@trooworld I got 25% today. Well, hopefully it's not COVID. I hope you get better soon. Sounds like you are turning your ship around. Good for you.

@mswatson0777. Rough goals: My first thought was Eh, you win some you lose some. That's not a good attitude. I did better today. Sounds like you are hitting your goals. Woohoo. How was the fancy dinner. I've been to one of them and because I'm a slow eater I'm not done yet with one course and I felt rushed or I was full before they got through all the courses. But it was fun and an experience.

@cbabie. That's good that you are keeping focused on movement right now. Once that's a habit you can move on. I've been getting flu shots the past three years or so. I kept getting sick each winter all of a sudden.

@retiredandlovingit. Your steps look good and now you have some good food goals. It's easier when both of you try and eat better. Enjoy the grandkids. Ds is settled. I was trying to get him registered to vote and he turned it in but he doesn't appear in the county page. GRRRRRR. Hopefully they are just behind. I don't know why they make it so hard for people to vote. Well, I do know but..... He's just trying to get all his car stuff transferred and license. He starts work on the 12th. They asked if he could start early and he said no. I need time to get all this done. I'm the kind of person who would have said yes and then stressed myself out.

@its_cleo. Yaaay on meeting your movement goals. How did you like the elliptical? I have one but would rather go to the dentist and get a tooth drilled. We bought it for dh. Yeah, flu and covid would be bad. Sorry to hear cases on the rise there. Seems everywhere. I hope we aren't going to have a bad winter.

Green Day. Stayed OP 211/238. Intentional movement 49 min walking

October goals: Green Dot day. o:) Drink 6 glasses of water. :| Burn 275 cals via movement. o:) Preplan day:(

@theslightedgeforever I know that the holidays can derail me if I let it. I’m going to really try not to let it this year. The one good thing COVID did for me is end all the extra church eating that normally happens. There won’t be the church Thanksgiving dinner or the Christmas concert dessert fellowship. I am having my annual staff Christmas party and I will cook for Thanksgiving and Christmas. But you are right that it’s only a few days. I’m really trying to focus on how good I will feel if I actually accomplish this goal. Or at least get close to it. ;)

@trooworld If you got the shingle shot then I almost guarantee that is why you are feeling bad. DH had his booster last month and it kicked his butt for a couple of days. Just take it easy and yes, if you don’t start improving then you need to get a test ASAP. <3

@mswatson0777 Ohhh your fancy dinner sounds lovely! How was it? I hope the calories were totally worth it. Great food and good wine are two of my favorite things! :)

@cbabie I’m glad that your little girl is keeping you active. It’s great that you are getting in some quality time to work on yourself. You deserve it!! <3

@RetiredAndLovingIt Yes, violas and pansies are the go-to flowers for winter down here. They should survive all the way into March. I just love their bright cheery colors! Sometimes super slow weight loss is good. It’s let’s your body adjust to what you have lost so far. Yeah, you DH needs to start doing better. I wish mine would too! :#

@its_cleo Good job on reaching your goal for movement. How do you like the elliptical? I used to own a really nice one and gave it away when I stopped using it and then I regretted giving it away. I am sorry that you will be alone for your Thanksgiving. I would still encourage you to make it special for yourself so that you will enjoy it the best you can. <3

Good morning! Well, yesterday I planted all 10 containers that are on my porch and repotted three house plants. The porch looks so good and I will try to get some pics soon to show it off. I have been so busy this past week, but it’s all been good stuff. DH commented on how much energy I have, and I agree that it feels good not to always be so tired out. I listened to a couple of podcasts yesterday from Dr. Ted Neiman about what foods to eat and he is a big proponent of getting in more protein than fats and carbs. I’m going to work on my menu this coming week and see how I can add in more protein and take out some of the high fatty stuff, like my precious nuts. OK, I’m off to workout and then go to church! :)

@teresaw1020. that's good that there will be a built in plan for holiday eating this year. Through no fault of our own. Your porch sounds pretty. I need to do some garden work myself.

