Melionfire wrote: »Hope everyone is killing their goals this week! This month, I have a goal of sticking to my guns during the weekends. Like most people, I go hard during the work week. Usually have planned suppers at night and leftovers for lunches. I am a gym teacher so I never sit at work and have a high activity level. But any progress made is usually out the window come friday afternoon. Family meals, late night snacking and maybe a few drinks and i am back at square one. So this is the month i hope to change that! We can do this. The only thing between me and my goals is me!!! Consistency is key:)
This is so me Melionfire! The weekends totally set me back and I would like to be as steadfast on the weekends as I am during the week. Consistency is the key. In fact I like to choose a word or two for my year and "Consistency" is one of my words!2 -

I have been trying to lose weight almost my entire life. I hate how I look and even being under the care of a doctor, nutritionist, and personal trainer hasn't helped at all.
I am finally getting married this Summer and would like to have this one day in my life that I don't hate how I look too much to even look in a mirror.
People have told me doing things like this where you have to tell people your weight somehow helped them. At this point I will try anything.

Fall of last year I read Miracle Mornings and began to put myself first. I wake up at 4 am, work out, meditate, read and listen to music before waking my three kiddos to start the day. I feel so much better! The holidays hit hard with lots of company and overindulging. I am happy to be back into my routine.
Here's to us in 2020!

I'm the plateau queen so we will see how things go. I had dropped to 199, but got stuck for TWO months and after the holidays jumped back up to my current weight.
Hoping my body acknowledges the new year and decides it won't plateau in 2020

I am in... We are leaving on a cruise Jan 26. I need to lose 20 lbs overall, but losing 10 by cruise date will be good. My plan is to stay active and eat healthy during the cruise to minimize weight gain.... I will check in on Monday mornings. Good luck to everyone!

I’ve been slowly gaining weight basically since I finished college and stopped walking 5 miles a day to my classes (lol). I’m going to Mexico in April with my husband and I want to feel my best on the beach and hiking the ruins!! I need some accountability!

Happy New year!!4 -
I have gained so much weight over the last 2 years due to medication, poor diet and lack of exercise. I've gone from being very active/fit and at a healthy weight in 2017 to unfit and very overweight. I want to get back to being fit and healthy. I like running and have a couple of half marathons and marathons this year so training for these will help with the fitness journey, my issue is lack of motivation to exercise which I'm working on.

I’m sure so many people relate to this! I used to think if I was good all week the weekend could be less structured... but Friday-Sunday is almost half of the week. I’m setting myself monthly resolutions. My January goal is to only eat out or order takeaway once per week. Really hoping the focus helps get me to my goals and stay there! Good luck on your journey1 -

That is a great goal!! I am lucky in that I live in a very small town therefore not many options for eating out. When I lived in the city, I was constantly getting take out. You got this!!5
