Ok, asking again — does anyone know what causes weird line/paragraph formatting in posts? Why are all my paragraphs (post above) split into columns?

Edit — I may have figured it out — I used the align left command. I thought that was the default, but maybe not.
I have the exact same problem. Anytime I bold, italicize, add an emoji, or anything other than change the color, the text after that goes to the next column. :) I tried 2 different browsers and it does the same thing. I'm going to try the align left command too.

Is the smiley face and the text afterwards in the next column? I used the left align command.

3/16: 152.6 OK since yesterday’s weight was probably too low from not eating dinner the night before.

03/15 118 Oh hey salty weekend and TOM arriving soon. The time change makes me so sleepy. My mom has also been in the hospital due to some stomach/gi issues… I think that is also wearing on me because it’s been like 18 days now. I have a good week of food planned though.
This weekend I was a bit indulgent and we went to Patriot Place for dinner Friday night because it was in the 60’s and we wanted to eat on a patio…but that ended up being a delicious burger and fries with wine and a sangria. Then, we picked up a bottle of wine on the way home. Then, on Saturday we went out to lunch in Newburyport because we were already near there because of an errand we were running. That lunch wasn’t as bad calorically, but it was salty. Yesterday my food was pretty good, I had two small homemade banana bread muffins (300 cals total) with a couple eggs, strawberries and a small bit of Greek yogurt to dip the berries. I had an apple for a snack. Then, dinner was roasted butternut squash, onion, and Bratwurst served over kale that we got from our CSA’s. I had never had Bratwurst so I was curious to try it. The left overs from that will be my breakfast today. Happy Monday everyone!

03/17 116.0 I’ve just decided that life is just crazy. Food was on point yesterday and it’s been solid today as well. I plan on making up for not being able to read everyone's posts and taking the time to this weekend as I'm dog sitting for my cousin's two English bulldogs who like to lounge around more than me lol. So expect pictures of their wrinkly faces. Have a good night!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.
    • Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
    • A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
    • Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
    • The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
    • Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
    • The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
    • When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
    • Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.
Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!

    Day/Weight/Comment
03/12 …..207.0….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
03/13 …..207.2 ….. Daughter and 3 yr old grandson moved in last night after family feuding. For a short time or for much longer? I don’t know yet but this will definitely put my meals even more out of whack! I’ll have to figure this out! The plus side, more time with them and lots of extra steps. Good luck everyone this round!

    03/14 …..207.2 ….. No change. Hectic here right now…

03/15 …..207.2 ….. Not doing well on the diet with the houseful of people daily. Between family moving in and the renovation crew, my life is upside down! Doing my best here but I just don’t have the space, the energy or the privacy I need to cook multiple dinners, lunches, etc. I already cook 2 different ones per meal due to my son’s autism and eating disorders. I’m not going to throw my hands up. I will find the answers.

03/16 …..207.0 ….. A bit surprised to see this after Chinese leftovers yesterday. Tomorrow is travel back to my attorney for Will & Trust things again. Lunch will be out. She is far from home.

03/17 …..xxxxx ….. DNW. In such a hurry for travel this morning (also dealing with DGS the scale never crossed my mind. Lunch was out. The best Pizza I have ever had which came highly recommended for the city I was going to. Thank Goodness I live far from THAT pizza restaurant!

    03/18 …..xxxxx …..

    03/19 …..xxxxx …..

    03/20 …..xxxxx …..

