Last weekend we had events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'm really happy to say that I still went down some already this week after a few indulgences at the events. I'm trying to mostly stay on track during the week and just enjoy the festivities at the events. Another big weekend full of food and fun coming up plus a Family Costume Night with a treat path at Chick-Fil-A tonight.2 -

My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, high blood pressure and cholesterol, some osteoporosis and coronary heart disease with a stent in my heart. I am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

I'm just so tired of being fat!!! Argh!!!! I guess my attitude needs adjusting more that my food intake. Haha! Hope everyone's day is going better than mine.4

Today I asked myself why I still can't see my feet when I look straight down. I feel you. We just have to keep going and not give up.

Had a great weigh in today at 227.1 so I'm setting a mini goal of 220 by Thanksgiving. That would be awesome! Wish me luck (and patience). Haha!3

For accountability... yesterday I didn't log or measure and I had a few higher calorie things. Unlike my scheduled weekend shenanigans this wasn't planned but, instead, was just my lack of self control for a day. I also have a cough when I exert myself so exercise isn't really happening much this week or I wouldn't worry about it overmuch. Here's hoping I keep myself in check the rest of the week and the weekend weigh in isn't too bad.1 -
