Hi all. Currently 8lbs down and counting! 😁
We have a local butchers that do a meat deal so we got that on Sunday. It use to be £25 but with everything going up in price it's now £30 but still worth it. You get 500g each of mince, chicken, steak, pork loin steak and bacon, 1kg of sausages, 4 burgers, 6 eggs and cheese. It makes me cook more buying this and gets hubby in the kitchen as much as he can handle too.
Did have Friday and Saturday off plan so had a bit of a gain on scales but it's going again.

@cbabie well done on tracking and the loss! Hope you enjoyed the park

@trooworld wow. nice meal prepping!! good job

    @TeresaW1020 you've got this! 😁

Morning all, I went for a bike ride yesterday..It was so nice. I didn't eat well, too much sugar. I think I am going to have to do what @TeresaW1020 is doing...stickers. LOL. Baby girl went to bed early, got up early, but now she is sleeping again..but I am still UP>>>>>>>

@roz0810 Love you can get that meat...I buy once a month from Sams...I don't like other meat. We spend one day packaging and it's in the freezer...only thing is I have to do better meal planning LOL. Congrats on the loss!

@TeresaW1020 So glad you had such a good day after church. That's how I would like my Sundays..because I am a preachers kid..Sunday was church day and nap time..LOL. It simply meant we were together as a family and I love those kind of days. I like you sticker idea...might steal.

@trooworld I did send out the hounds...you should be seeing her.. Great job on listening to your body!! We had beans 2 nights ago..it was good. LOL Last night we had pancakes..that's part of my comfort food...but they were good.. :). You got this job thing...your boundaries are in place!!! :)

hello all I'm here. I got on yesterday and was actually typing a responses and then lost my post. So I've decided not to catch up with posting I'll just read and see what happened.

I didn't realize it had been that long. I'm still working on closets and now my bedroom decluttering. I lost a lb last week so that's something.

I need to get my routine back so I don't get lost again.

@trooworld So keep adding a bit to your snacks you take until you find the right amount. Would 1 1/2 c of cantaloupe do it? Or is it a visual thing and you need another item. 2 vs 3. I make pancakes every Friday. My favorite way is to put PB on them with just a tad of syrup. I don't like it when they are soggy from too much syrup. I used to be a salty person until menopause hit and then it has turned me into mostly a sweets person. Notice I didn't say sweet person cause I've always been sweet. ;)

Morning all, I went for a ride yesterday, so that was good. I didn't track, should have but didn't. I spent much of the day cleaning, mopping floors, rearranging baby girls room and cleaning my desk...no wonder I was sneezing..LOL I rearranged my desk too, hopefully to make me more productive in some things I want to get done. We had eat what you can find for dinner last night and I ate an egg sandwich. I haven't had one in a LONG time..it was good.

@trooworld Yea for taking the snacks and your chicken salad sounds yummy, well except the avocado. Never could eat those. I have never been salty because I always "held" water. However, sometimes I do like my wheat thins. LOL

@theslightedgeforever declutter is good...it's a process, but boy do you feel great afterwards. My oldest keeps telling me get rid of it, we don't want to have to go through it when you die...and I SAY, I AM NOT DYING anytime soon..LOL She is always saying didn't you have to tell your parents what to do as they aged..I just IGNORE...she thinks she is taking my keys in about 5 years.. NOT. Great job on losing the lb..it's always the motivation to keep that moving down. RIGHT?

@trooworld I hope you like having the new weigh-in day better. Did you switch because you changed meetings? Do you like your WW leader? That salad sounds so good! I’ve never had golden beets. :)

@theslightedgeforever Congrats on your pound loss! I seriously need to get inside my closet and get to decluttering. And my pantry needs a complete overhaul…again! :#

@cbabie I just got done reorganizing my desk too. All the stickies I had everywhere have been combined into one long to-do list. It at least makes me feel like I’m getting stuff done. Why do you feel like you need to track your food? Clearly, you are like me and just don’t want to. So why do it? I came to this realization that when I track perfectly I do fine with my calories/macros. But when I decide, for whatever reason, not to track it seems to give me license to eat more than I do when I just don't track at all. It's all very mental with me and that is not a very good mindset. I am writing down what I eat in my daily planner, but I don’t track the calories. It’s just data and if I’m not good then I don’t get my cute little star sticker. I want my stickers!!! :D