03/01 – 11,051 Steps yesterday. The most steps in a very long time. Certainly the most since my retirement!
03/02 - 6,181 Steps yesterday. It was a busy day with the remodel. Full house.
03/03 - 4,937 Steps yesterday. Unexpected travel with lots of car rides. I keep my fitbit on my non-dominate wrist, not my ankle, so I know I actually got in over 10,000 with ALL the shopping. However, I had no time for any extra planned exercise yesterday so I am grateful for the steps in the big box stores.
03/04 - 6,589 It was a paperwork day. Not as much movement or as many steps as I would have liked.
03/05 - 4,276. Another paperwork day as I prepped for my attorney appointment today for my will & trust (and other matters). Travel today will bring light steps for tomorrow also.
03/06 - 7,489 Traveled but still got in some steps.
03/07 – 6,827 Steps. I should have tried harder. I probably could have gotten more in. I have been doing some planned stairs in the house though.
03/08 - 7,092 Steps. I had a sit-down meeting last night so getting more steps in was impossible. I am shocked, actually, that I got in this many!
    03/09 - 8,217 Steps.
    03/10 - 7,123 Steps. I had a movie night last night.
03/11 - 8,635 Steps and I worked for every one of them intentionally!
    03/12 - 8,672 Steps.
03/13 -10,237 Steps chasing active grandson.
    03/14 - 8,726
03/15 - 7,164 Steps. Still getting them from inside home.
03/16 - 7,546 Steps. Snow today. Grandson visiting other relatives so I will have to get those steps another way and not from chasing him! LOL.
03/17 – 11,857 Steps. That is what grandchildren will do to you sometimes LOL!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! My son's 16th birthday.

    Round 144 Goals:
*Move 5 miles a day (less on Sunday)
*Plan/log all food in the morning and stick to it 40/30/30, 1200 cal

    High weight: 155
    Starting Round weight: 149.2
    Goal:140

    3/13: 149.2, biked 6.1 miles, 10,800+ steps
3/14: 147.8, moved 2 miles, rest day, celebrated sons birthday, so scale might not be happy tomorrow, but it was planned for.
3/15: 149.6, walked 5.1 miles, logged everything in MFP but was over by 220 calories. Step one is to get used to logging everything again so I'm ok with that.
3/16: 148.8, walked 6.6 miles, date night and had healthy tai cashew nut chicken dish.
3/17: 149.4, biked 6 miles + walked 4, sons birthday, spent the entire day driving to his driver's test (hard to get appointments). Ate out again (cheeseburger), should have chosen a salad. Keep telling myself its time to get serious! Putting it out to the MFP universe in hopes this helps. Over 340 cals

    Good Morning!

Sooooo I have totally been off track the past days/ week. In the beginning I was so mad at myself for falling of track, but then I decided to give myself the break while I was home with my family. Looots of delicious home cooked meals! Today I am back at my place, with lots of motivation and the plan to join the 10-day challenge again.

    SW: 56,40
    GW: 55,50
    Day/Weight/Comment
    03/13 - DNW
    03/14 - DNW
03/15 - 56,40 To be honest, it is quite hard to see this weight again. I felt so accomplished after round 143, when I was so close to my ultimate goal weight. But I am currently telling myself again and again, that it is okay to start over, that this is about a lifestyle and not a quick change and that I have already proven that I am capable of losing the next kg.
03/16 - 55,70 woah, okay I did not expect such a quick drop. However I do suspect this is also partly because of my lack of drinking water yesterday. Let's see how it is tomorrow. Eating wise I did go over my calories. But I did have a really active day with iceskating, walking around town and riding my bike to an appointment. I did have quite a hard time personally in the evening. Normally this would have meant: big binge. I did eat way more, but I did opt for some low-cal ice cream, which helped. Today I already went on a run, which was great!
03/17 - 55,60 this is going quite good! I finally have my bike again & the weather is okayish, so its bearable to bike again. I have so much fun doing it & I feel it always helps with getting movement in. Biked to the supermarket and my friends place yesterday. I went above my calories quite a lot, as my roommate (what do you call that in English when you share a flat?) was cooking & I craved sweets all day. But one nice note on that: she was always quite dismissive of my journey. I think she still is not really liking the weight loss thought, but she lately has adapted some healthy meals & now also cooks more balance every then and now! With kinda excites me, as obviously at the end of the day its not about the scale, but about a healthy lifestyle!
03/18 - 55,70 okay a little increase but still great. Yesterday I was eating quite well & also worked out. Did not meet my steep goal, but still tried to move a little. Went a little over my calories, as I was still hungry at night. Just being consistent is the goal now!

