Didn’t reach my goal for the round, but the win is that I am leaner and fitter. Never thought I would be able to stay on the elliptical for 55 minutes! Cardio a win, but still need to work on water intake.

10/01: 163.4-lunch with a friend, 50 minutes on the elliptical.
10/02: 163.4-9 mile bike ride, gorgeous day. Disappointed no change but put on old “painting pants” today and they fit far better. Off to stain my deck!
10/03: 162!-After 7 hours of hard physical labor; hope it isn’t just dehydration, it was brutally hot. Rest day.
10/04: 162-No bump up, yay, for now.
10/05: 162.2-Okay with the bump. One hour kayaking on a windy, gorgeous day. Dinner was especially satisfying (bean tostada).

10/4 188.4 lbs 8h48m/80/8:44pm... according to my tracker, only 3 min of deep sleep for all that. HR and body temp were elevated. Being sick is zero fun.
10/5 186.7 lbs 11h22m/87/8:19pm... in all that sleep I got less than 1 hour of deep restorative sleep. I feel really rough. 🤧😵 HR & body temp still elevated. Caps won, tho!

10/9 182.2 lbs; my sleep tracker seems to have fritzed out on me, but while I didn't get AS MUCH sleep (less than 6 hrs total), it FELT like better sleep. Next round, I will focus on regaining strength & endurance, which has been purely devastated during this flu. MFP Friends - this is NOT how you want to drop 9 pounds in 10 days, believe me. ❤

10/09 - DNW - Its MAH BIRTHDAY. Was at BF's to dogsit so no scale this morning but that's okay. No need to look today anyway (still TOM so not pretty). Going to dinner tonight. Going to try to behave but I planned on a splurge today anyway since I don't get to do this often. BF doesn't like sweets (I'm not usually big on them unless TOM cravings hit. Or anxiety attack.) so I get to spend time with people that will splurge with me and maybe split a dessert (: I have my 15 minute benchmark run today so I'll try to knock that out around lunch. And I have the flu shot today before I leave work. Ugh. But it'll do me good. Just don't like the thought of getting stuck by needles on my birthday (unless I'm giving blood, I'm fine with that)
Previous Day's Comments09/30 - BF left for AZ for 2-3 weeks for work so I'm dog sitting at his house. No scale. This round ends on my birthday so I'm going to try to not discourage myself with numbers and just try to focus on intuitive eating instead. Yesterday was bad for me and I'm sure I'm WAY up. I just couldn't satisfy my hunger no matter what. But I did take the dog for a walk so I got some movement in. Today is focused on water and eating in moderation (I have leftovers I don't want to waste since it was an expensive dinner for the early birthday celebration for BF's youngest. They have veggies and protein so I'll try to eat those before I indulge on the yummy rice.) Trying to get more movement in today as well. I have no major meetings so I'm going to try to hit the gym for a small easy workout.
10/01 - Not as horrid as I thought but I'm so close to my highest weight. Eek. But we had a retirement party for a guy I'm close to and I got peer pressured into cake and ice cream. So I took a small piece of cake with as little icing as possible and a small scoop of ice cream. Then I did a run/walk for a mile in the gym. I didn't get to go grocery shopping yesterday but luckily I forgot my lunch leftovers in the work fridge so I have those for lunch today (not ideal but its not vending machine food). I'm eating a couple salami sticks from vending machine since I woke up with a grumbling stomach I've fought for about 2 hours now (I know its hunger for sure) while I drink coffee. Hopefully I can get a quick workout in again today during lunch. Tonight I'll be dog sitting so maybe, if it doesn't storm, I'll take the pup to get a harness and go for a walk. Worst case, I'll get the harness for Friday, since I'm off work.
10/02 - Last night was interesting. We had a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Then, as soon as I finished cooking dinner, sirens. It was blue skies for about 10 minutes after sirens (as I gather what I know my boyfriend would want me to try to save and get the dog out from her hiding spot) and then it hit. Apparently there was a rotation a few miles away from the house. Luckily no damage or anything crazy. Unfortunately, my adrenaline was sky high and my food was cold so I only ate about half my dinner and then splurged on a chocolate bar. All well within calories but still makes me wonder what will happen. I don't feel so bloated today so that's a plus. I made 2 servings of my dinner so I had lunch for today but now I have 1 1/2 servings. I don't know if I should wait on cooking up the beef and zoodles tonight or if I should freeze my half serving for Thursday night/Friday. I'm afraid I won't have enough for lunch tomorrow so I guess that will be determined by how much I eat at lunch today. It is a big ol' filet of salmon so I doubt I'll finish and will have plenty. Water was okay, got my 66oz in but I need about 10 more to reach my goal. I had time last night, I just didn't. Oops. Not dog sitting tonight to save on some gas and maybe get some sleep so hopefully I can focus on me.
10/03 - Scale flashed 159.8 a few times taunting me with my 150s again. I can't believe that 145-150 used to be my stuck place and now it seems I keep going to the 160s. Until late 2018/early 2019, I'd never been in the 160s before. Ah well, I'm on a downward trend. I ended up at my neighbors playing Rummikub until it was too late so we 4 split a large pizza. I got veggies on mine and only had my two allocated slices (though I could've eaten way more) to stay within calories. The wonderful thing about splitting food with others! Wondering if that 159.8 number was telling me what I would've had if I ate my salmon and veggie dinner instead? But, I needed lunch for today and I was helping pay for the pizza. Hopefully I can squeeze in a workout today, despite it being so cold (finally hit 40*F here) and I won't want to go outside, even just to walk the quarter mile to our on-site gym at work. If not, I'll bundle up and take the dog for a walk tonight, weather permitting.