@trooworld. You would have saved time posting if you had just put a disclaimer about your allergy symptoms at the top. lol. I kept reading your post to each person and it was the same thing. by the time you got to me, I was laughing out loud. But thank you for telling us individually. I got 25%. Nice new goal you have.

Red Day. Stayed OP. 97/100. Intentional movement: Rest Day

October goals: Green Dot day. o:) Drink 6 glasses of water. :| Burn 275 cals via movement.*** Preplan day o:)

@cbabie Sounds like Baby Girl is your own personal trainer, way to go!

@trooworld So sorry to hear you still aren't feeling well, but glad to hear it's likely allergies and not COVID. I hope the doctor's visit goes well.

@theslightedgeforever I wish I was a slow eater. I feel like I miss my hunger cues more than I should because of it but I have a hell of a time slowing down. Slowing down when I eat is definitely one of my upcoming goals since I think it will draw out my enjoyment a lot

@TeresaW1020 It sounds like you've gotten a lot of work in on your porch, I bet it's absolutely lovely! That podcast sounds really interesting, what is it called?

@its_cleo I'm getting the flu shot too! No way I'm messing around with two illnesses at once and I'm all for lowering my odds of getting sick

@RetiredandLovingIt It sounds like you have a really manageable plan for maitenance. I hope you had fun with your Grandkids!

Happy Monday all! I am not having a great Monday. I definitely overdid it this weekend and my stomach is not happy. The 6 course dinner was fabulous. The entertainment was so much fun and it was very socially distanced and COVID safe. There were belly dancers, and fire jugglers, and comedians, it truly brought the Renaissance Festival magic! I definitely had way too much wine though, and felt it for the rest of the weekend.

I walked into work today with well over 100 unread emails...from one day away...so this morning has been a bit of a headache. Honestly this entire week looks like a bit of a headache, I have multiple lunch meetings which always drives me nuts because then I have no breaks during the day. Sorry for being a bit of a Debbie Downer this morning, it's just always a hard transition going from an amazing weekend...to Monday.

morning all, I slept most of yesterday. Allergies were horrible. I love that baby girl loves to go on walks. It's good for both of us. Not much to say today.

@trooworld I am so sorry you are still feeling sick. Please keep us posted and I hope you feel much better and the Dr has a good word for you. I like the track 90% of food intake..I should take that idea from you . LOL

@TeresaW1020 yea on the pots, I am sure it's gorgeous. Yes I am looking for more protein in my diet too. I used to be much better at it..

@theslightedgeforever great job on staying OP and I am glad the flu shot worked for you.

@its_cleo I am glad to see you post. Sounds like you are in a good place emotionally and getting your physical back.. I am sorry to hear that you have to be by yourself at Thanksgiving. I haven't had a good holiday due to family drama in many years.. I don't even look forward to them anymore. I hope you find a good way to enjoy it. LOL you can have the flu shot..I don't know that I make the right decisions, but for now that is what I am choosing. LOL

@RetiredAndLovingIt Good for you on finding room for the peanut brittle. That was one of my moms favorites. Sorry to hear that DH sugar and cholesterol are elevated, but yes your right about maybe this will help you both...to still be retired and loving it..LOL. I love your outlook, you have a great on.

@trooworld I’m sorry that you are still feeling bad. Your eye sounds like you might have a sty and definitely need some meds. That must have been super frustrating trying to make a simple mask. When COVID first hit I tried to make my own DIY no-sew using an old T-Shirt. Yeah, that didn’t work out very well. I ordered masks from Shark vacuum of all places because they have a nose guard that is supposed to help with fogging glasses, and they come in large sizes. It’s the only one that my DH likes to wear. I can’t stand it or any of the mask that has polyester because I feel like I’m suffocating. I just stick with a thin cotton one when I’m forced to wear one. :/

@mswatson0777 The podcast that I really like for a variety of health topics is The Melanie Avalon Biohacking podcast and the one she does with Gin Stephens called The Intermittent Fasting Podcast. For Dr. Ted Neiman I just entered his name in the search and am hunting him down on lots of podcasts. He also has several YouTube videos that I plan on checking out. I figure that will save me money so I don’t have to buy his book.