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 144 (round 76 for me ) I need this to help me keep on track! Thank you @GrandmaJackie you so enrich so many of our lives by keeping the challenge going.

Female age 62 5' 4” - Challenge for this round – get back & stay >130 Stick with good habits; be mindful of what I eat & drink, try to keep it in moderation, keep walking, no binges; remember keeping the 10 days binge free makes such a difference!

Keep calm – we're all in this together! Wash hands, be kind, continue to follow all latest Government guidelines for C-19 virus. Be positive for the vaccine – I've had my first, spread positivity and encouragement for it to others.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's taken me 75 rounds to acheive my under 130 target; now mainanence starts again!! It's a permanent way of life.

End of round 69 134.2 lbs
    End of round 70 133.6
    End of round 71 132.4
    End of round 72 133.2

03/13 128.8 – WOWEEEE!! Couldn't quite believe this, got on & off 4 times, even picked the scales up & put them down again before the last weigh in!! but every time was exactly the same. If the scales are my best buddy this am, the weather definately was not yesterday heavy rain meant I was forced to use the car not walk to volunteer session at vaccine centre & of course as soon as I got there it stopped :( and the sun came out. Managed to get 9.53 miles in afterwards. Excellent healthy food day.
03/14 129.6 – 10.35 miles walked yesterday, pizza night within calories, but carbs heavy. Happy Mothers Day to all Mom's out there.
03/15 129.6 – 9.47 miles walked yesterday, stayed within calories & all macros. Had lovely video calls with DD, DS & DGC and lovely delivered flowers.
03/16 129.6 – 13.21 miles walked yesterday, had a little chocolate, but kept within calories & macros.
03/17 131.4 (uhh!) 12.4 miles walked yesterday, went overboard with eating :( determined to stay on track today & loads of water. Happy St. Paddy's Day to all my Irish friends.
03/18 131 – 11.74 miles walked yesterday, back on track eating wise, all calories & macros in green.

    03/14 - DNW

03/15 - 198.0 Pretty happy with this as a starting point (sort of) for this round. Usually Mondays see my weight jumping because I allow myself some more calories, more diet fizzy drinks and more sodium-heavy food. Today it has jumped, but by less than half a pound.

03/16 - 198.2 This is OK. Was well under calories yesterday. A couple of small walks so not very active. But it's pretty common for me to continue going up slightly on a Tuesday. And then hopefully start to drop back a bit from Wednesday to Saturday...

03/17 - 196.8. Really happy to see a big drop. Calories well under target again yesterday - but will eat some of those back at the weekend.

03/18 - 195.8 yesterday was an ok day. I just kept on snacking. I was still under my calorie target, but only by about 200 cals, which means a bit less room for manoeuvre at the weekend.

I really would like to reach my OGW sometime in 2021.

Goal for this round is to have a lower average than last round. Still need to get some form of exercise kick started.

    Historical Averages:
R 94: 210.7 (20191108 = date of the last day of the round)

    R 143: 211.5

I like to track averages due to my wild fluctuations. For the same reason, I like to weigh daily so I can see the lows from time to time. It gives me hope.

    Round 144
    Month/Day: Exercise / Comment

    3/13: 211.6
I had ¾ of a Jack’s frozen pizza last night. Having some friends over tonight, so tomorrow could be higher. Sous vide steak, finished on the grill. They are bringing the dessert. I better try to limit the damage today until then.

    3/14: 212.8

    3/15: 213.4
As you can see, I had a bit of a discipline problem over the weekend. And, I am still carrying around ALL of that lack of discipline. Had some friends over Saturday night that we had not seen since December. Plenty to eat and drink. Yesterday we had leftovers.

    3/16: 212.8
The second half of this challenge needs a miracle.

    3/17: 211.6
“Slowly, drop the green beer and step away sir.” Happy St Pat’s everyone!

    3/18: 212.0
Time to examine my logging habits. I may be underestimating on quantity. Or, not logging everything.

So this is how I see my posts when I try to do anything other than plain text and color.
