We started a veggie garden we have to make the border I'll just get started plants this time. Also when I'm in Nana's pool I can go to the bottom to get rings when I'm in without diving in now. I have to be on the side so I can push. Also I'm starting to kayak.3 -

Getting back on track after the birthday festivities! Having back (almost tailbone) pain this week and I hope it doesn't have too much negative impact on my workouts. Fingers crossed!3 -
Hey can I jump in?
Currently at a stall after losing 35 pounds, very slowly, trying to get things moving again with an endocrine disorder. My doctor says stay the course....just make sure 2/3 of calories are in the first part of the day---so that is my new focus.....dinners under 400 calories is not easy!

You'll never believe what I did! I had both hands full, and I got up off the couch with NO HANDS. Not even a hand on the thigh for leverage. I simply stood up.7

This has been a bad week for me I went up to 227 and now I am back down a little bit. Life has been crazy and I have gotten off track but I am still pushing and still trying to get there. Having a hard time with resisting the sweets! I would love to be able to get to my goal weight this next and final week or even get down to 220 or 221 would be nice. Have a great weekend everyone!

Back up. Time of the month and had a mental health day last week (COVID confinement, lack of new human interaction, and little to do at my internship started to actually drive me crazy so I let myself have a day... it is a round the world journey, not a race down main street). Still within striking distance of my June goal (250) if some of this is bloating. Still going to pat myself on the back for losing 5+ pounds in a month if I don't hit it.
Happy to see all the successes! You all are beautiful, wonderful people. *hug*2 -

I am working my butt off! Literally! I wish I could work my gut off too, but I'm not complaining!
As of this morning, I am now fewer than 20 lbs (19.4, to be exact) from my goal of a "normal" BMI. And I had some new shorts delivered yesterday that fit perfectly, 3 sizes smaller than where I started!

Arrrg since visiting my dad I have not really been counting my calories. Got to get back on this. I did a grocery shop lots of veggies and fruit. So here's to catching up with the wagon and high jumping back on. Man I hate feeling sluggish. Good news my husband started to count his calories. Also lol he is the exact same weight as me right now. Bad news it's on a different app he says if he changes he will stop so every weigh in day I'll get his info. He says I can look at his info anytime. He's on keep. He likes the fitness on it. He says I can look at his app anytime. The part that sucks is that every week it has been .5 to 1 pounds lost each week and in a week and half I've gone up 3 yikes!!!! I say no.!!!!!!

So glad this is here!! Ever since my thyroid gave out and then I gave up I’ve been struggling with yo-yoing. I’m trying to make better choices and am down 4 lbs in the last week or so. But....I’m starting really high....am I am currently 275.4. It’s insane that I’m almost 300 freaking pounds, but I’m trying not to let it stop me. I kayak, swim, bike, etc. Thanks for being nonjudgmental and supportive. Also, thanks for starting this!2

We put it on one pound at a time, we can take it off one pound at a time! Slow and steady wins the race, and I bet by now you're seeing some changes!

I've never joined a group on here before, but I would like to try it now. What can I say? I'm officially 37 today, and I am currently 330lbs. I have a desk job, which is now from home thanks to Covid 19, and a very bad emotional eating habit. My mom has a thing for this show called "My 600 pound life." Recently, I tried watching it with her and I realized I don't want to spend the rest of my life this way. So I'm trying to take the doctors advise in the show and try the 1,200 calorie a day route. I'm really hoping it works.3

I'm so happy for you that you are ready to make a change. We've all gone through that turning point, and it takes courage. My recommendation, although I am not a doctor or dietitian, is to drop your calorie levels gradually and add more movement into your day gradually, as well. I think you'll be more likely to stick with a program if you don't feel completely deprived and continue to feel satiated (both physically and mentally/emotionally). Choosing a calorie level that you will be able to stick with over time will make this easier, and I promise you will still see progress. Best of luck to you.5 -

Not a lot of scale movement this week, but I had a great non-scale victory this week: moving from the back of the shopping cart to the front of the shopping cart in the check out lane at Aldi without having to suck in my gut and barely squeeze through! This alone made the last 7 months of workouts worth the effort!
I did A LOT of intense aerobic workouts this week and a few of them with weights. My sister also finally convinced me to get down on the floor for some ab workouts. Boy is my tummy sore! But I guess that's how you know it's working, right??? I've been having a hard time fighting off cravings this week. I think I need to find some new healthy snacks (or resurrect some old favorites) to fight the monotony!
I wish you all the best for a week filled with healthy choices and a nice holiday weekend (if you're in/from the US and celebrating the 4th)!1 -