10/07 - Stayed night at BF's so no scale. Pup and I went for a walk on Friday and yesterday. Yesterday was really long because a stray dog kept following us. She isn't fixed yet (I think we can, now, but there was something medically we couldn't risk putting her under for) and the other dog didn't look it, either. So I got to the kids mom's place and she scared the dog off (the way I came from) so I had to take the long way around the opposite direction. Luckily, I just bought her a harness so it was much easier to control her and not have to worry about a collar slipping off and her running. Food wasn't great this weekend but I cooked some breakfast egg casserole Friday and some turkey&black bean tacos which I'm still slowly munching on. I have some other foods to cook this week, minus Wednesday. My lovely neighbors are taking me out for a birthday dinner (: A bit of a splurge I'm okay with. Just means I have to behave the rest of the week!
10/08 - Not bad for TOM arriving yesterday afternoon. I've tried Kombucha lately and now I love it. I don't feel so bloated! Unfortunately, I have to go out of my way into a different town to get it because my town's store doesn't have it. So today I'm going without for the first time in 4 days ): Unless I can get some to have with dinner tonight. Going to stock up. And now lactose bothers me even less so maybe I can naturally get my calcium! Did my first run yesterday. Doing a 5k training on Nike Run Club and it was 10 minutes. First time in years (army- before my broken back) I ran 10 minutes without stopping. So proud. Tomorrow I have a benchmark run of 15 minutes. It'll be good to help offset my dinner the neighbor mamas are taking me to! Depending on how I feel, I may go walk it off during lunch today or just take the dog for a walk tonight.

09/30 -191.9- I used to panic if I had an uptick in weight. I wanted a fast solution and I took even a small fluctuation as a failure on my part which then led to failure on my part. Now I know fluctuations are normal and I am doing well if I trend downward over time. Stick to the program and it will work!
10/01 -191.6- I went walking yesterday and it is so hot here in KY, still in the 90's. Come on fall temps!
10/02 -190.7- Keep going! You are worth it!
10/03 -190.1- My back and legs hurt after walking last night. I swear I think it is the hot temps that are to blame. Thankfully, the weather is about to turn fall-ish around here!
10/04 -189.9- Slow and steady, that's what I am aiming for! With my daily walk I have about 1500 calories to work with. I am not going hungry at all and I can even work in things like a serving of chips (not 3/4ths of a large bag!) now and then. I want this to be a healthy lifestyle change and not just fast weight loss so I am aiming for sustainability.

