Hello my peoples,
Clearly not starting my sleep plan early! This is what I do when I am stressed and sleep-deprived, I stay up too late. Doesn't make sense I know. Was in a bit of a funk today, but still managed to get a lot done. A lot of people are out sick with the flu which is stressful. Excited tomorrow (I guess today!) is Friday!
@meraki6 What are banana oat balls? Sounds amazing-can you share your recipe?
@Snowflake1968 Those are fascinating facts...also terrifying
@teagansdad have a great time on your trip!
@TerriRichardson112 Please add a Shamrock for "today" (27) Thank you!

Too much wine and not enough water yesterday combined with flying means I’m dehydrated today. I’m also feeling lazy ...... I will have another cup of tea then get on with the chores. Hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

WFTY: DEPTH
Depth Year - UpdatesI definitely have way too much stuff. I need to streamline my existence, resist adding more stuff, and start using what I have already got. I have been working towards doing this for several years with my decluttering. I need to stop the march of consumerism, and putting money into the pockets of other people by buying things I want rather than actually need.Daily Goals
03 Jan: This is going to be way harder than I thought. Need to work out strategies and guidelines for what I can and cannot purchase.- I have a stack of books which I haven't read. I will read one of those book a month, and not buy any more books this year. I will source any other books I want to read at the library.
- Book 1: The Illusionists - Rosie Thomas ✅
- Book 2: Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine, Gail Honeyman✅
- Book 3: Nothern Lights Ch 8
- I have closets full of clothes that no longer fit. I will work my way through them over the next two months, and either alter them to fit, or donate them to charity.
- 07 Jan: One bag already full and ready to go to the charity shop
- I have a lot of Craft supplies. I will optimise what I have before I buy any new supplies. Sticking to this one will be difficult.
- 07 Jan: Depth Year: I have Patchwork Craft this morning. I will pick out one of my ongoing projects and work on it to completion. No new projects until I have finished at least 3 ongoing ones.
- 14 Jan: Craft Group: working on patchwork project from last Tues.
- Food: log All food and drink; stay under goal; balance macros/micros; Hydrate adequately; NLNS!!!
- Exercise: Knee Physio; 7,500+ Steps daily; 30 + minutes intentional exercise
- Other: Daily Mindfulness Practice/Meditation; Practice Self-care; Positively reframe thoughts; Live! Love! Learn!; 15 mins Daily Declutter session; keep up to date with chores
JFT Sun 1 Mar
Daily Goals:
Activities:- after Lunch: visit DED and grandsons

Morning! I missed yesterday and have a lot of catching up to do. I’m in a bit of a slump this week. I started off good, but my schedule got really busy for the end of the week and I basically took a diet break. The scale will not be my friend tomorrow. It’s amazing how quickly one bad decision will snowball into days of bad decisions.
I’m really getting desperate for some warmer weather and sunshine! I can feel spring in the air, but it’s not coming quick enough for me.

JFT SUNDAY:
- singing for 3 masses
- Get kids to/from CCD
- Grocery shop
- Continue working on taxes
- Continue making plans for hubby’s 40th6 -
Good morning!

Get both kitchen floors moped
Clean everything off the treadmill (it has become a catch-all) and walk at least 15 minutes

Yesterday went about how I expected. Pizza...and really more my sister-in-law’s rhubarb crisp and cherry pie made my resistance futile.
I blew past my caloric goals almost 500 calories
On the flip side
-had a great day on slopes
-my daughter crushed the slopes too
-stayed with only 2 beers
-had a fantastic time w the in-laws
Sunday goals
-no beer
-track everything
-do a quick workout
-try to stay in calorie goal (even if just one calorie) 😀6 -