@cbabie Our allergies are bad here as well. I don’t want to take my DH anywhere because I know people look at him like he has COVID. :o

Hi everyone! Well, this hasn’t been a very good day. I went to get that root canal done and the doctor told me that my tooth was so severely cracked that it has to be pulled. So, I gave him $450 and now I have to go to someone else tomorrow for an extraction and give him a bunch of money. Then I have to decide if it’s worth it to me to get an implant or just live with a hole in my head. This is NOT how I wanted to spend my week. I did take my super numb mouth up to the grocery store since I know I won’t feel like going tomorrow. Anyway, it is what it is. I’m going to go drink some coffee now that my mouth can feel again. :)

@trooworld. I got 100%. Goodness you are having problems right now. think of the upside....you have a working bathroom. I've been working on my gratitude journal each day, can you tell? ;)

@mswatson0777. So make that your goal this week. Eat slowly. I love Renaissance Festivals. Sounds like so much fun. they should make a system where your emails already come sorted priority wise. Like from key words that you enter ahead of time. How many of those 100 emails were really important? Now you can see I'm working on streamlining. lol.

@cbabie. The flu shot may have worked for me. I got sick a month later but looking backwards now, I think it's possible I had corona. I had all the symptoms for three weeks. Or just a strain of flu that was really bad. When they mentioned peanut brittle I immediately thought of you and mom. And PB fudge. Yuck on both. I know, more for you.

@teresaw1020. Sorry about the teeth. Right now I'm living with two holes in my mouth. I kept procrastinating because of the money and the kids in college. Now they are done and then covid hit. I've just learned to eat nuts and stuff around those holes. lol. How's the carb cycling coming along?

@cbabie Allergies are the worst! So sorry they're hitting you hard right now

@trooworld Wow! Allergies are hitting you hard too, holy buckets! I hope the medication helps all your symptoms and not just your eye

@theslightedgeforever If you figure out a way to prioritize emails like that in a way that works you would be the richest woman in the world! There used to be a feature like that on my old email and I used it, until I found out it automatically routed my boss's emails to the "not urgent" folder.

@TeresaW1020 So sorry to hear about your tooth! Is it a visable one or can you get away with not having to buy the implant? And I'm with you on using free materials over paying for stuff if I can. Podcasts are a lifesaver for that!

I stepped on the scale and I'm definitely at the upper edge of my range. I'm not the highest I've ever been...but it's not good. This past weekend I purged the house of all the junk and I'm keeping it that way. I guess the bright side of COVID is we have no family events and aren't traveling so I can make my own healthier food and maybe actually lose weight this holiday season. I miss my clothes fitting comfortably and with COVID I don't want to go out shopping, so I guess my option is to get on it and lose the weight!

In other news, I got the flu shot yesterday and absolutely got a low grade fever from it so that's fun... I've never had that side effect before, but I'm guessing it's because I've been so stressed my immune system is pretty garbage right now.

Morning all, I am feeling better, thank goodness. I took baby girl for a walk. I am trying to figure out how to use my blaze on this walk. I have the feature, but it wants to hook up to my phone and it one time for 5 sec. I really need a new one, but until this one actually dies...LOL. I am learning to like toe walks vs the treadmill. I think the TM should be for hot, rainy, muggy, cold days. LOL. I am wanting to get in more protein as I know that is my issue. I have always felt better on the high protein foods.