10/09 -188.5- Yes! Did not feel well after eating out yesterday. Neither my husband nor I slept well last night. I did manage to meet my calorie and exercise goals and I am happy with the results of this round!10 -

09/30 190.2 (+2.4) man I'm bouncing all over the place! Still have this cold so maybe I'm retaining water? We will see what happens tomorrow.
10/01 189.8 (-0.4) yesterday was brutal. Sick still. Went to the metabolic clinic for my check in and apparently the 6lbs I've lost in these two weeks are solely water. Super disappointing since I felt like i was making progress. Guess I gotta double down.
10/02 188.8 (-1.0) stuck to plan. 12000 steps. No workout.
10/03 187.6 (-1.2) the clinic results have me wondering if I'm just losing water still. I don't see how it's possible since I was fairly low carb to begin with. I'm down a total of 10.5 lbs since Aug 12 or 7.5 weeks. Yesterday I didn't eat much. A stuffed pepper, an inch of pepperoni, a chicken stir fry (no rice) and a protein shake. I wasn't hungry and I had a lot of energy so maybe it's ok?
10/04 187 (-0.6) no energy yesterday although I did get my workout in. I'm not over this cold from last week so just feeling weak and tired.
10/05 187.2 (+0.2) food was ok. Did 13K steps. Sil sick and TOM coming up so I expect a water hike soon.
10/06 188.4 (+1.2) TOM weight. Ate within plan but did have two margaritas last night. Didn't seem to throw me out of ketosis this am so that's good.
10/07 189.2 (0.6) wrong way wrong way! Probably just TOM water weight still. Feeling so tired and weak def won't be doing my workout
10/08 187.4 (-1.8) ok water weight starting to drop. Hoping I drop another lb tomorrow. Lots of walking yesterday but no workout.
10/09 186.4 (-1.2) Whew made goal! I'm hoping to be in the 185.x before weekend but I won't get to weigh in on Friday. Away on family vaca this weekend and going to try to stay keto.

REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

10/5 119.5 Yesterday we went to see The Peanut Butter Falcon with DH then Sweet Tomatoes for dinner after. All veggies but did splurge on broccoli cheese soup and a bit of focaccia.
10/6 119.5 Dinner at Carlito’s last night. I ordered chilies relleno and calabacitas. It was two large Hatch chilies dipped in batter, deep fried and smothered in green chili. Soooo good but after eating half, I was stuffed. And then the sopapilla - I gave most to Carl. I fully expect my weight to go up in the next couple of days especially with the pool closing party tonight. I bought low carb Margarita mix.
10/7 121.0 I’m okay with this. I ate tortilla chips and salsa last night at the party and had low carb Margaritas. Ate lots of meat - mostly pulled pork. Delicious and we’ll see what the effect is in a couple of days.

09/30 – 125.2 – same weight for the 3rd day in a row. I haven’t been the best this weekend, so I might see that in the next couple of days. I am at my goal of 125 but would like to lose just a couple more pounds and maintain between 120-125.

Round 90 was the worst of the the last few rounds. I’m going to keep joining though and keep trying. I need to get my diet under control and start doing some form of exercise again. I think I need to update my excel sheet and start tracking my numbers again that was motivating me to see the trends going down.

