What worked for you today?

I deleted the majority of food off my food lists and manually entered them, to ensure I would have accurate food entries. Some of them are still wrong, but I picked entries that were a lot closer to being accurate. The main problems were the generic entries like fruit and veges, so I'm going to enter those now.7

Outsmarting myself- I realised that I was subconsciously avoiding hitting a weight target of 150lbs as I had planned to start going to the gym when I got to that point and was nervous about it, so decided to just go to the gym now, even though I'm still 3lbs from goal, that way I can't use it as an excuse anymore. I didn't overthink it, I just went and it wasn't actually that bad!15

I buy snacks in snack size packages. I tend to eat "Just one more" than the serving size because "that chip was small and surely doesn't count as 1" ......but snacks being premeasured actually works for me.9 -
I premade a salad for tomorrows lunch. Was thinking about putting aside some stuff for porridge and a protein shake for breakfast, but that was just a step too far, lols.9

Last night it was two cups of 0-calorie tea10

I worked out and that really helps cut my desire to eat.

I realized I think of myself as a fit person now. I've lost weight before, but part of me still saw myself as fat. I figured if I'm fat anyway, might as well eat garbage food; it won't make any difference. This time, I feel more like a skinny person. I want to exercise and eat good food now! There are some foods I'm not eating in the house right now and I'm not tempted at all. I don't want to do that to my body anymore!11

I feel about the same as the above comment. I dont want to eat all that fattening food any more. My main reason is I like fitting in my clothes. I now realize I dont want to do that damage to my body again. Before I looked at that food as yummy, now I look at it as damaging to me.

Agree and for me it's more and more raw food 💗

What worked for me today was a cup of dessert tea with a dollop of fresh whipped cream on top. It was only 50 calories but it was a delicious after-dinner treat.8

Remembering that fluctuations are natural and you can be up a couple of pounds (hello, salty foods!) and still be on the right path15

Forgot to pack a lunch, and was starving. Had a table spoon of PB instead of hitting the vending machine at work. Just enough to keep me from gnawing my arm off until I get home from work...

What worked for me was thinking about not following my hearts desire to Bing on the box of donuts my husband brought the kids today. Not over eating to cover up my disappointment of self, for not getting more done today. Reminded myself that I with God's help stopped bing drinking and drinking in general. I stopped my ocational chain smoking and Now time to face the desire to bing damaging arterial cloggingfoods. Blessed to finally have awareness of this 🙏12

One of the other teachers has students look in a mirror every day during arrival and say something positive about themselves or state a goal for the day. Today I participated too: I said I would stick to my diet today. I think that maybe voicing my goal aloud in front of others will motivate me to REALLY stick to it. It's worth a try, anyhow.13

Adhering to my morning ritual. Get up, get into workout clothes I laid out the night before, coffee that I preset the night before, meditate, walk the dog, watch the headlines, and work out. The same routine every day really sets the tone for me, I feel like I’ve conquered the day before it’s even started11

finally realized why I was so hungry. I was eating too many carbs. Today I did not eat them and I was not hungry like I had been for days. I felt so much better and not going around starved for a change. I ate healthy and no junk food and I felt so good.8

This morning I'm rejoining Pickleball

I've been low on my fruit intake lately so today, instead of my usual weekend pancakes, I made a fruit and nut cereal bowl. It was delicious, filling, and had 2 cups of fruit ^_^8

Today a co-worker gave me a Snickers muffin from a local bakery as an early birthday gift. I thanked her graciously, said I'd save it for later, but secretly didn't want it. After lunch, I usually crave a little something sweet, and usually am satisfied by counting out and enjoying 10 M&Ms. Today I decided to "try" the muffin. One bite and I did not like it (not really a fan of Snickers candy bars tbh). When the coast was clear, I ditched the muffin in the trash. In the past, I would not have thrown out free food. Win!12

8am outdoor Zumba class, 31 degrees when we started 🥶 ❤️ (not a typo)
Also checked on the Pickleball ladies and got the schedule for the courts
Will slowly see if my knees will take the twisting
This winter I did volunteered to help with snow removal
Sounded like fun and a reason to 'get up and at it'

Recognizing that I'm grieving (we had to put our dog down yesterday and she was my soul mutt) and that eating those feelings is simply not going to work. In fact, it's just piling disappointment on top of sadness. Instead I'm sitting with the grief, continuing to eat healthily, and simply allowing myself to be in pain.21

I really love this, because anything from the vending machine probably wouldn't have stopped the hunger for long anyway.9 -
Road trip to bring my stream engine home
Water lines and freezing temperatures don’t mix well
Stay healthy and enjoy life ✅2 -
tried to do the no flour and sugar thing, that is what didnt work for me. I went back to counting my calories and having 100 gr of carbs or less. I know that works for me. I found out if it works dont mess with it.12
