I have gone up and down in weight over the past 15 years. In high school, I hovered around 150 lbs and then lost 30 lbs. I starved myself and over exercised to lose that weight, and developed an eating disorder. I kept the weight off into college, and then gained about 125 lbs over the course of 1-2 years while struggling with panic disorder and depression. I lost the weight, though a bit quickly, and reached 135 lbs. I developed a problem with binging at the time, was still having panic attacks (used food to cope) and gained almost all of the weight back. About 1 1/2 years ago, I weighed about 220 lbs again. I have improved my health greatly since then, both mentally and physically, and am now 128 lbs.

Never had a lot of weight to loose but even -7kgs has made a difference. I feel so much healthier now.

I'll be 70 in April. Back in 2004, weight at 230lb Stress, car accident & Life hit ME between the eyeballs.
10 years later... haha Divorced, moved cross country & caretaking a parent. MADE me look at the whole
aspect of WHAT THE HEALTH? Yep, discovered the Poison of Sugar/Flour, The drug that keeps people HOOKED
on processed foods. WHO KNEW??!!
Got down to 170, and felt THIN again - BUT, that's only because I was so FAT.
In 2018, discovered BLE, and Got down to 140.
Then... Got a new job around Food - went back to 170. (geez, right)
Decided to do Bright Line Eating program which WORKED like crazy to get ME to 140.
(sorry, forgot to take a photo during that time.
I'm back on BLE/Bright Line Eating this year, January 2021.
No sugar, no processed foods - just careful planning and weighing my food.
I Just got to 159 this weekend.
My Goal - 135-140 would work for me. APRIL WILL POST MY AFTER PICTURE !!!
Amazing how my body feels when I get off the WHITE drugs of sugar and flours (that includes ALL flours that are processed - even the Organic stuff. Don't be fooled.
It's like a POPPY Flower is beautiful, until you change it's makeup and it's Heroin (or whatever)
Bright Line Eating is the most successful and informative program on the Planet!

I've been looking through this thread for inspiration as I get back into working out & eating healthy again. I've gained 10 lbs (which doesn't sound like much, but looks like a lot) and lost a lot of muscle in the last 3 years since my son was born. I spent the last 2 years getting my masters in education online, so a lot of sitting and staying up late & like NO working out at all. I had gotten SO weak!
I am feeling a bit frustrated & discouraged, as I would ideally like to get pregnant here in a bit, but my first pregnancy & the first year of his life were really rough (he breastfed & had a huge number of food sensitivities & I started a new job after he was born. So. Much. Stress.) And I'm worried that I'll never get strong and lean like I was before I got pregnant.
Man, that was a lot, but I don't feel I have many people to talk to about this combination of issues (who will be encouraging & supportive) in "real" life.12 -

I've gotten a lot of help from doing yoga to get some core strength back. I'm probably still going to need surgery for my diastasis and the effects on my skin of being 130 lbs overweight and having three large babies when shortwaisted, but I feel so much better when I do core work that I recommend it to everyone.
My family tends to like to put four to five years between kids; by that point, Older Kid is getting ready for nursery school/kindergarten. They can mostly dress themselves, with a little shoe tying help, they can mostly feed themselves when you put a plate in front of them, they can take themselves potty without anyone getting involved, and they have enough maturity to understand, "If you can be very quiet for a little while, I'll get the baby to sleep, and once Baby goes to sleep and I put him down, I can do things with you." And they like to try to be helpful. It also means that the kids are far enough apart in school to be their own people without so much "carryover" from the elder sibling.

That's awesome, I'm 5'6 1/2" and weigh 164, but I still fit in at least a 12-14. I don't understand... I do carry most of my weight in my stomach though. But it's so frustrating... you look great and love the outfit!7 -

Thank you for the encouraging words. You are right that there are big advantages to having that 4-5 year age gap between kids. I guess I don't have many real-life examples of people who are fit, slim, and healthy after kids. So I worry that will be me too.0 -

Different people carry weight differently. After I had my son, I never fit into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes, even when I was the same pre-pregnancy weight. My bones are permanently in different places, so my hips may never fit into those size 6 shorts, no matter how low my weight. Also, people with a lot of muscle take up less space than people without.4 -