@TeresaW1020 I am sorry to hear about your tooth. I have 2 of those I am babying. I have a great dentist and he wants 1500 to "fix" it. They are in the back of my mouth...so I am trying to wait it out. LOL

@trooworld I am so sorry you are sick. I hate being sick, but I am sure glad no COVID for you!!. I am with you on the mask..I hate them. I wear glasses, so I go out very little. LOL. My grandchildren works with the public and has to wear them all day long. They all 3 work for a big grocery chain. So I won't complain. LOL

@theslightedgeforever Yea I was sick back in Dec of 2019, couldn't get rid of it.. I had just started my wonderful Job I just quit. LOL. It was like 3 weeks.

@mswatson0777 I think you and I would be good neighbors....we think alot alike. LOL

@trooworld. glad it wasn't covid. Have you thought about just adding elastic straps to your mask? that way they can be adjusted as needed. Don't make the mask too thin or corona will come knocking. lol I got 75%. What exercise have you done this week?

@mswatson0777. boy all of us seem to have a little something off about our bodies right now. I'm sure it's just the stress of life that doesn't help. I noticed some bumps/lumps that are painful to the touch over my eyebrow and then a while ago at the base of my neck and now close to my ear. Maybe stress knots. All on the left side. So I'll just keep a watch on those. I did do a guided meditation today for two minutes and then found myself half way through thinking about cobra kai. Caught myself and went back to focusing. I thought sheesh I can't even do two minutes. Oh well, I guess it's a learned skill.

@cbabie. What are you trying to do on the Blaze? Today I wasn't liking my Versa too much. I was lifting weights and by bending my wrist with the weight gloves on, I kept hitting the pause button and didn't know it. So I would be so mad when I wasn't getting credit for all my zone minutes plus burned calories. Luckily it only happened twice but ended up being 12 min out of the 30. But with the data I had, I had to guesstimate before and after heart rate/calories so I could come up with my numbers.

@theslightedgeforever The carb cycling is going fairly well. I’m working on when I break my fast to have something that is low carb and high protein and then with dinners, I’m just mixing it up. Some days are super low carb and other days being super high carbs. Most days it falls somewhere in the middle. :)

@trooworld I am glad that it just seems to be allergies that are causing you to feel bad. Not that having allergies is something to celebrate about! I can’t wait for my DH to get over whatever is making him sound like he is hacking up a fur ball every morning. :D

@mswatson0777 Good job on getting the junk food out of the house. I agree that these days we do have much more control over what we eat, which really hinders all the good excuses we used to be able to use. ;) That is good that you got your flu shot. We are all going to get ours next week.

@cbabie Glad, you are feeling better. I am with you on needing to get in more protein. I bought some non-fat Greek Fage yogurt and chocolate peanut butter powder to mix in it. High protein and very tasty. :)

Good morning! I survived my tooth being pulled. The oral surgeon was able to get it out pretty easily and we talked about options. I’m most likely not going to do an implant or bridge. It’s not visible and I am sure that I can manage to eat just fine. Heck, it might even help me slow down my eating. :D I feel good but plan to take it easy today and skip workout and church tonight. I do plan to get into my closet and organize my clothes. It’s time to purge things that don’t fit me anymore.

@cbabie I would love to be your neighbor, I agree completely! I'm definitely with you that walking outdoors is so much better than the dreadmill (not a typo lol). Winter is going to be tough because I'm going to miss my daily puppy walks.

@TeresaW1020 I'm glad it's not a visible tooth so you can go without, dental work is so expensive even with insurance! I'm planning on doing a big closet sweep later this month, I'm sad to see the summer clothes go.

@trooworld let me know how you like the Halo! I debated it but the subscription fee scared me away.

@theslightedgeforever I'm with you on meditation. I've been trying for years but my brain does not turn off. Honestly brazilian jiu jitsu is the closest I get to meditation because I have to only focus on one thing or I get thrown in a leglock! Sorry to hear about the bumps. Do you have a doctors visit coming up to make sure everything's okay?

Happy Wednesday all! This week has been going by so slowly. Tonight is the first night this week that I don't have any after work obligations so I'm looking forward to just vegging out on the couch like a zombie (this is how you know the burnout struggle is real). I did do a workout this morning and will take the dogs for a walk so I'm not being a complete couch potato, but the exhaustion struggle is real. I do feel a lot better this morning, I think the side effects from the vaccine are finally going away.

