Hello Everyone,
I'm a 5'1, 26 year old woman from Australia. I've decided to buckle down and focus on losing my post high school weight for a second time. I've always had a bad relationship with food and I've had issues with my weight since I was around ten when I started gaining weight. By the time I reached fifteen I had enough of feeling unhealthy and being bullied. I slowly went from obese to a healthy weight by exercising, cutting back on snacking and stress eating, it was that easy when my parents cooked my meals. I kept my weight under control for the rest of high school and during my gap year but I still saw myself as the fat girl maybe that made it easy to fall back into old habits. It started slowly during my first year of university when I noticed it was hard to button the blouses I liked to wear. Ignored the weight gain buying larger clothes, until it hurt to walk and I accepted that I couldn't wish the weight away. I lost around 20kgs when I discovered this site, going from over 98 to 80kg. During this process I had an operation and discovered that I'd went from 64 to over 98kgs between my wisdom teeth removal in 2012 and late 2015. In mid 2016 at 80kgs I stalled, between feeling better and the stress of starting a job, I started binge eating again and now I had the freedom and money to go all in. The weight slowly piled back on and now I weigh 110kgs. I knew I was putting weight back on but hopping on the scales and seeing that made me realise just how far I've slipped. I knew it was bad when I almost grew out of my work pants again and my acid reflux become almost unbearable. I'm aiming to lose half a kilo a week and get back into long distance running as I enjoyed it when I was losing before. I'd like to get to my goal weight by January 2022, join my sister's field hockey team and be fit enough to run the local marathon in 2023.
Start Weight: 110kgs (242lbs)
Goal Weight: 50kgs (110lbs)5 -

Hello All from Nawlinz ( New Orleans )! I'm currently trying to lose some weight after having my second (and maybe my last) child. I'm breastfeeding so this can be a struggle since I need the calories to make the milk but also need to watch my intake to help me lost some of this belly fat. My plan is to detox for 10 days then workout and do low carbs only or no carbs... we should see how this goes. I need a support friend and am willing to text or chat it up from time to time. I just need a motivational partner. thanks in advance.1

So I’m here again... I can either be my best friend or worst enemy when it comes to healthy eating and dieting.
I not only want to change my eating habits but become fit and healthy and stay like it!! I would like to become friends with people who are also looking to make a change long term. I need to stay and keep motivated and I hoping I will find people that can help.
Thanks guys 😊💪🏼🥦2 -

Wow! How did you stay motivated the entire time? Motivation is something that I struggle with. Not at first, but when I mess up one day, I feel like I have to start from scratch
Also, I'm new to MFP and would love to have a support group that can hold me accountable. Right now I'm on a basic calorie deficit with long walks here and there.
Sorry just seen your comment now. Honestly I just told myself to persevere for the first 2 weeks. And when I seen my first SMALL results I knew it was working just gotta keep going for another 4 weeks to see the next results and each time there were bigger better results. 1 slip up won't undo all your hard work. I figured if I slipped up, ill reset start again the next and focus. And honestly that's all I keep doing. Then I start seeing muscle definition I never knew I had and that motivates me .2 -
