Tracey - Have a great anniversary. I love your wedding photo.
Up v early for DH to get to cricket. We did our exercises. Then I went out to the deli to buy a cucumber.
For my funny lunch I had a packet of Brazilian smoky beans and a packet of cauliflower rice. Added extra chili sauce and had a heap of chopped cucumber, tomatoes, garlic and scallions on top. Heaven for 300 calories.
Watched a French film this afternoon while the cleaner was here. Tried to learn a couple of Icelandic phrases. Not much success.
Dinner is duck legs, new potatoes roasted with it for DH and broccoli.
Love you all, Heather UK xxxxxx π4 -

Welcome Kate! Just grab a chair, or sit on the porch. We talk about everything and anything. Politics and religion are avoided, but life happens as we try to be the best version of ourselves.π

Yay Annie and your exercising! I walked on the treadmill for 35 mins. I did raise the incline to 2.0 every so often. Just walk at a 2.9/3.2 pace. I listen to Pandora. Either KPop, heavy metal, opera, or 80's music. Pretty much listen to anything! But if I am not feeling it I hit the thumbs down button!

Kate in SC - Welcome to the group!
Tracey - Happy anniversary! Your picture is lovely, and you both look so happy...
Rebecca - Happy birthday!
Kylia - Happy 13th anniversary! Corey and I will be married that long as well toward the end of the month. I wouldn't marry him until he turned 40. π
Barbie - Many hugs coming your way.
Barbara AHMOD - Miss you, hope you feel better soon.
KatieBug - I'm so sorry about the furbabies, and hope there's an easing of the stress with your parents.
Beth - I was so pleased to see that Cecil is doing OK, and that the neighbors ponied up. Also hope the parental caregiving stress lessens.Lanette: FACT: Most people love it when you ask their advice about something. I feel like I'm now in the enviable position of having the best of the husbands in my neighborhood without having to cook and clean for them and do their laundry, lol.
OK, that actually did make me LOL.
Speaking of which, our visit with the family this weekend had another nice outcome - the only housework I need to catch up on today is laundry. So, I am sitting here in the house with sweat rolling down my neck just from hanging out the towels. It's 90 degrees now, and the "feels like" temp is 100 because the humidity is between 60 and 70% . That's our forecast for the next two weeks, actually, with only a few degrees of variance.
No worries, the outside work that I want to do can be done in the early morning and then go back inside the rest of the day, which doesn't bother me...
For whatever reason, two years ago, I bought five tank tops (which I only wear around the house because I'm not fond of my bingo wings). I'm assuming I bought them while they were on sale, it sounds like me. But now I am having to modify them extensively, as they're just hanging on me. Had to take five inches out of each side seam at the arm as the armholes were draping nearly to my waist. Wearing the first one I sewed now so I can see if I need to adjust them or not for the others. It's like getting new clothes!
Time to go find some lunch...
Love y'all!
Later,
Lisa

Drippy day here today. Made the dog put on her raincoat when we went out. She does not like it but her coat is so heavy that she stays wet for a long while if I don't keep at least part of her dry. Horses and goats are hanging in their respective sheds with some hay to munch on. We seem to be having what they refer to around here as Junuary.
We will have company over July 4. My cousin and her family are doing a drive up the coast from southern CA and hoping to go to the Canadian border. They are camping along the way so I think we will just need to feed them.
DD was supposed to be on a trip to New Zealand with friends now but decided it was too expensive and declined. Last night she found out one of the people in the group is sick, probably with Covid. At the moment she is very glad she did not go especially since she is immunocompromised.
Everyone have a great day, Sue in WA7 -

Lanetteβ Our Weather Base also shows 58 F. The Columbia River in front of us is very deep compared to usual river flow. An Island directly in front of us is partially under water. People in our neighborhood are not in danger at this time. We are thankful.3

Afternoon ladies
Well i got a text and again my bed is delayed and now until the end of the month..
Shouldn't have taken my bed apart because it is hell trying to get up off the boxspring and mattress on the floor.
I guess it because the supply isnt meeting the demand ,i guess Covid hasn't helped..
Oh well no use crying over spilt milk..
Just grrrrr

Warming up here - will be 28c by the end of the week. Managed a short walk today and also walked up and down the stairs each time I put the kettle on or put something in the microwave for some extra activity. I also started logging food again after a break - trying to get back on track!