Strangest thing happened today. My old computer started working again. I just had this small voice say turn it on. Now I don't have to go buy a new computer. But after about 3 weeks of working on a Mac, when I went back to my computer I was like how does this thing work.

@trooworld I got 100% today. Allegra-D :D My son's job is the same, he has to wear it all the time. Now that I think about it, all my kids have to wear it. One is in the OR, one is around old people. Bulbous :D You are making me laugh today. Add longer elastic. Let us know about the Halo. Anything new and fun to get us up and moving.

@teresaw1020 Great job on having clothes that don't fit anymore. Just keep up your good work. Yaay on your tooth. My empty sockets don't show either. My gums have become immune to eating pointy Doritos.

@mswatson0777 When I saw your response to cbabie, I was singing "Won't you be my neighbor" How about mall walking in the winter? Right now they are only doing video doc calls. How can you feel my bumps over a screen. Hubby says it's stress and tightened knots there and I just need a good massage. He pushes too hard and hurts. He loves deep tissue massages. He says, it's supposed to hurt. Why pay someone to hurt you I always ask. So I'm trying to massage it myself. I wonder if a foam roller would work.

Hey everyone. I hope it's ok to jump in and join you all. I'm Roz, 27, married from England.
I've been recommended WW for 4 months from my doctor and started this week. I'm on green plan 💚 I have my first workshop today! Looking forward to it. I have been on MFP for years and love it so want to continue both.

    Welcome @midsummer174627 and @roz0810 !

@theslightedgeforever I LOVE foam rolling, but fair warning it does hurt a bit. But it truly gets the job done and since you're doing it to yourself you can control the pressure. Also, I'm deeply impressed your computer is back up and running again! I'd definitely back up EVERYTHING in case it crashes again (but you probably already did that!).

@trooworld Have fun putting up Halloween decorations! I'm buying pumpkins this weekend and I'm so excited! I feel so relaxed after chilling on the couch last night. It was fun to veg out (although I also planned out my grad school goals for the fall term so it wasn't entirely a waste of time).

Happy Thursday All! I feel entirely back to normal today which I am so grateful for. I was starting to get a little paranoid my flu shot side effects was going to turn into COVID!

Last night I created a plan for the months ahead. It's going to be A LOT of work, but I'm feeling very confident I can get it done. COVID definitely helps since I'll have a ton of time around the holidays with nothing to do but write my dissertation. I'm also going to come up with fun surprises and presents to myself as long as I stay on track, both with grad school and with my health goals. I've been feeling so much better this week with my eating so I'm looking forward to continuing that trend!

Hi All! Man has my life been busy. Haven’t stopped. Just a quick check in I decided to cancel my WW membership as my schedule has been a bit booked. Definitely will be using MFP more now that I don’t have WW. I’m planning on taking a small staycation soon. I’m also looking to update my fitness tracker from a Fitbit to a either a Garmin Fenix 6s Sapphire or an Apple Watch Series 6. I have an iPhone and have had an Apple Watch before but I can’t decide between the 2. Any suggestions on which one is better than the other?
Hope everyone else is doing well!

@midsummer174627 and @roz0810 Welcome!! Just jump right in and make yourself at home. :)

@mswatson0777 That is great that you have a plan for your very busy life and especially that you have plans to treat yourself. That is VERY important!! <3

    @gemworlf110 Hey good to see you popping in! I vote for the Apple Watch! I don’t have one but I have been dropping hints to my DH for a possible awesome Christmas gift that he could give me. :grin;

@theslightedgeforever that is great that your computer is working! Our dishwasher died yesterday, and we tried it again tonight but nope…it’s dead! And it will be 10 days before the repairman can come. It’s like living in the dark ages!! :o