Hello! Today is such a beautiful day that I really should be out doing something other than sitting at this computer. I took Joe to the urologist this morning and they removed the cath and now we are praying he can go on his own before we return at 3:30 for a bladder scan. He is drinking a lot, so maybe! *Fingers crossed* I’m doing well with my NBA rules and I have my stickers for my daily planner. If I stick to my 3 never rules, I get a sticker that day. My rules are to Never Again eat sugar/snacky foods at work, see the scale go up two days in a row, and clean fast for a minimum of 17 hours. My goal is to nail these three rules every day until June 12th when Joe’s youngest son comes to visit. I have these adorable green pants that I bought last year and haven’t been able to comfortably fit into. They are my June 12th goal pants! :)

Morning all, I walked yesterday morning with baby girl, and I got some things done that I have been wanting to do for a long time...so I counted it as a productive day and night!!! It was truly exciting to get something accomplished on the left side of my brain. LOL. Someone told me yesterday, that if I would do something creative, some of my other whirling around in my head ideas would be focused. I think it was a good thing. I did not track!

@TeresaW1020 I actually laughed out loud when I read your post. I track because " I am supposed to". LOL. I think I like your thinking and I think I am going to try that today. (Gotta get some stickers). I pray Joe gets back to being Joe full time..My DH is at the doctor right now, nothing earth shattering, but he got that cold or whatever I had and he sounds terrible. He smokes so I tell him you MUST go...I don't go because I don't have insurance, (thankfully I am healthy). He has insurance and just would never go...So I am glad he is finally going!!!

@trooworld what is your easy slow cooker lasagna meal? I was just thinking that Lasagna would be good this week. Great job on the snacks..LOL I can't help I don't like those green things. :). I think I got my eating habits from my dad. My mom loved all those veggie things. (my sister) LOL.

I have to tell you guys that it was good to get on here today and laugh! Thank you for being you!!!!

@trooworld good job on getting 4 blue dots in a row! I think it’s great to strive for them. It’s like getting a sticker! Mmmm slow cooker lasagna sounds good!

@cbabie What a good idea to do something creative to calm your mind! I’m glad it worked for you. Yeah, the “I’m supposed to track,” is interesting, isn’t it? I honestly think tracking is great for those that it works for. For me, I have proven time and time again that it throws me into a weird diet brain mentality where I’m either good or I’m bad. I don’t want food to have that much power over me anymore! Also, I don’t really believe that we need to have a set number of calories that we eat every day. Can you say that you need the exact same calories on a day you sit like a slug and do nothing vs. a day you ride your bike 3 miles, do a bunch of housework, and/or run errands all day? I know my body requires different amounts of food depending on what I’ve done that day, and how much or how little I ate the day before. Soooo just food for thought, huh? ;)

Hello! Well, yesterday didn’t go as Joe and I had hoped. He was able to pee on his own, but the bladder scan showed that he wasn’t emptying the way he should. So, he is back wearing the catheter for the next four weeks and then we will see. He might have to wear it forever and while that is hard for us to accept, we may have no choice. :'( In other news, I said no to my inner Pig today when there were leftover cookies in the youth room. I actually held them in my hand and contemplated what my feelings would be if I ate those five small cookies. A brief tasty treat and then the rest of the day feeling angry that I caved. I want my sticker in my book! I want to get into my green pants! I want to prove that I’m the boss and NOT the Pig!! So, those cookies went into the trash! B) I was going to fast until dinner today but I was very hungry when I came home from cleaning, so I had a cup of coffee and ½ scoop of protein powder. I will eat a small dinner tonight and then fast until I eat an early lunch tomorrow. I’m hungry right now but I’m also feeling happy that I’m doing what I need to do. :)

Morning all, I have done nothing of my normal routine today. I will try to get on a bike ride today...but right now it's not looking promising. (I can hear my sister say, "do a video". LOL I didn't eat too well or too bad, but I did right every thing down in my planner..so that's a start. I have so much anxiety over stupid stuff right now, I am working on that and that in turn will help my eating habits.

