My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, high blood pressure and cholesterol, some osteoporosis and coronary heart disease with a stent in my heart. I am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.
CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 183.4

CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:

10/01-198.6-(Trend Weight: 198.8)-
10/02-199.0-(Trend Weight: 198.8)- Last night was full of cravings and hunger and the late-night snacks are embarrassing. Aiming for a much better day today. My trend weight is sticking and giving me the opportunity to turn this ship back around. I think I’ll take that opportunity! Feeling hopeful.
10/09-200.8-(Trend Weight: 199.5)- An overnight increase of almost 3 pounds this morning due to my heart condition. I couldn’t take my waterpill yesterday and am traveling today, so no pill again. My weight can fluctuate and go up to 5 pounds higher just from the fluids in my legs and abdomen. Ugh. So hard to track progress like this but I just have to trust that the changes I’m making will make a difference in the long run, even if it’s hard to track.

Finally back below my celebration weekend weight again. It just took a week to get there.3 -
Just finished my 1st week restarting the program and I'm down 4.8!! So happy, but I'm a little nervous about the weekend. Going out of town for 5 days for a family wedding, and I'm worried. I guess my goal for this week will be not to gain. Haha! A little off would be great though, so I'll try my best. Certainly don't want to undo the great things I did this week.3

Hi. My goal by the end of December is to be firmly off this plateau I've resided on since Jan 1st. Wt has bounced same 4 lbs up and down. Am an active sr. but have to be mindful of how much I push myself to avoid flaring hip and knee issues.
Last nite was a huge win for me. Didn't eat anything after dinner. yeah! This'll be the key to my wt loss success.
Oct 1st: 164.2
Oct 8th: 163.8
Oct 13th: Was stuck on a plateau of 163, then up and down 1 lb. Now have shifted to a plateau of 165!
And it's midway thru October. Unfortunately this is a pattern.
Today / this evening, I HAVE to remember all the lessons, all the tools i have to get thru today as my first totally on plan day in ages.
Have decided I must check in here daily.

This weekend has events both Saturday and Sunday that will test my eating at maintenance skills. Fall Festivals, sales parties and birthday parties all in a row over 2 days. Almost every weekend through the end of the year is going to be that way though so I'm trying to stay close to maintenance at events and eat lower during the free days.3 -

10/16-200.6-(Trend Weight: 200.1)- My weight has been down lower this week, then back up after lots of travel, which explains the confused trend weight. More travel today. This is insane! I am going to try to be very mindful of what I poke in my pie hole today while away on the 300 mile round trip.

Last weekend we had events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'm really happy to say that I still went down some already this week after a few indulgences at the events. I'm trying to mostly stay on track during the week and just enjoy the festivities at the events. Another big weekend full of food and fun coming up plus a Family Costume Night with a treat path at Chick-Fil-A tonight.2 -