@trooworld Enjoy your time off and your Halloween decorating! >:):p

Hey everyone! Well, today was busy as usual. I went to staff meeting and then out to lunch with them. I wouldn’t have gone but my associate pastor’s wife and three-year-old son came and I just can’t resist them! <3 Plus, she is helping me co-host the staff Christmas party and we had to talk details. Tomorrow DH and I are going to spend the day in Atlanta doing some shopping. We really want a recliner to replace the chair we have. I also want to hit a couple of shoe stores so I can find a new pair of pumps for my nephew’s wedding in February. It’s never too soon to shoe shop!! :D I am going to yet again tweak my diet and fasting schedule starting next week. The gist of it is that it will consist of one full day of fasting, followed by three days of 22 to 24 hours, and two days of two full meals. I will keep it low carb on the longer fasting days and higher carb on the eating days. This alternate day fasting approach has had really good results for lots of people. So, I will give it a try!

Afternoon all, sorry I wasn't here yesterday. It was just one of those days. I will say that baby girl had me walking and walking and walking, even at 8:30 last night. She just loves going in her stroller and car. Who am I to complain someone making me move my body LOL. I have been mopping and cleaning all day. I think I got my workout in today. LOL

@theslightedgeforever Yes those stress knots hurt when you massage them out. If you don't make it hurt, they stay...just sayin....I hope that is all it is. Funny how that comp worked again...now since it is...which do you think you like more? I know Windows..LOL. I was trying to track my outdoors walking on the Blaze..it won't connect to phone, but not sure now that I am looking in the daylight that I need it to. I am going to try again on the next walk.

@trooworld I love the way you and slightedge keep track of each other. LOL. I am so glad you are feeling better. I think I am more excited that you got the mask making thing down. How cool.

@gemwolf110 So glad you popped in! I like seeing all my friends in here.

@mswatson0777 LOL I swear I don't wear a red sweater and tie. :). Glad you are feeling better and the side effects didn't linger. Sounds like you have your remaining year planned. LOL

@roz0810 Welcome aboard!!! I love new faces.

@midsummer174627 Welcome aboard! LOL tracking is always one of my goals.. ( I never meet it) LOL. I was in WW for a long time and reached goal and that was about 10 years ago. Funny thing is I am only 1 or 2 lbs over my goal and at this age...I swear it all turned all to fat only in my middle. I think I am the oldest on the board, but maybe not. LOL

@TeresaW1020 Oh my DH doesn't think I could ever need another pair of shoes..and you know now that I don't go out as much...maybe not...NO way..LOL. I love greek yogurt. Glad your tooth came out easier than you thought. I hate teeth issues...

@midsummer174627 Sounds like a good reasonable goal. The MFP planner makes it so easy to track. The phone is easier than the computer in my opinion. Because on the phone, it will suggest foods that you usually eat with other foods so you can go click click click and you're done.

@roz0810 Welcome to the group! Nice to see another face from across the pond. We have a group member here Joanna who checks in every once in a while. What are your October goals?

@trooworld 100% today again. How's the food tracking coming along?

@mswatson0777 You sound so upbeat now. I'm so happy for you that the covid/stress doldrums are pushed away. I like your silver lining of covid lockdown. We can always find one if we look hard enough.

@gemwolf110 Nice to see you. Sorry I can't help you with the fitness tracker recommendations. Think of all the features you want and will use. Then if they are both equal that way, go for the cheaper one. lol

@teresaw1020 Just keep tweaking until you find the perfect Teresa plan. I have been really good this week on food, water, movement. Scale is not cooperating. I will stand fast like a good soldier does and then reevaluate at the end of the month. Dishwasher: Burned calories? See.....silver lining.... :D Maybe something simple as a blown fuse. Do dishwashers have fuses? Or the electric plug died. That happened recently with my vacuum cleaner. It was the plug. Some how inside the plug the wires had come unconnected.

