    I hope this doesn't sound discouraging, but it was probably actually 2 months before I saw weight loss. What I did see was increased endurance and strength, and I saw a change in size. I would suggest adding measurements to your plan as well as weight so you can track that. You can add measurements to MFP in the same place you track weight. Just add whatever measurements you want, waist, thigh, etc.

    NWG (non weight goal)- To be healthy again (and lowe my cholesterol to a healthy level). A month ago I quit smoking, I became a vegitarian, and committed myself more to exercising (4-5 times a week of cardio, I'm now ready to add strength training to my work outs). I've already noticed how much better I feel by exchanging some bad habits with good ones.

    Hey groupies!
    So, I'm taking this thing seriously! My husband was instructed to wake me up at 5am so I could get to the gym before heading off to work. I did it! It was terrible and fabulous. 45 minutes on the elliptical and a quick 20 minute dog walk when I got home.
    Packing my lunch so I can eat in my classroom and not be lured into the workroom for cookies (they always have cookies!!!)

    Wow, that's dedication! I love working out but could never do it in the morning! I have to be at work at 7:30 (30 minute drive) & I am NOT a morning person! I am a teacher, too! I teach 5th grade. There always seems to be treats everywhere...other teachers brung chocolate to meetings & it is hard to resist, but I have so far!