@TeresaW1020 So sorry that Joe had to put the catheter back in. I know there will be things in my future that I would rather not do or live with, but I hope I have the positive attitude you guys do. I am really trying to change somethings about me even at this age. I agree, there are days we need more calories and some less. I used to be of the mindset that if I ate 8400 calories in a week, what did it matter if I ate them all in one day...(not really one day) but you get my drift. I think for now I am going to just write down what I eat in my planner and then go from there.

@trooworld YUM, the recipe sounds yummy, thank you!!! I hope you go to ER or urgent care if you need to...severe pain is not a good thing. My water has not been good, thank you for the reminder. Please take care of YOU...I like coming here everyday to visit you!! I guess I had better see if my sister got lost in her closet. LOL

Hi all...not much different going on here, lol. Still trying to walk on the treadmill each morning & have started a few exercises for core & balance, and bouncing on my rebounder. Weight dropping just a little.

@cbabie I had to laugh when you said your sister might have gotten lost in her closet. Something I should be doing! I try not to think of food as good or bad, it really is just food. Might not be the most nutritous choice, but still just food. Glad you are doing some bike rides, I keep thinking I need to get mine out, only its under the deck, and we have a raccoon that keeps coming in our backyard, and dh says he goes under the deck a lot (can see evidence of him being there), so now I don't want the bike out, lol. Not really a good excuse, but....! I see you are writing your food in your planner, I think that is a good idea, sometimes the actual calorie count is triggering for people.

@TeresaW1020 Poor Joe. I really hope things start looking up for him. Not fun to have so many things going on! You are doing a great job with him & your health mindset, too. I agree you need to eat more when you do more, that's the way MFP is set up since it adds to your calorie base when you add exercise. If only I didn't eat the same, when I have done less, lol.

@trooworld The basic crockpot lasagna sounds good, but I am sure I would take the lazy way & use bottled spaghetti sauce, lol. I might have to try it sometime. Sorry you are having stomach pains. There was a stomach virus going around here recently, too. I think I remember dd saying it was in the school.
    Hope you feel better soon.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

    Good Morning All!

Quick check in. All things are good. Just busy. Trying to figure out if I should quit my weekend job or not. The extra money even though it’s not a ton. It’s nice to have but I’m getting burnt out. They didn’t put me on the schedule this past month and it was definitely nice. Got a lot of things done, spent time with family and friends. And my dogs were definitely better behaved and relaxed. I’m just worried if Murphy decides to make a visit again.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Morning all, I really didn't do much physically yesterday, but I did get a dress laid out and cut out for baby girl...and my sewing machine that hasn't seen the light of day in years...cleaned, oiled and ready for use. LOL. I did write down what I ate.

@RetiredAndLovingIt Yea, I will use spaghetti sauce too..LOL. Cooking really is not one of my strong points. LOL. I laughed about the deck and the bikes...I would be doing the same thing. I want a place where no animals of any kind live. LOL. You are moving your body and that is the best thing regardless of how we move it right?

@gemwolf110 Yea, burnout is no joke...I guess you have to weigh the money vs your down time. My DH worked 2 jobs most of our married life...so it's hard I know. I saw something the other day, someone commented live in the now it so struck me I had to write it down...her twin sister was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer and because of some choices (the twin without cancer) had made early on in her she was able to spend time helping her twin in her everyday life...I guess what I am saying, is we really don't know if we have tomorrow, yes we need to plan as if we do, but we also have to live today like it could be our last.

@trooworld I am doing the happy dance for you...you know I have weighed both ways..and it seems to be the same...I guess unless I have something REALLY heavy on...so I am going to believe you are down exactly what you think you are..congratulations!!!! PS I did tell my sister she was stuck in her closet and to get out..LOL

@gemwolf110 You do need to weigh the extra time you get to enjoy your life vs. the extra money. Remember that your time is valuable too so take that into consideration when you are deciding. :)

@trooworld Woot on losing 3 lbs. this week! That is fantastic!! B) Those ham and cheese sliders are one of my go-to potluck dishes too! Everyone adores them. In May we are having a Mexican-themed potluck and I found a recipe for taco sliders that I’m probably going to make. :)https://www.dinneratthezoo.com/taco-sliders/#recipe

@cbabie How nice that you can make Baby Girl a dress? My grandma used to make me and my sister's clothes all the time when we were little. Every couple of months my mom would get a box in the mail with little matching dresses. Crazy how they always fit perfectly! :)

