Ok, asking again — does anyone know what causes weird line/paragraph formatting in posts? Why are all my paragraphs (post above) split into columns?

Edit — I may have figured it out — I used the align left command. I thought that was the default, but maybe not.

Exercise Goal for this round: Get on the darn Bike!
🎯Mini Goal: 206 Saw it last round and let it slip away!
I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

    Day/Weight/Previous Day’s Comment
3/13 207.1 Walk 2.7 miles, 1959 cal, 97 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Nachos & ice cream & rice … not the best day and not the right way to tackle stress.
3/14 207.0 Walked 2.6 miles, 1567 cal, 92 net carbs, AF. Lazy day. I took the day as a mental break and accomplished 3 things: grocery shopping, my walk, cutting DH’s hair. Otherwise I dreamed of vacations (created a wish list with DH while we dined at an outside restaurant) and searched for European River Cruises and Backroads Active Travel Adventures. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
3/15 207.7 Walked 3.3 miles, gardened, 2083 cal, 108 net carbs, AF. Lots of unnecessary snacks between 1-4pm :( I was tired and should have taken a nap!
3/16 207.7 No exercise, dine out for lunch & dinner, shopping for dress, 2325 cal, 73 net carbs, Torchy’s Tini. My sister is on spring break so we are running the roads and I’m still stressed with party planning, deadlines all week, meetings all meet with vendors, as well as hosted book club over zoom.
3/17 208.1 Walked 1 mile, shopping for dress, 2031 cal, 131 net carbs, 1 skinny margarita lunch with sister, 2 wine dinner. Need to reel myself back in and focus on me first before stressing for the day.

@CamandJarvis Can you get a special cup that is daughter’s? Or write her name on a Big Red Cup? That’s what we do at family reunions so we don’t end up throwing away a hundred extra cups.

I have the exact same problem. Anytime I bold, italicize, add an emoji, or anything other than change the color, the text after that goes to the next column. :) I tried 2 different browsers and it does the same thing. I'm going to try the align left command too.

03/15 118 Oh hey salty weekend and TOM arriving soon. The time change makes me so sleepy. My mom has also been in the hospital due to some stomach/gi issues… I think that is also wearing on me because it’s been like 18 days now. I have a good week of food planned though.
This weekend I was a bit indulgent and we went to Patriot Place for dinner Friday night because it was in the 60’s and we wanted to eat on a patio…but that ended up being a delicious burger and fries with wine and a sangria. Then, we picked up a bottle of wine on the way home. Then, on Saturday we went out to lunch in Newburyport because we were already near there because of an errand we were running. That lunch wasn’t as bad calorically, but it was salty. Yesterday my food was pretty good, I had two small homemade banana bread muffins (300 cals total) with a couple eggs, strawberries and a small bit of Greek yogurt to dip the berries. I had an apple for a snack. Then, dinner was roasted butternut squash, onion, and Bratwurst served over kale that we got from our CSA’s. I had never had Bratwurst so I was curious to try it. The left overs from that will be my breakfast today. Happy Monday everyone!

03/17 116.0 I’ve just decided that life is just crazy. Food was on point yesterday and it’s been solid today as well. I plan on making up for not being able to read everyone's posts and taking the time to this weekend as I'm dog sitting for my cousin's two English bulldogs who like to lounge around more than me lol. So expect pictures of their wrinkly faces. Have a good night!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.
    • Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
    • A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
    • Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
    • The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
    • Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
    • The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
    • When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
    • Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.
Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!