09/30: 302.4 lbs (+3.3) … I had a similar uptick at the start of last round. I overcame it then, I’ll do it again this time.
10/01: 301.9 lbs (-0.5) … Some uptick recovery. Had a good run this morning in the rain (Couch to 5k Week 7 Day 2 complete). Got two compliments about my weight loss at work
10/02: 302.4 lbs (+0.5) … Yesterday’s progress, erased. Likely water retention due to more exercise -- was pretty active yesterday. Ran in the morning, walked at lunch, then spent 1.5 hours playing Beat Saber in the evening. Wound up at around 17,000 steps for the day.
10/03: 300.1 lbs (-2.3) … There we go. Almost back to my round start weight. Completed Couch to 5k Week 7 Day 3 this morning.
10/04: 301.7 lbs (+1.6) … meh.
10/05: 299.5 lbs (-2.2) … Back down to sub-300 thankfully. Still up a little for the round though.
10/06: 297.3 lbs (-2.2) … This is what I wanted to see! Now to keep it off for the remainder of the round, heh. Completed Couch to 5k Week 8 Day 1 this morning.

10/1 165.9 Went to the gym and lifted weights, maybe that's the water retention? I haven't lifted in 2 weeks so maybe. I upped the weight on my legs and they are sore this morning! I have errands to run after work, but I hope it will be cool enough after that to get in a walk before dark. I am so ready to be in the 15Xs. My friend Mark that has been staying with me since July 9th is leaving today. I will have my house back and he will be on the next leg of his journey.

10/2 167.2 I had 4 dunker cookies last night right before bed. I didn't have time to walk after the errands. It's supposed to rain today so no walking outside. I think I'll do the treadmill. I haven't eaten enough calories to gain this weight. I'm sure it's water retention. My legs and arms are still sore from lifting.
10/3 166.9 Well that's something at least. I walked 3.25 miles last night, some in the rain. I found a new and interesting trail. I actually found it weeks ago but I've been waiting until my leg would cooperate. It was so nice, not the rain but the walk. I still feel puffy so we'll see what happens in the next few days. I feel I should be around 163 or 164 like I was last week.
10/4 166.7 I've eaten at maintenance the last couple of days. I had too many errands to walk last night. I'm in a bit of a funk over the roommate thing. I'm consumed with guilt for no legit reason. I think maintenance is ok for a week or so. I just need to stay away from sweets and I would be good. That is my comfort food. It took all my strength to not get the hot pumpkin pretzel with cream cheese dipping sauce for breakfast this morning. I don't know how many calories it had but I'm sure I can spend those on healthier choices even on maintenance.
10/5-10/7 166.6 For the last three days. I didn't exercise all weekend. I decided to put off the conversation with my friend until next weekend and instead of giving her 30 days we're going to work on a moving strategy together. She'll never be able to do it alone. This has to be realistic or it won't happen.
10/8 167.1 The slight uptick is sodium. I'm sticking to maintenance for the next week or two. I will continue to track because maintenance is still a restriction compared to my old eating habits.
10/9 167.2 Yesterday was a good day. We had Oktoberfest Goody day at work - so the sodium was high (Kraut and brats) but calories were ok. I had a lighter dinner. Somehow eating at maintenance gives me a little freedom I think I've been craving. Got in a 3.8-mile walk last night, that might be why I felt like it was a good day. Rainy today so I'll be going to the gym for weights. It doesn't give me the endorphin hit that walking does but I can see tangible results in my arms, legs, and dare I say ab region. Don't get me wrong, no six-pack but I can tell there are muscles where once I thought it was just fat.11 -
I’m reframing this journey as an ongoing, lifelong pilgrimage to healthy living with reaching and maintaining a healthier weight as one of several goals.