Hello! Today has been one of those all-day cleaning days. After working out, I have done laundry, floors, kitchen, bathroom, our pills for the week, new chair pads on the bottom of our kitchen chairs and cut Joe’s hair, and helped him take a shower. Other than making a ham & cheese frittata for dinner in just a few minutes, I am done for the day! According to my planner, I lost exactly 9 lbs. in April. I am really happy with that and plan to make May just as good or better! I’m keeping my mind focused on our company coming in June. I really want my weight loss to be noticeable. Am I vain? Heck yeah!!! :D

Closets are organized. Hubby and I both have walk-ins and I ended up with 7 big garbage bags of garbage and 3 for charity.
Now I’m still not done decluttering. I have to organize all my jewelry. Plus some of my mothers. Plus buy some containers for storage. I still have liked in my bedroom but everything is sorted

@cbabie I think Teresa had some good advice about tracking. Take your keys 😂. My eating habits are more like dad. I’m still trying out vegetables

@TeresaW1020 are those three rules on your NEVER list or where do they fall. The 17 hr fast confused me. I’m enjoying the book. My friend and I are doing it together. Good job ignoring the pig squeal.

@trooworld 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 On blue dots I don’t like avocado either. But I was listening yesterday to a health podcast and they were talking about broccoli. Someone said they didn’t like broccoli and the dr said how many times have you tried it. Just the once they said. The dr says there are thousands of broccoli recipes. Keep trying til you find one you like. So maybe I need to do that with avocado

@RetiredAndLovingIt I have a rebounder too. Are you just bouncing around or do you do it to videos?

@trooworld Congrats on your 2.8 lb. loss this week! That is awesome and you did amazing at the potluck. Way to exercise self-control! B)

@theslightedgeforever I know you are feeling much lighter having your closets so cleaned out and organized. I did get into mine and straighten it up and got a box of donations out of it. Hubby says if I would get rid of some shoes it would look even better. Uhhh NOT!! :p I will rewrite my food rules below so they are clearer. I hope! :D I’m glad you like the book. I do too!!

Good morning! I was happy to lose 2.2 lbs. this week and I’m hoping to do just as well this week. I have my rules in place and a vow to do each day 100% and get a sticker in my planner. At the end of the month, I want to be in these green pants and a cute matching shirt that I have never worn. The pants have been in my closet for a year and the shirt for at least five years. I have several eating events this month but I am NOT using them as an excuse to go off my plan. And I realize that I have to fight each day to keep up this mindset and not let the Pig get the better of me. She will try at every turn and I have to be ready for it. OK, I’m off to work out. I can’t believe how much I’m loving this new workout, Chalene Extreme. It’s a great program and I’m actually motivated to go in and do some cardio this morning!

    Never Again Rules:
    1) Eat sugar/snacky foods at work—NO sneaking, stealing, or buying junk food is the rule!
    2) Gain weight more than two days in a row—unless I’m sick, on vacation, or having company visiting.
    3) Fast clean for at least 17 straight hours—This is from the last bite of dinner to the next day when I open my window to eat again.
:star: REWARD for doing my rules 100% is a cute smiley sticker in my planner!

Morning all, well I didn't do much yesterday. I let things get to me and I am working on not allowing that. Funny story, (NOT) I got on the scale yesterday before church and was the same as last week, got on this morning ( my normal WI day) and gained 2 lbs... So I am going to own it and hopefully next week it will go back down + some.. LOL. I didn't drink enough water I think is part of my issue and I didn't write down all my food last night. I really am working on getting the me back that I was a few years ago. Somewhere along all the drama/trauma in my life...I lost her. My DH is still sick, his cough is terrible and now he tells me he thinks he got a hernia from coughing so hard...but won't go to a DR...so yea I need the other me back. LOL

@TeresaW1020 Wow you got a lot accomplished and so proud of the loss for the month. That is really something to be proud of and no you are not vain because you want to look good..I like your never rules..and love the bullet point. my kind of girl.

@trooworld Yea on the loss, ugh on the lost point. I remember when that happened to me..don't be like me..I gave up. I didn't like the restrictions. LOL. Of if only my DH would cook..yes I am done by 3pm on a Sunday and maybe even 1pm..LOL. btw, I made your lasagna yesterday, family loved it.. I just realized I didn't eat it..LOL, I always try to eat the left overs to clean the refridge...knowing I will get to something I liked at some point. Thank you for sharing the recipe. It was nice to come home from church and not have to COOK.

