The last ten pounds, and especially the last five or eight are almost always very difficult.
If your ultimate goal is 135, you will probably end up going up and down between 130 and 140 or something like that, and it might serve you well to see that as success!2 -

I’m ready to stop eating all my emotions and grief and get back on track to the business of health and well-being. Recommitting today!
Jan 07…..…..192.6…..(Trend Weight: 191.9)….. It’s been ahellofa week with new flooring being put down in 85% of the main floor of my house. I’ve been trapped in a small section of my livingroom. No stove or fridge for 8 days. It’s finally (almost) done. Today should be the last major day. I’m hoping more movement and water will help. And better planned meals.
Jan 14…..…..194.0…..(Trend Weight: 192.5)….. Travel yesterday has pushed the weight up overnight from 192.6 to 194.0. Chinese food, less-than-usual water, lack of movement during car travel. I will begin reversing all of those today.
Jan 21…..…..193.0…..(Trend Weight: 193.0)….. Well, I AM down from last week but I’m up a bit from yesterday due to a piece of late night pumpkin pie. Otherwise, diet has been good the past couple of days. There’s always room for improvement though. Also, my movement is very limited due to some new reno projects in kitchen, dining room and now living room. No privacy with crew either. I did start babysitting for my 4 year old grandson this week so that keeps me going up and down stairs. It’s better than nothing!

Jan 22: 138.8 Went over my calories on Monday, but was under them every other day this week. I drank 64 oz minimum of water daily and even upped my exercise by 15 per day to compensate. This has to be water retention because I didn't eat that many calories to gain fat. I think I'll be able to reach my goal this month anyway.

I have allowed myself to be lackadaisical about food choices and exercise due to outside influences. I need to be more vocal about my needs in these areas.

Remember to be proud of what you've managed to do this month, as well! Slow and steady prevents the yo-yo-ing and gives skin more time to recover elasticity and limit loose skin too1 -
