Hello! Count me in on this January Challenge! I'm 56F, Already lost 140lbs over the past year on MFP, have been enjoying my new body, mindset and life and am now ready to polish off the last 70 lbs. So glad you're all here and thank you to Jill for Hosting! I am starting today, Thursday, December 30, 2021 - This will give me a couple of days to work out "kinks" before Saturday the 1st.
Goals For January:- Commit to my planned day, no matter what, no matter what time of day, every single day
- Plan for the UnPlanned
- Stay within calorie goal
- Acknowledging my diet challenges - Late Night Eating and "ok-ing cakes, cookies, chips, ice cream, candy". I've

Lb Loss per Week = 2
January 31st Finishing Weight = 211.6
Goal Weight = 150.1 by Thursday, September 29, 2022. (But just focusing on January for now....)

I need to recover from this backslide drift I've been in over the past 10 weeks.
Goals:
To stop the backslide and reach my mini goal of 5lbs. less.
#1: To break habit of cruising the kitchen and eating while standing up.
#2: To break habit of mindlessly putting food in my mouth; think "Is it worthy? Is this wise?"\
#3: To complete my personal " Think 33" challenge. Will doing this be beneficial or will it sabotage my progress.
#4: Plan by having veggies prepped, healthy meals prepped.
#5: Record everything eaten
#6: Enter either calories or points
#7: Aim for IMPROVEMENT, not Perfection: Graph daily total points to give a visual
#8: End day with a Gratitude Journal; be kind to myself but don't allow indulgence. Re define "kind"

Happy new year everyone! Iβm Athena. I am loving these challenges, they are helping me stay motivated!
My goal for this month is to start to focus on my physical activity, this is where I struggle the most. I plan to wake up and go to the gym on weekdays every morning for an hour and occasionally do classes in the afternoon. Iβll also continue to push to only eat out on weekends. I am going to try to lose 4 pounds each month.

Woot! Woot! Iβm here. I've been hanging out with Jill since last January... and even a bit before that, in another challenge. So thanks, Jill, for getting this started. The new year brings the additional challenge of trying to recover from my weight slide back to sometime in 2020. Although I basically maintained throughout most of 2021, I totally fell off everywhere mostly between Halloweβen and now. Alas.
My goals include (from most difficult to the easiest)

π₯€Drinking more water than diet soda
π₯ Staying within my calorie limits
πβMaking sure I get some βme timeβ
π ππ»ββοΈπ΄π»ββοΈ Exercising daily (at least 20 minutes total - not always an accurate time since I don't have a fitness watch, use my phone, and I'm not allowed to have my phone with me during the day at work, but it won't get a thumbs up unless I'm sure I've hit that 20 minute mark)
π Tracking every meal
βοΈWeighing daily is a given for me, so this will be the easiest one for me.
Highest Weight: Somewhere between 227-230... I don't know. I avoided the scale.

I have spent pretty much my whole life trying to lose weight and I just keep gaining no matter what I do. I was even under the care of a doctor, nutritionist, and personal trainer for awhile and still couldn't even stand to look at myself in the mirror.
My goal is 125 lbs because that was the last time I could stand to look at myself, was comfortable, and could find clothes I like in my size but I'll settle for 200 lbs if I absolutely have to.