10/09 …..189.2….. I am very happy to have exceeded my goal. I’m not sure why the bump up. My knees are very sore from the long hike yesterday. I’m thinking inflammation or I am still feeling the water retention/sodium effects of the Chinese Food splurge day before yesterday (or both). A Very long Travel Day so I expect I will start tomorrow on the wrong foot, but today I am happy with what I have accomplished this round. Yesterday’s stats: 1066 Calories In / 2716 Calories out. 33 Net Carbs. 19,209 Total Steps & 8.17 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours on the button. I did a hike style walk at the hiking trail (no backpack) for 85 minutes walking about 3.0 up & down the rugged terrain. I fit in a quick 11 minute walk yesterday evening walking a slow 2.0 pace with neighbors dog. Total Extra Calorie Burn 508. Wow! What wonderful accomplishments in loss, maintenance & fitness I have seen this round in all my comrades! Congrats to all! 30: 222.0 I expected a gain this morning, maybe not quite so much though. I went to a fundraising meat raffle at a local bar and grill. Drank some red wine. I opted to cheat ordering deep fried pickles. Figured chicken wings would be a decent choice considered the menu options, but they had breading on them (usually bone-in wings don't around here). It all added up, but I had a lot of fun. I am glad that I don't frequent places that have an entire menu of unhealthy foods though. I'm also glad this is at the beginning of the round rather than the end.

Hi-I’m Karen and I am back.
I was gone for a while doing the “30 Day Alcohol Experiment “. It is free online and it is time consuming because you get a video or two daily to watch and have to log in your diary, so I spent more time on that. It was very interesting because it helps you to figure out why you drink. It can also be used to figure out why you eat. It’s your conscience and subconscious not working together (cognitive dissonance)-you wake up in the morning, planning on have a great day of eating or living healthy and all of a sudden, it the end of the day and you’ve poured yourself a drink and grabbed the bag of chips and that’s dinner! Any way, it was educational learning about cravings only really lasting something like 7 minutes and dealing with things that trigger binging, and this can be applied to food, alcohol or even other problem areas in your life. I found it because I was searching in MFP for a “No Alcohol Challenge” and stumbled upon this. The end.

09/30 290.2 I wasn’t expecting that big of a drop today.
10/01 290.6 I expected a little bounce when I had chicken soup for lunch. I’m sure that it will be gone in a day or two and will hopefully take my cold with it.
10/02 289.8 I’m still fighting my cold but I’m managing to stay on track. This is the lowest that I’ve weighed in nearly 16 years. I was about this weight when I met my husband and a little higher than this when I got pregnant with my middle child.
10/03 288.8 I had a lot of energy yesterday, but my appetite was low. I got my new exercise bike yesterday and used it right away. I only did 20 minutes because I didn’t want to over push myself. My plan is to do 30 minutes a day.
10/04 289.0 I’m feeling dehydrated this morning. I don’t think I drank enough for how active I was yesterday. I’m a little sore and still fighting the last of my cold so I think I’ll take a rest day today.

10/06 287.0 I took a rest day yesterday and my sore hip is feeling much better. I have errands to run today and I’ll see if I can get some biking in afterwards or if my hip needs another day.

10/02 - 198.5! Wow, can't believe I managed to lose while traveling abroad for a week. Very pleased with this result and now I feel like I can confidently say that I am in ONEDERLAND!!!! 10/03 - 198.4! Down a little even though all I did yesterday was be a lazy jet lagged lump with a huge appetite. Getting back on the horse now that my vacation is over, heading back to work, going to the gym and sticking to my food goals! Excited to keep making progress for the rest of this challenge
10/04 - 197.2! Wahoo! So happy to be making so much progress. I'm almost at my second milestone goal of losing 20 lbs! Maybe I can even get there next challenge. Fingers crossed... In the meantime, got lots of work and exercise done and met my food goals. I bought some KetoChow so now I just have to work up the courage to actually try it. I usually hate protein powder texture and I'm worried it will be like that, but I need to try before I decide I dont like it. I figure it will make future travel easier. Just got a temp side job of leading a few camping trips this fall so this could be a good food option in lieu of eating the sandwiches campers get.
10/05 - 197.6! A little bit up but my trend is way down so I'm still happy. Feeling SO tired today, maybe jetlag is finally kicking in or maybe my depressions is just taking over again. Went to a huge tailgate today and managed to drink nothing but water and just eat the taco fillings but none of the taco shells, so I'm pretty proud of myself. No exercise today, barely managed to get myself out of bed today, so I count standing and talking for a few hours at a tailgate as a pretty good accomplishment.
10/06 - 196.6! Still exhausted... can barely get off the couch. Forced myself to do a little house work and some watercolor youtube tutorials. Didn't get much accomplished today, my head and neck are hurting a lot and I feel really rundown.
10/07 - 195.4!!! I hit the 20 lb mark! WAHOO!!! On the down side, I have had a big migraine most of the day and my throat is super sore, but I'm not so tired anymore so maybe I'm trending towards improvement. Had to cancel my personal training session this morning, head hurts way too much to exercise. But sticking to my diet and trying to continue making progress at work even though I feel like I want to just lie in bed all day. Trying to cheer myself up with my big 20 lb milestone! Almost a third of the way to my ultimate goal weight, which is so exciting. I still don't really see any difference in the mirror, but that might just be the paper towel roll theory at play. Accepting this as a win and looking forward to feeling better and making more progress
10/08 - 195.8! A little bit up but still at the 20lbs lost mark, so I'm still psyched! Feeling much better today, actually able to get work done and eat and exercise normally. Happy to be healthy again

