Just reached my first goal of losing 50 pounds. I gotta do that at least three more times to be in a decent range and ideally a fourth time to get down to my ideal weight. So I'm going to be at this for a couple more years.17

This summer I want to continue doing daily 20-30 minute yoga sessions, walk/jog 15k steps or more, learn how to do pushups, and get into the 150s. I've been hovering around 163-165. The 150s are so close!8

Getting under 2008

Finally broke into the 170s today! Was my first mini goal. Motivating me to my next two mini goals....be able to wear my wedding ring again after many years and to weigh in the 160s. The driver behind losing is because my glucose is up and they are watching for prediabetes. I don't want to have to take meds and go down the path of diabetes when i can prevent it with diet and exercise. The other driver is my cholesterol levels. Need to get my HDL into a good range and get off meds!9

Half a pound to pre-pregnancy weight and then only 10 pounds to wedding weight!10

wow...congrats.!!0

Obesity is a risk factor for covid-19 complications. Fear of imminent death is a great motivator.11

I want to get to the low 150s by the end of summer. Right now I'm sitting at 163-165.7

It can certainly be a great kick-starter! I hope that as you move more and farther into the process, you ALSO add positives like "continuing to be able to go a bit longer before getting tired / have less joint pain" "loving seeing changes in the tape measure readings" to KEEP you going in a way you will enjoy for ever.

Mini-Goal? Buy a new road bike, get to 175 w/BMI at 23 and 12% body fat. Two Christmas's back I was at 245.. I really let myself go, too many social gatherings w/food & great beir and me saying yes to everthing sad.. In Jan2019, started using an elliptical trainer and cycling (again), I was able to burn ~1,000 cal/day on the eliptical, and 1400cal/day cycling, thenI started really watching my diet and stopped drinking for 9MO, lost 45lbs in 9MO, now I cycle every day burning 1400cal/day, but I want, no - I need a new bike, a sexy black 12lb bike. My Goal, I hung a picture of it (Cannondale CAAD13) in my office, to see it everyday, as my goal to 175! Today I'm at 190 BMI at 26, so I still have 20lbs to go.... - Wish me luck.... O yeah, and Im 60 this year, so being healthy is leik #19

Next goal -Get BMI under 30. Then after that, move down 1 clothing size. Hoping to make both by 7/19

Two mini-goals:
1) Complete "You Vs Year 2020" challenge of 1,020km on app by my 63rd bday in October. I finished the challenge two years ago 2 days after my bday. 517km so far.
2) Weigh and maintain less than 160 lbs... I've been hovering in the mid- to low-160s far too long.6 -
30 lb down in 20 weeks. Not fast like some 'diets' i have been on but then when on them I gained back and gained more. today i watch macros and keep a log here and i am living my life daily. Biggest thing i have learned is one day does not make weight gain. its the days following. I am learning that just because i have a cheat day does not mean i have to quit. The Lord is my strength and gives me ability i just need to do it!! and i feel so much better now. God is good. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!!11

1. Wear my wedding ring again
2. BMI under 30
3. Not be prediabetic so get off meds
4. Going back to work as a healthier me in "the after", whenever that is
Plus, as others have noted, a healthier weight means less risk of succumbing to COVID-19.
Love feeling thinner and fitter, going down in clothing sizes, and finding "new" old clothes along the way.10 -

Been there! The last few pounds before a goal are always the hardest to lose! You can do it!5 -
Just met my most recent mini goal this morning! I've lost 20% of my starting weight! Moving on to 25%!13
-
10lbs down by mid July when family visits.
My chart makes it so clear I gained 10lbs since returning to work from maternity leave and 5 since lockdown - emotional / stress eating much?!6
