Just got showered and catching my breath, so will review all your many posts in time. I can't believe I did it and really feel quite empowered. 5 hours out in the blazing sun dripping with sweat Carhartt T and Jeans soaked to cling with sports bikini under dripping sweat profusely. Half gallon of H2O downed. After I started I realized I needed to pee but realized if I quit I might not start again. After completion of edging, blowing, and mowing there was no increase in pressure to pee. I must have sweat out that entire half gallon. Back soon friend is taking me out for a milkshake. I earned it!!! I sprayed my hair to hold its sexy (haha) look and was pleased with the result. Before and after selfies. Sometimes I amaze myself. It got a bit frizzy due to the sweat but held general shape nicely.

Barbie: The “Imagine Your Story” shirt is great.
Rita: Congrats on your loss.
Pip: Wishing you & Kirby a safe journey!
Barbara D: Welcome!!! :flowerforyou: You have found a great group of supportive women. Stop by often to give and get support. When I began, I let MFP set my starting calories. As I lost weight, my allowed calories were reduced by the program. It worked a miracle for me, and that miracle took its own sweet time. The support from this group has been a keystone for me. I hope you will be as happy with your longterm results as I have been.

I so remember ' The Perils of Pauline' at the Saturday Matinees as a child. The cliff-hangers meant we could barely wait to go back the next week to see how she was rescued. 🤣🤣🤣🤣2 -
I just did another two minutes on my ministepper. Yay! That's about the fourth time. My knee is talking to me a little bit, but I can do this much.
I don't know about the beaches, that's two hours south of me.

Well final day of the quarterly Sumo Wrestling tornament. Our one favorite wrestler Hakuho, had to withdraw yesterday because of a sore knee. The tournament is 14 days long, so by the end there are many wrapped knees, fingers, and elbows! We have been watching faithfully for about 2 years so we know everyone. We give them nicknames, and shout at the tv! Its great fun!

Today is National Coloring Book Day!
Because I still love to color. "Coloring and coloring books have always been popular with children, but over the years, adults have gotten more and more involved with coloring. Obviously, adult coloring is now a huge trend. Many find that it is not only fun but also a great way to reduce stress. With so many colors and designs to choose from, coloring offers enjoyment in so many settings. They’re portable and come in a variety of sizes. Take coloring books on vacation with you for rainy days or to document a fun memory."
Debbie - The folks at the water garden store got me all fixed up with an algaecide that is safe for the fish (gambusia). First I needed to run a cheap fountain for awhile to make sure the water was full oxygenated. Now I can apply the algaecide to get rid of the algae that's there now, and once that's done I have a bottle of maintenance solution that is supposed to help keep down the organic matter or "muck" that the algae feeds on. It's a very tiny pond - contained within a big iron cauldron - so it shouldn't take much solution to keep it happy. And of course I also came home with a new water lily!
margaretturk - "How Can I Keep from Singing" is such a lovely piece and so uplifting. What a wonderful choice for your son's service. His last text to you is a beautiful legacy and I hope you can hold it close as you navigate your grief.
Barbie - A new month already! Thank you for keeping us moving forward.
auntibk - Our theme camp for the regional Burning Man event runs the FM public service radio station for the event. We wanted to keep sharing good music so that evolved into an open source, non-commercial community streaming radio station operated entirely by volunteers. We run 24/7 with an auto DJ and we've got a stable of regular DJs who do live sets every Monday and Friday and occasionally in between. The Monday and Friday live sets are rebroadcast via ShoutingFire.com, which is a an independent, international broadcasting collective, born on the playa and inspired by Burning Man.
Faye - Lack of leadership during the pandemic has led to disastrous COVID numbers in Texas. Our gym is open but we don't go because we're not comfortable spending that much time in an enclosed space with people who are breathing hard. They are doing their best to sanitize and we could do our part too by wearing masks and gloves during our workouts but that isn't too appealing either. I'd rather just go walking in the neighborhood and use the Nordic Track at home. I feel bad for the gym owners but we don't have health insurance so it's really important for us to play it safe.
Philip helped me out yesterday and we got the rear suspension on one of the motorcycles broken down. I already have someone interested in buying some of those parts so hopefully I won't have to mess with listing them on eBay but can just ship right out. The rest I still have to clean up and list. I was surprised at how fast it went once we got started!
This afternoon I spent a long time watching the return of the SpaceX manned flight. After all these years, it was still very exciting and I breathed a sigh of relief when the capsule splashed down.
I want another weekend day - I'm not ready for Monday yet!

Beth near Buffalo Faye... decrepit old woman needing special treatment or sexy vibrant senior who can kick that poor mannered boy's a**... you can't have it both ways!:D
Well, you paint quite a contrast and leave me no choice but to chose the sexy vibrant senior status. That young man was about 6' 7" and I would guess about 220 with arms as big as my legs. Be that as it may, I can still administer a solid knee to crotch blow. I would once have said, "Your manners leave a bad reflection on your mama." In today's climate with never knowing who is Antifa or other anti-establishment gang-involved, I keep my mouth shut. I must apologize for being a whinner and expecting special treatment. I understand the young man used his hormones and not his brains. Besides, I take responsibility because I was not wearing my dentures and he no doubts missed my sexy vibrancy.

Barbara South Or beach babe Wow, you are at the other end of the spectrum in finding a good fit sports bra. Anyone less or over a C cup with bust over 34" isn't going to find a good fit in the small, medium, and large selection, especially in my beloved racerback. I like fixed compression bras with no padding. The only ones that come with sizing have cups and underwires or something to determine cup size. They look like lingerie instead of sportswear. You might try CARVE I think they have some special for DD. I wear their old bralette style (now extinct) in large with adjustable straps and it is perfect for my 36 A. Dreading the day I must get new bras.3

Yvonne in TX Yes, best to play it safe! The sad thing is around here all the business took it seriously and really did the extra including gyms, but places like Wal mart were really lax and now shut down for 2 days to clean the entire store after many store employees became sick. They affected all the small business that was just recovering after the first wave. I never went to gyms. I was always afraid of all the other diseases that gyms are famous for. I designed my workouts to be efficient without the use of any equipment. I have a compromised immune system, so even with vitamin and diet therapy, I am as careful as I can be. The shingles almost killed me so I don't mess around with viruses as so many can be deadly.
Faye of the PNW - feeling sore muscles body-wide head to toe side to side.
Tonight I will pay dearly alas for my foolish superwoman act defeating tall grass.1 -
Plumb tuckered our busy doing very little most of the day.

Hello ladies! With my anxiety I was unable to stay on this site due to way too much posting about Covid back in March. Looks like that has calm down a little bit on here. Just thought I would touch base and let you know what I have been up to.5

Thank you for the information- I will pass it on to my parents- Their pond is bigger now and about 3 feet deep and they have a fountain in it. They have the little fish in there- the mosquito fish I think they said they were.

Another day of the simple life. Walked the dogs before breakfast, walked with the dogs and a friend after breakfast, walked mid morning with another friend, rode my exercise bike while watching the Mariners' baseball game with Jake. Did a few minor chores and spent some time on the computer with all my pals on MFP.
Rebecca, you're the first person I've known who watches sumo wrestling a lot. I've seen it a bit and thought it was quite interesting.