09/30 120.9 Up from 1.3 lbs from yesterday so not the best start - water retention from DOMS, salt (tortilla chips :-) from lunch yesterday, and BP medicine ran out over-weekend and forgot to pick up Rx Friday. Girl Power this morning and will hopefully burn off fat/water with cardio this evening at spin class!
010/01 120.1 Heading back down! Cardio day - cycle in am and then a circuit class in the evening. Ended up doing 80 push ups during the circuit class - hopefully won’t be too sore. Good recovery meal of homemade arugula pasta with smoked yellow tomato sauce, roasted garlic puree and arugula oil.
010/02 119.2 Continued down and back below end of round 90 and almost back to recent low. Will take more time as within 10 pounds of goal and a lot of these fluctuations are more likely water than fat/muscle loss. Girl Power this am (last class sad to say) and finished with our choice - focused on squats - up to 85 pounds @ 5 reps now on back squat and feel comfortable now working on my own. Improved max rep of pushups to 21 and reduced weight on machine assisted pull-up so definitely getting stronger (much better metric of progress than weight from scale!) continuing daughter’s veggie week them so pasta again, cavatappi with smoked eggplant and red peppers with ground beyond beef and smoked mozzarella. Hopefully good recovery meal after heavy leg day (squats/cycle in evening)
010/03 117.8 Whoooosh! This was unexpected, but likely water. Did not have a huge amount of fiber yesterday, so expect that tomorrow weight will be back up. Good news is that if it is water should be able to hang out around this weight once it stabilizes. Busy with work so did not get to the gym this am, so took a much needed rest day. Wasn’t really sore from squats, but power in cycle class was below FTP last night so probably need some recovery time. Going to do an ab workout and then call it a day!
010/04 118.8 As expected. back up a pound but really on track so happy with where I am. BMI is still below 24, but still have some belly fat and flab on thighs, lower back to work on. Power back to where it should be today in spin class - not sure if it was from taking a break or just the other bike was not calibrated the same, but felt much better today. No time for weights today, so will try to work in strength workout over the weekend.
010/05 117.6 OK this was a surprise, but I’ll take it. If I can stay in the 117’s I will be able to make my optimistic goal for this round! No time to get to the gym today, so going to do a workout on the elliptical here at home. Grilled swordfish with mango sauce, black beans & jasmine rice, plus greens for dinner and since it is the weekend wine tonight.