@theslightedgeforever Not sure how you cooked Avocado that I would like it. Yea on the closet clean out..I really need to do that again. It seems to get cluttered every month. I saw some clothes in my closet and like said I will never wear that and then put it back saying well maybe...(don't throw it away)... LOL. I listened to a person talking about trends for spring and gingham is in...I said NOT, but she said if you don't like that you can get away with houndstooth. I said YES that is more my style. LOL.

Great job to all of you, now lets see what we can do for May!!!

WELLLLLLL yesterday was a bust of my old habits...so better choices today. I just hate meal planning...someday that job will go to someone else. LOL. I did go for a walk, took baby girl to the park, but other than that...no real movement.

@trooworld LOL I think we must have both had the same thoughts. MY eyeballs are killing me, want to go back to bed, but can't. I am going to jump in the shower and see if that helps. I can control my actions, and I don't..so time to start being in charge of ME> LOL.

Morning all, I was an emotional eater yesterday, did go to the park, but basically got some work done at my desk. It was a productive day, but not a healthy day. I triggered myself by eating too early in the morning. I know that I have to wait for a bit and not eat or it just sets me on the wrong path. Luckily I also got some "cookies" out of my house, unfortunately I got them out by eating them. LOL. Won't buy those again. No one liked them but me and I just couldn't throw them in the garbage. Do any of you have to fight the mental thought to clean your plate? I will clean my plate no matter if I am full, almost sick to my stomach, etc. I try then to do small portions..but sometimes....

@trooworld So glad you made it!!!! 16hr fast window, that is a long one. LOL you planned for this to be DH night to cook with no meal prep. I know you did. LOL. Yes the shower helped...sat in HOT water for a very long time..but it felt sooooooo good.

Hi all.. weather is better today..finally quit raining! They say Mon we might hit high 80's. Wow...go from winter to summer, no spring! Lost internet awhile ago---they are putting a new electrical line through the easement in our back yard & nicked our cable/internet. Think they have it going again. I guess the new electrical is because when Metronet put fiber through, they nicked our neighbors electric & they are without power. We first saw them working there a few days ago, hope they haven't been without power that long!! When I saw them messing around the electric box (without knowing what was going on) all I could think was don't knock out our electric, lol. Dh went outside this am & they told us what was going on.

@cbabie Well, at least you got desk work done. Unfortunately, I would probably eat the cookies too, "just to get rid of them", lol. My latest indulgence has been dark chocolate coated pretzel thins. Ooh, so good, but shouldn't buy them because I don't think dh eats them. (at least not like I do, lol) I have been trying to walk on treadmill first thing, so usually don't eat breakfast until about 9:30 or so. (dh has already had breakfast & a snack by then, lol) Just keep trying!!

@trooworld I don't meal plan..I keep thinking I will, but just don't get it done. 16 hrs is a good fast. You are SOOO lucky that your dh cooks!! Mine makes his breakfast, but no meals.

@theslightedgeforever You asked about my rebounder. Right now all I do is bounce..I read that it is good for your lymph system. I wanted one, but never got it, & then found one at a garage sale last fall in OK. Dh (& my brother, lol) thought I was nuts that I wanted it, but I got it anyway. They thought I wouldn't use it, but I am, so it was a good purchase. Never thought about trying other exercise on it, but not sure I will. One broken leg was enough for me, lol.

Well, when the internet was out, I started doing some of my bookwork, etc., so I suppose I should get back to it.

Morning all, I tracked yesterday, but I went over as usual. I was mad at myself and was grumpy. So today needs to be the reset day...I have been getting lots of things done, but not exercising. It's starting to get too hot already, so I have to figure this out because my body just plain hurts when I don't move it. I took baby girl to hobby lobby yesterday...she says what is this? I said its a store that other people just love...she says I love it too!!! she had to buy a little piece of fabric. It was used as a blanket for her baby..I told her I had LOTS of fabric at home she could pick from...but NO....I had to get out of the fabric dept..I spent more than I planned on..LOL

@RetiredAndLovingIt I am there with you on the broken leg. LOL. Glad they fixed the internet, but I would say they need better employees. LOL. skill set not to good for what they do. So glad you are using whatever that thingy is you bought to bounce on. LOL

@roz0810 Great job...you have found your grove..keep it up..

