um... I started down that path and then got derailed by an old GIF yourself thread where I got to meet all these faces of people whose usernames I know. Then I went to sleep. It's an awesome thread. I should resurrect that one.
Yes, resurrect away.1 -

You laid the bike down right?
Not quite...
Going down a hill, on the road, at 38mph when wheel wobble set in. Decision - come off on hard tarmac (pavement?) or go for the 'softer' grass verge. Took the latter approach. The bike went from 38mph to 0mph almost instantly.
Result - I went over the top of the bars to land on my back. Double displaced fracture of the clavicle and a few scrapes & bruises. Oh, and a trashed bike, Garmin & helmet (which probably preserved my skull!). Back at work the day after.
That was quite a few years ago now. Took me 5 years to bring myself to go down the same hill!7 -

For reference here’s a before and after, notice the back-fat in the before pic. A combination of losing the excess weight and improving my posture has made all the difference!
Excellent. Congrats on the effort and dedication you would've put in to this.2 -

All credit is yours Diana. You’re looking great!3 -
@RunsWithBees What a great transformation! And I get what you're saying about posture. It doesn't get talked about nearly enough, and it makes such a big difference to our looks. How did YOU go about improving your posture?2