@cbabie I'm glad you are walking. It's so good for you. Maybe she can come up with some good food items. :D Just remember one meal at a time. That's all we need to focus on. I don't know if a Mac is better than Windows or vice versa just different. It's funny how in three weeks my muscle memory took over and now I keep hitting the Alt key instead of ctrl when I want to copy/paste. I still have my open tabs which I like. Obviously the close button is in a completely different position. But I guess this was all good for my brain to try and shake things up. Were you one of those that liked Mr. Rogers growing up? You know I can totally see it. You are definitely older than me. :# So tracking.......it's really a habit just like everything else. One thing that really helps me is that I'm in a small group where we have to tell each other over Marco Polo everything we ate that day for accountability. Or even I am accountable to you all when I tell you whether I went under/over on my carbs for the day. So If I haven't been tracking, I can't do that and then have to stop and do it. Mostly though I just track after each meal because it's a habit. I usually just have three meals and a snack. I'm still working on my habit of pre-planning in the morning like I used to do last fall. That works out so much better. I know exactly what I will eat. I know if I stick to my plan, I won't go over and I'll lose weight.

Green Day- Stayed OP 215/238 Intentional movement: 17 min walking 25 strength training 19 cardio

@trooworld I love how you say you're too lazy to decorate a pumpkin but you have a stunning hand-painted table top set. It looks fabulous!!

@theslightedgeforever I've definitely been in a better mood lately. It helps that I'm on a break between classes and work has somewhat calmed down. That being said, stuff is starting to ramp up again so I'm not sure how long that will last.

@cbabie You definitely got your movement in yesterday! My dogs are my motivation to get off my butt too, they are absolute nightmares when they don't get walks so it's not worth it to skip!

@gemwolf110 Welcome back! I totally get the business of life aspect. I don't have any fitness gadgets so I don't have an opinion, but let us know which one you decide on

@TeresaW1020 I hope you have a great time in Atlanta. I've never been but I hear it's a really fun town!

Happy Friday all! Tonight we're having a socially distanced bonfire at our house to burn off our woodpile before winter and I'm really excited. It's going to be a LONG day at work today.

I called amazon this morning since I thought we had some packages stolen. Only to find out they've been in my husbands trunk...for over a week. I'm so annoyed and currently stuck on instachat with amazon trying to cancel the second order I placed. Also, the order was my weights, which meant I could have been working out with them all week. Spouses sometimes, sigh.

Afternoon all, Well I did figure out my blaze with my walking, so I will be using that function now. LOL. I have been sleeping well, but baby is sleeping much better. Yea. I had a protein shake this morning and baby girl had part of mine..she likes strawberries.. LOL

@mswatson0777 I had to laugh about your amazon order..I get annoyed because my DH feels he has to say everything more than once...so I ALWAYS know when our stuff arrives...he always tells me more than once that it came. LOL Hopefully you can maintain balance. :). Well the weights should help. LOL

@trooworld I agree with mswatson007...laughing cause you can't do a pumpkin, but you hand painted those things..sounds to me you like painting better than carving..LOL.

    @roz0810 great goals

@theslightedgeforever I only 'listened" to Mr Rodgers..never watched it as a kid...but my kids oh my..it was Mr Rodgers, Sesame Street and Electric Co...EVERY DAY ugh. 3 halos out 4 not bad! LOL

@roz0810 Your goals sound very doable.

@trooworld 25% for water today. 100% for tracking all week. That's usually not my problem. I love your decorations. That is so cool. I'm expecting Michael Jackson to pop up and start dancing. My decorations would consist of putting a cardboard pumpkin on the door. lol Something I bought at Walmart versus hand-painting.