@trooworld Sorry no blue dot...I think I should use dots for my moods..boy I would have some color in my book. LOL. I used to meal plan and buy food, now it's just get to the store buy what you remember and hope you have the rest...I HAVE TO CHANGE THAT FOR SURE!!! I look up to you..

@theslightedgeforever hope you visit us soon.

@TeresaW1020 know you are busy...just wanted you to know I am saying prayers for your household.

@trooworld sounds like you are working hard on the blue dots. Practice makes perfect.

@cbabie Why not make a weekly plan for 6 weeks or 4 weeks and then just start all over again. I’m going to do a 4 week plan. I’ve got the first week set up on Trello. I have a meal planning board and a What I’m eating this week board. Sorry to hear about dh. I had sore ribs from coughing too hard back when I had Covid in early 2020.

@roz0810 You are doing so well. Keep it up. Such an inspiration

@RetiredAndLovingIt yes that’s why I got a rebounder. For the lymph system. I hardly use it though. I took it downstairs close to my gym. It won’t fit in the gym. I’m shooting for one day a week.

So I ate an some avocado slices in my salad today. I usually take them out. Still don’t like the texture and it has no taste.

    Walked 21 min with hubby.

Morning all, I tracked yesterday, but it was awful as I ate my anger the last few min of my night. (working on just going to bed). I walked and went to the park, so got some movement in. That was good. Ok I was looking at what you are talking about as a rebounder...it's a mini trampoline? Baby girl jumps and jumps and jumps and we have talked about getting her a small trampoline for the back yard with a net around it...and now I am wondering...LOL

@theslightedgeforever funny thing is I bought a planner for meals that already has everything for you, grocery list meals planned, etc...haven't used it...yes it's time to use it and modify if needed.

@trooworld You weekend just wore me out.. LOL. Yes I do need to plan..I hate when someone asks me whats for dinner...I want to say YOU FIGURE IT OUT..I am tired. Good job o your water...I actually drank 3 of my containers yesterday..I was trying that instead of grabbing a snack..first. LOL

Morning all, I did better choices yesterday. I looked at labels before I ate it and decided if it was worth it at that very moment. LOL. I was still a little over, but I am happy with my choices. I went for a bike ride yesterday, but mostly vegged on the couch watching show I have been trying to watch for 3 weeks now. LOL. I almost forgot..I sewed some too. LOL

@trooworld yea on the loss, you are doing great. Great idea to take a Lyft today. I hope you enjoy and relax!!!

@trooworld Congrats on your loss this week! Have a great time at the blues festival. That sounds like so much fun!

@cbabie glad you are making better choices. It’s tough, I know but we just gotta keep trying. :)

Hello! Sorry that I’ve been missing. I let the Pig out a couple of days ago and was in full control for a couple of days. Last night I had a bottle of wine and ate all the snacks I could find in the house. I woke up feeling awful, but I made myself do a workout which helped. I also joined the Never Binge Again intensive program that starts on Monday. I thought I could just do it alone, but I don’t think I can. I don’t think I can really stop the lifelong bad habits of binge eating without really getting to my root issues. Hopefully, this program will help me do that. We will see! :/

@trooworld Did you get groceries yet? I'd love to have a personal shopper for that. I see those commercials on TV and think that would be nice to have someone go get my groceries. Ignore the scale and keep working towards those blue dots.

@cbabie Yaaay on doing some things you consider fun. What show did you watch? You tracked and you feel good about your choices. That's progress.

@teresaw1020 Was the wine a trigger? Where does wine fall into your Pig rules? I started my Never Binge Again program on Thursday. So far so good. I'm doing colored cycling days like I did before but not counting carbs but calories. I'm trying to incorporate more veggies, beans, and legumes and that won't work with carbs. Instead of a Pig mine is a Beast. I also have a Sloth. I'm on the first draft of my rules. I had to make Fridays an Orange day instead of Yellow since I have decided to allow eggs on Orange days. With dh being retired now sometimes he wakes up and says let's go out to breakfast. Usually toward the weekend. So I feel eggs/omelettes would be a better breakfast choice. Let me know if you learn anything new in the intensive program.