I hope everyone is well! Today is rainy and gross outside so it's dark and gloomy. I have had zero motivation to do anything, not that there is much that I can do to begin with. Lol. I should be working on my story but honestly, I've just been lazing around staring at the wall. Although I did put a few books on hold at the library that Mom said she would pick up for me and I took a shower.
I havent been watching what I've been eating at all. I haven't done any major binges and other than the 3/4 of a huge chicken parm sub I ate the other day I've been pretty good about staying under maintenance. At least I feel like I have. I need to start logging again. I don't have ANY shamrocks and I really want to get into the challenge!
My bestie and I made vision boards yesterday. I had a lot of fun doing it! I'll include a picture. It's currently on my living room wall because Matt wanted it there. Lol. I thought he was crazy but I put it there anyway. Lol. And I made an accompanying list of goals that I am going to post on the wall next to it. I think a lot of it is very doable but I also know that a bunch of it is also going to take time and actual discipline to accomplish too. I also wrote a smaller list with first and second steps to those goals that I can start working on in a few weeks, after I've healed up a bit more.
I can tell that this year is going to be amazing for me! I am going to make damn sure that it is! Lol
Okay, so I am going to do like 3 very managable JFT goals for today and see if I can hit them.
JFT, 2/25/20
- Log all my food
- Februrary challenge
- write 1 chapter!!!
Awesome about the vision board Hannah. Based on the premise that "thoughts become things".Great to have motivating things staring back at you to help keep you forward in thought.
Glad you're recovering nicely. Sending you some extra loving hugs❤XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX1 -
Starting over again and looking for supporters to be with me and I can be there for them. Friend eachother please?
JFT i already did/had:
1. Found 2 recipes I want to make tomorrow I am soooo new to cooking. It is overwhelming but I am trying. I am proud i looked recipes up.
2. Looked for 10 minutes in giant, circling the fruit/veggie aisle 4x looking for zucchini for my recipe. I was totally frustrated because i could not find it! Ended up getting green squash. Come home and text my sister asking if zucchini is only grown a few times a year 😂 tell her I got green squash. Welp. I was educated, green squash IS zucchini. I DID find it, i just didnt know. 😂
3. Ate a meal I cooked for dinner, not fast food. Wooo
😂 GREAT POST. Welcome!💐💐1 -

It felt good to take a break from schoolwork and chores yesterday. Ran a few errands with my husband before my daughter came by with the boys. My budding cook opted to put an Italian twist on our garlic shrimp dish, so, at his request, we made cappellini instead of rice and rounded out the meal with peas (which both boys currently eat) and sliced hothouse strawberries and some dark chocolate for dessert. The seven-year-old rejected the shrimp (it had "stuff" on it) and wound up with a hot dog instead. Later we all snuggled up on the sofa to watch a movie - a relaxing end to a very nice day.
I start my sleep challenge tonight. I've set a "wind down" reminder, so I need have my online work done in good time. @jeschepp - I'm psyched to start this!
@TerriRichardson112 - please add a shamrock for me for 2/29
Lots to do today, so I'd best get to it!

- Log all my food!!!
- February challenge -
- WRITE AT LEAST ONE CHAPTER!!!!! -
So yesterday was complete failure. A great day but a complete failure. I kept the girdle off most of the day until late at night. I put it back on because I just couldn't get comfortable. I put it on loosely and it helped. My abs are still a bit tender but they dont hurt anymore. So that made me really happy!
We stay up until almost 2am last night. It was a D&D night. We had a great time with good friends! I can't wait until I can drink wine again because I find that having a few drinks makes it more fun. Hahaha.
I HAVE to write SOMETHING today. I had a goal of getting the story finished before Matt's next day off but I made that goal on Thursday and havent written a word since. I still have 13 chapters left to write and 3 days left. So I really dont know if that is going to happen. Especially if I can't make myself sit down and actually put words to paper. So I have 6.5 hours today by myself. I am going to force myself to sit in my office, leave my phone in the living room, and actually put pen to paper. Well words to screen. Lol.
Okay, enough babbling. Lol
Onto some goals!
JFT, 3/1/20
- LOG ALL MY FOOD!!!
- Restart Feb challenge for March because it was total failure
- Put something SOMETHING into my story
Okay. Have a great day guys!

Hi my lovely people!
Sorry for disappearing for two days. My anxiety around this job opportunity got the best of me, and my sleep was tanking. Friday and yesterday I was just exhausted, and ended up crashing both nights without checking in. I'll post tonight per usual, but wanted to update and see how everyone is doing. I have a meet and greet for the job tonight so I'll check in about how that went. So glad I'm doing this sleep challenge! @beachwalker99 are you ready? Let's do this! I'm going to be posting a tracker by my alarm, and setting a bedtime alarm on my phone today to prepare.
@tuddy315 You can join whenever! Pick your own goals, this group is very flexible. Welcome and good luck!
@PackerFanInGB Thank you for all of your exercise updates. I love hearing about the ups and downs and it really has helped me challenge some insecurities I've had about being so out of shape! I also love your description of the rolling pin! Sometimes I have no idea what personal trainers are really doing! They could be pranking me with a kitchen utensil and I would believe it
@asthesoapturns Nice work with all those hearts!!!
@bookmeister86 What is the difference between maintenance and being in the green? I'm so impressed with your mindset, in accepting the struggles and setting your mind on how to balance out as best you can. Well done.
@Kuhl50 Those photos look amazing!