010/07 118.2 up a little but on track! DOMS in glutes from deadlifts yesterday and weighed earlier than past few days (food retention). Great cardio workouts this am (step and cycle) Still have time to make STG!
010/08 118.8 Food retention issue not relieved prior to weigh in (sorry for TMI) however much better once the morning latte kicked in prior to the gym, so maybe there will ge a drop tomorrow for the end of the round! Moved on to workout 3A in “Strong” this am with trainer so feeling it right now in the quads/glutes (single armed deadlift with kettle bell and Bulgarian split squat) plus chest, shoulders, core (they are not complaining yet :-). Finished up with a 30 minute HIIT workout on the treadmill - was able to move up to a 6mph pace for 60 seconds at peak hr zone, and then recovery for up to a minute at 4.5-5 mph. Treadmills have freaked me out, but know I need to mix up my cardio a bit more. Calories good for the day.
010/09 117.6 GOAL!! (ok made goal for this round and back to lowest weight in round!) Legs still sore from workout yesterday even with foam rolling, but will head to spin class this evening hoping the cardio will help loosen them up (often does). Calories preplanned for the day and should be good. Making Chicken Banh Mi sandwiches tonight on Trader Joe Ciabatta rolls - still IIFIYM with the planning so nice carb treat!

Did really well in the last round. Hoping to finally hit a new decade this round. I am so close to my ultimate goal, but it seems so far away at the same time. I have to be so careful with everything to be able to lose at this point, so I am going to work really hard. My goal is to hit 139 at least a couple of times this round and continue to bring my 10 day avg down at least another pound.

9/30 - 145.9 not off to a great start. We drank a lot yesterday and did a lot of snacking on foods that I normally wouldn't eat. Tons of carbs/sodium and beer were consumed all day. Tailgating and watching the Cowboys game with the hubby made for a great Sunday though. Now to get back on track and get somewhere this round. I am getting to old to party like we used to, I feel terrible today and I am just hoping to get my water in. I have a feeling it will an early night for me.
10/1 - 146.5 I have no idea what's going on. I had a medication change that started Saturday, so maybe I am holding onto some water or something or maybe this is the rest of my Sunday's bounce. I know I did splurge a little to much, but geez, I don't think 5.6 pounds worth by any means. I better not see it go up again tomorrow, it will eventually drop, I just have to be patient.
10/2 - 143.9 water weight is my enemy! Hopefully I will be back down tomorrow all the way. Was on track all day yesterday accept I did have a flour tortilla with dinner. Other than that excellent day and so far on track today.
10/3 - 143.2 I think I would have been lower, but had to eat on the run last night for dinner. Hubby and kids wanted pizza which I can usually get away with. Of course the pizza restaurant we chose did not serve salads (even pizza hut has a salad), I was shocked. So I went with 1 slice of veggie pizza and a couple of chicken wings. I thought for sure that would be fine. Usually if we order from our local place I can eat a salad and a couple of bone in wings and be well under my allotted dinner calories. I ended up 200 calories over, 40 fat g over, and 2000 mg of sodium over. I don't know what this place does to it's wings, but I would have been better off eating a couple slices of pizza. I was shocked when I went home and logged my dinner. So water and clean eating is on the menu today.
10/4 - 142.0 Feeling extremely bloated and uncomfortable all day. My stomach still isn't 100% cooperating with the new meds, so hopefully bu next week I will be better. I am exactly where I was last Friday. I am still fighting to get into the 130's, but I think it's going to take longer than I thought.

10/7 - 143.2 Fell last night and am really sore today. Going to a movie and relaxing with the hubby and hopefully will be back down tomorrow.
10/8 - 144.9 kind of shocked I am up so much today again. This has to be from water retention and the fall I took on Saturday night. I am feeling better today and not quite as sore as yesterday, but can definitely feel my age. No popcorn or snacks of any kind at the movies and ate on track all day yesterday. I was not good about water though.
10/9 - 143.6 still higher than I thought I would be, but not terrible after a 3 day weekend. I am up about a pound for my 10 day average. but this one included 2 weekends and one of them was a 3 day one. Didn't lose anything, but still working hard. I will eventually see that new decade and meet my goal weight. Onto the next one, maybe I will see a nice little whoosh!11