Yesterday I said no to donuts and had only one cheese bread instead of two like I normally would. Today I said no to a cinnamon bun. I've exercised for 30 min to a video with 50-60's music. It was fun. I still need to go do my stretching. The front of my thighs are killing me. I don't know what kind of exercise or movement I would have done lately but it's muscle pain in both legs in the same place. I'm giving myself green dots if I meet my water goal, exercise goals, and calorie goals. One green dot for Friday. Yaaay. On to today.....

    Hi All!

Had a nice busy day off finally after a 12 day stretch. I’m wiped out. Got paint to start painting the walls and supplies. Now to just clean and paint. Got work for the next 6 days. Hopefully will get a chance to deep clean the walls before painting.
Hope all is well. My mind is blah at this point. Lol.

@theslightedgeforever Wine wasn’t in my pig rules but maybe it should be. I wasn’t going to drink anything this month, but then so much went wrong that when I went into the store and walked past the wines, I just grabbed my favorite and put it in my cart. Haha, I need to have a Sloth too! Fitting the eggs in your routine so it works for you is a good idea. I have eggs almost every day because it’s quick and tasty. Good job on saying no to foods that are not on your plan! I will let you know what I learn. :)

@gemwolf110 Are you painting all the walls in your house? I love to paint but setting up and cleaning up are a pain. I need to repaint my bathroom at some point. :)

@trooworld OK, you had more indulgences than planned at the festival and after you came home, so just get right back on track today. Was the music good? We are both of the same opinions about Mother’s Day. I plan to stay off FB today too and just stay busy. :/

Good morning! It’s cool out and we are sitting here waiting to go to church. Joe is feeling better, but he is still so dang weak. We had an argument that he couldn’t wear jeans that are literally falling off his scrawny butt. He’s been living in sweats, so he thinks pants that actually fit him are too tight. Ugghh! :s I’m excited to start the new intensive program tomorrow and really hoping that it will help me stay more focused while giving me some really useful tools along the way. Tonight, I’m making enchiladas because they are mom’s favorite, and then next week, it’s going to be mostly a very low-carb week. I’ve been allowing way too many carbs in and that needs to stop. Have a great day!

@gemwolf110 You sound so busy. I hope you have time for self care.

@trooworld Am I fully on track? For the most part, yes. Still working on the water. I think holidays are hard in general. So many expectations and reality never meets expectations.

@teresaw1020 I'm excited to hear about your new program. Anything else we can learn.

I earned another green dot for the week

Afternoon all, I tracked yesterday, indulged a little, but "knew" what I was doing, it wasn't mindless. LOL.
I also went for a 30 min walk, walking off energy that I needed to get rid of...

Today I didn't make the best choice I was so hungry after church and I had been literally crying since last night it feels, that I ate my PB sandwich..not that it's horrible, I just know it uses up most of my fat grams. LOL. Funny story at church, Pastor was talking about how God holds all your tears..I texted his wife and said God has a lake with my name on it. After church, I got a ha ha ha.. I understand about certain holidays, frankly none are good for me, but I try to make it good for others. Yes sister I don't sit anymore with my arms crossed..LOL.

@TeresaW1020 I laughed about your comment on the binge eating...and you new program..I said I know what causes mine and they live with me....so now to figure out how to turn that around...I am working on it...glad DH is feeling better and soon he will get his strength back.

@gemwolf110 I am worn out reading your post...(you work the next 6 days...and you want to deep clean and paint). UGH...I will let you do all that and I will just read about all your energy and refreshing your house. LOL. I know just think about all the calories you will burn and it will look so great when your done right? LOL

@trooworld Sorry it did't turn out as planned, but teresa is right..keep doing what you have been doing and you are still in control...I always say 1 day is not a lifetime unless you make it that way. LOL. (trying to teach myself that). :)

@theslightedgeforever I saw your dots and thought I am back in grade school..ugh I was never a kid. so maybe it's good I watch you guys with all your dots and be in grade school.. Just do it for fun.. Then maybe I can jump on the dot wagon..but can I have Pink? LOL. great job on the exercises and for the food choices.. yes eggs are good in my book.
