I was really thinking my plan was too ambitious...and it was way too hot for the beginning of spring...but I somehow pulled it off.

Nice work all - I see you grinding - been a while since I contributed- here’s from this morning- struggled 185x5 - lost count on this set and did 6 😂 - it’s a marathon not a sprint - gots a lot a work to do - but have come a long way since I stated 2 years ago - have a good weekend mfp’ers

Tried going for a bench PR of 5x5@105lb. Managed one set of 5 and then did 5 sets of 4.
Also did back rows (5x5@110lb), planks, and assisted pullups (2-2-2-1-2).
Overall, I'm content with tonight, and really needed it. 😊
How about you give me some upper body strength and I’ll give you some of my quads. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 For real tho 😅😂2 -

Gif bombing you all 🤣 All from the past few days..... they gave me that shot in my right shoulder but now my left is killing me 😭. Trying to accept that the press medley may not happen for me. As long as I can do all the others I will not be disqualified, so that’s something. Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend!

Everyone is killing it. Way to go. I had my torture test (Ct/Myleogram) on Wednesday and am scheduling back surgery for the end of the month. I should get to start lifting again around July 1. It's going to suck to see how much strength i don't have and I may have some limitations but I'm still so stoked just to see at least a glimmer at the end of the tunnel. I'm going to spend that post surgery time reading some things you posted and formulating a plan for July and forward. May still make my goal weight and waist by the end of August yet.4

July will be here before you know it! I'm happy that there is an end in sight, but it sucks that you have to go through surgery to get there. Can't wait to see things improving for you!0 -
New squat PR! 5x5x205lb! It was tough and by the end of set two, I honestly didn't think I'd make it... But I pushed through one rep at a time!
Also working on deads, so while it's 10lb below my best weight I think the form is better and it feels more solid. This is the last set at 240lbs.

Yes! Sometimes we just slow it down, focus on 1 rep at a time. It's how we get it done!1 -

I stalled at 70 for a while too. I decided to drop down to 60 and did sets of 10, then 65 with sets of 8. Gonna see if 70 is any easier this time.

No GIFs again...not much else going on here...bench press is kicking my little chesticles! Squats and deads are ok, just a little scared of pushing much more. Dropped back down on the OHP. Guess I'm just stuck here for a bit🤷♀️

Squats were low weight (135, and lots of reps... 10 sets of 5.
Bench was 105 x 5,5,4,3,4,4. Still not quite 5x5 but got the first two sets, so still progress.
Back row was 5x5@110.
Also did planks and pull ups.
It's been a crappy, emotional week, but I got it done.
This is the last set of 4.
