I totally fell off the wagon for April and May and gained everything I took off for the first part of the year. I'm definitely not on track to lose 52 pounds this year but I can aim to lose 26 pounds.

Past week's successes: Chose poorly eating out at restaurants Tues-Fri and gained 3.5 lbs on the Girls Trip with my mom & sister. However I was able to recover and lose it again focusing on walking, water and planning/journaling my meals over the weekend!
This week's challenges: Heading into the 4th of July weekend. Need to not treat it as a mini vacation since I’ve proven to myself that on both the New Orleans trip and the Hot Springs trip I’m capable of gaining a pound a day when I don’t journal and eat whatever! So continue journaling, water and exercise even while I’m at the camp! In July my plan is to track at least 100 miles of walking to get myself back to where my focus was last Aug-Nov where I dropped the weight successfully.

It's been a while since I logged in. Have been doing lots of traveling and over indulging. Exercise has been more biking and less running because my DH will bike with me.
While maintaining this weight range has take little to no effort and my doctor says this weight is good for my body type, I really would like to drop back down to the low 130s. I've managed to get my cholesterol down into the lower 240 range without meds.

Past week's successes: Let others influence me over the weekend at the fishing camp 🎣. Not enough veggies and way too many carbs as well as drinks.
This week's challenges: Make a push to exercise, eat healthy and drink water. Strive for getting under 200 before physical at doctor’s in early August. Moved up my physical from November to August just to force the mental reset since she gave me that goal for this year.

I thought this weeks challenge would be snacks but it was a cold instead. Taking cold meds, throat losengers and cough drops. All with lots of added sugars. Only got in one long run early in the week. On the back side of it now.
