oct: 138.5. WOW! Absolutely thrilled. Yesterday was a good day and went for a walk with my mam and dogs before it got dark. Its getting dark early here now - about 7:15pm and as I live in the country, my evening walks are numbered. I can drive to the nearest town for a walk but its an hour round trip. Piloxing class tonight although we are expecting storm Lorenzo to hit so it could be cancelled.
4th Oct: 138.5. I'm so appreciative that alls going well for me. Stayed within calories, got my steps in and had a piloxing class last night. Another piloxing class tonight. Quiet weekend ahead, but I'll get walks in with the dogs. Promised my boys we'd have a chips and pizza movie night tomorrow night. I haven't had fast food in a long time so I am going to budget for 2 slices of pizza and a bag of chips. We are renting a carpet cleaner for the weekend so I'll be busy washing the couches and carpets. Oh.. and my car seats! I'm a bit of a cleaning nerd.
5th Oct: 138.25. Good day yesterday. Stayed within calories and did my piloxing class.
6th Oct: 140.5. Chips and pizza family night last night. Stayed within calories so not worried about the slight increase.
7th Oct: 141.75. Bad day yesterday. TOM and boy its bad (TMI). Walked the dogs up the woods and had shepherds pie for dinner. It all went downhill from there. There was buttery toast, chocolate bars, biscuits. No end to my snacking. Its like I lost total self control!! Did A LOT of housework too though. Back to normal today. One of the girls brought in caramel rice crispy squares - I did have one but I have it logged. Someone else brought in a box of chocolates... not going to TOUCH them as if I do, I wont be able to stop at 1. Son has training tonight so I'll walk the dog for an hour, get my steps in. Want to finish this round back in the 139's.
8th Oct: 140.5. Went 150 cals over yesterday. So.... I didn't manage to resist the sweets... I ate 9 and logged them..450 calories. SO not worth it. Literally had bread and jam for my tea before bed, was so short on calories. Today my aim is to resist the box of sweets. Good drop today though, I managed to get 16k steps yesterday. Piloxing class tonight, so if I could finish this round in the 139's I'd be delighted. Still TOM though so we'll see.
9th Oct: 139.25. Happy with this drop. Had a good day yesterday. Stayed within calories. Got a walk in and a piloxing class so ended the day on 22k steps. Very happy with this round!
Total loss this round: 3.5lbs. Find this hard to believe. I think I had a "fake" high on day 1 of this round which makes my finishing weight look good. Either way... I'll take it!

09/30:203.4. I will be pretty strict for this week. Hoping to lose 10lbs in the next 3.5 weeks before vacation
10/01: 204.8. This is directly the result of poor choices. It is not real weight gain & will go away.
10/02: 204. Better day yesterday but still a bit out of control. Today will be better since I had better sleep & will go to yoga after work.
10/03:202.6 getting there but still not where I want my eating to be. I cooked last night & that should help me stick to my goals a little better
10/04: 201.4 I had a good day yesterday. I decided that rather then white knuckle through the afternoon I separated my lunch into 2 and ate half at 3:30. That really helped. I hope to keep seeing this downward trend through the weekend

09/30 80.9 I gained weight during the last round. There was a lot of stress and I dealt with it partly by eating a lot, mostly candy. But now most of the stress is gone and I can get back on track again
10/01 80.9kg I was so tired yesterday and got hardly anything done. Periods really does sucks sometimes. But hopefully I’ll get started with some exercise again today.

10/04 81.4kg My diet is not the best right now. But atleast I am getting my exercise done. There’s such a big difference in my body weighing around 80 kg now when I lift weight and try to keep as active as possible from weighing 80 kg about 5-6 years ago when I didn’t exercise at all. I am still overweight now and I definitely want to lose so I get back at a healthy weight. But I don’t feel as uncomfortable in my body as I used to do and I am very happy about that. Getting started with a consistent exercise routine is probably the best thing I have ever done for my health (+quit smoking).

09/30 – 145 – I’m glad I didn’t go up anymore. I’ve got the water ready along with some healthier snacks for the office this week.
10/01 – 144.5 – I started a short work out program with my husband yesterday.
