Hi, joined August 2020 after a bout of COVID in July. Prediabetic and overweight. Just trying the Keto diet. 2 inches and 20 lbs. lost so far.

    Excellent. Congrats on your progress.

Happy new week middle aged friends!

I've decided now my boy is in school all day, up until now he'd come home for lunch, I will get fit. It's amazing how quickly the day goes by though. I'm not enjoying commuting but I guess I can't always be a princess hahah.

    Good morning everyone!

You all keep your pumpkin spice away from my margarita. I'm not done with summer yet. 🚣‍♀️ I am done with this humidity tho.

I'm in denial, need 80 degrees year round.

I know I’m stating the obvious (mini vent here. Lol) but it is so much harder to lose weight as you get older😫
    Ugh! So frustrating 😔

Hi, recently joined again after an apparent 6 year hiatus from MFP because when I joined back on it said "congrats on losing 48 lbs since your last login". ha!
I'm from Colorado - soon to go to England. I'm on Day 10 here and I've lost 10 lbs so far. Looking for motivation to keep up the trend. Good luck everyone.

Hi! Going to be 50 in December. Currently hitting 220 pounds. At 5 ft 3 inches thats a lot of extra weight and my knees are feeling it. I would like to shape up and lose some of that weight but am having trouble doing so.

I think there must be a problem with the body fat % algorithm on scales for those of us over 50...it surely doesn’t work. Seems stuck 😳

Why does it have to take so long to recover from throat surgery when you're older? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Good news I don't have to talk to anyone. 🤣😝

Yikes I'd think that takes awhile at any age. Hope you're feeling better

Planning some fall camping and fishing. Stupid work keeps interfering with plans for fun activities! AARRGGHH! Hoping the fires die down and the smoke clears out soon.