@mswatson0777 Did you have a good eating day? oh my dh would be so dead for that. He knows how I am with Amazon packages. I'm so paranoid and always rant about them just leaving them on the porch. Prime Day is on the 13th I think as a reminder. :)

@cbabie Can you check your heartrate while you are walking? There's a reason I use workout instead of walk on my Versa. But cant remember what it is. I don't really care if I mark my route or not. Just care about getting in my zone minutes and burned calories for the day. Mr Rogers was always boring to me. Are you that old that you had to listen to shows on the radio. :D:D Disclaimer @roz0810 @cbabie is my sister. I got to watch Electric Company in school when it first came out. HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

Yellow Day- Went Over 229/164 Intentional movement: Rest Day

October goals; Green dot day. :( Drink 6 glasses of water :( Burn 275 calories *** Preplan food :(

@trooworld thank you. i sometimes like to pre track if I know what I'll be eating. I also find it so much easier then I can map out the day like u said. but mostly I just do it whilst cooking. also I walk my friends dog with another friend who walks her dog too so we go twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon so I get some walking in at least everyday.
    loving the Halloween stuff!

@cbabie thank you too. im currently having slimfast high protein shakes for 2 meals because its been working well for me.

    @theslightedgeforever ahh i see. great!

So hubby had his birthday Thursday so I did eat some things which weren't planned and yesterday too but I won't carry it on. Few days here and there won't hurt me. Just gna stay away from the scales for a few days tho 😂

@trooworld Your Halloween village is super cute! I love the little buildings. Do you add to it every year? :)

@mswatson0777 The bonfire sounds like so much fun! Ugghhh what was your DH thinking? At least you have your weights now! :)

@cbabie That is great that you and the baby are sleeping better. I loved watching Mr. Rogers when I used to keep kids. Most mornings I would be the only one watching while they were all playing. :D

@roz0810 You are so right that a few days of overeating is not what causes us to have weight issues. It’s what we do on a consistent basis that really matters. You have to enjoy a birthday! :)

Good morning! Our shopping trip yesterday was fun and very successful. We have been wanting a new chair and a new entryway credenza since moving in last year. I did my homework and found exactly what I wanted and went into the stores armed with the online prices. Both store's price matched and I saved over $400, which made DH very happy. The chair has a special order fabric and we won’t get it until sometime late February but the credenza will be here next week. We also browsed around a bunch of different stores and picked up a few Christmas things, but I have to wait for Trooworld’s holiday to be over before the stores really stock up on their Christmas decorations. ;) We ate out at Panera yesterday where I had a salad. We left Atlanta by going to Starbucks and getting a latte and one of their incredible pumpkin scones. I thought it would hurt my weight, but I was actually down this morning! Probably all that walking that I did helped and I only had a cup of yogurt for dinner. This morning I’m going to start 80 Day Obsession for my workouts. When I tried it several months ago it was too intense for me. I’m hoping that I will be able to complete it this time and really lose some inches and tone up even more. I have my goal to be down at least another full size when I turn 55 in March. :)

@cbabie I got a good laugh out of your post, it definitely sounds like we have the opposite problem! I'm so glad you and baby girl are getting some sleep, and I think it's super cute she wants some of your shake. Protein shakes are pretty tasty when made right!

@theslightedgeforever I actually did do well on my eating and only went over by about 100 calories which I'm calling a win since we grilled brats and I had two drinks! I'm normally not super paranoid about packages because we live in a small enough town, but after a week of nothing arriving I was about to go all out for a camera doorbell!

@roz0810 Nothing wrong with celebrating, it's just all about getting back on track!

@TeresaW1020 I bet with all those workouts you've been doing that you'll rock 80 Day Obsession! Sounds like you're shopping trip was super successful and fun.

Alright ladies, I need you to be my accountabilibuddies. I have been on track all week and doing great, but the weekends are normally when I fall off the wagon. Please help me stay accountable! My new goal is to check in every day no matter what (I wasn't checking in on weekends before which probably wasn't helping me any). I'm at the upper edge of my weight range (or as I call it my panic weight where nothing fits) so I either get my &*%$ together or buy new clothes and I am NOT buying new clothes.

I've also got a lofty school goal this weekend which will keep me busy, and it's supposed to be gorgeous fall weather so I'll be getting out to enjoy the beautiful leaves. Staying active and staying busy is the name of the game!
