I eat my peas with honey
I've done it all my life
It makes them taste quite funny
But it keeps them on my knife

They are a little too big

Thoughts pass like strangers in the eve
Some linger, a disease of the mind
Ideation to some darker meaning
Nothing left, but to suffer in kind
Life is fleeting, the passing of time
The darker the thoughts, the harder it gets
Feeling lost, a tumultuous muddle
A pit of despair, still here I sit
A climb isn't easy as one might attest
Fragmented brain, broken and consumed
By a darker nature, a constant gloom
Peace is not easy, so please don't assume
Going beyond the veil of gloomy thought
One is consumed by thoughts to end all
No concern for who is left, mentally struggling
Nothing left but surrender to a terrible fallPutting this here so no one worries. I'm NOT making plans to do anything. Just having really, really dark thoughts lately. Writing is a way to help with that, so here I am.5 -
