** I'm probably not going to achieve my January loss goal, but still I'm happy and relieved with my progress.
On the 20th my iWatch started sending A-fib alerts and on Monday 23rd my cardiologist confirmed it; the betablocker meds make me fatigued and dizzy, and the fact that I'm on blood thinners now with a stroke as a real possibility pretty much just freaks me out. I've suspended my 3x week strength straining and my new 2x week pilates until I feel less fuzzy. Which means I'm relying on walking for my exercise, and even then I'm not charging up hills or going 4 miles like I used to. I see my doctor for followup on the 7th, so I'm just trying not to lose ground until then.
Funny ( to me) note re my pattern of stress snacking: last night I drank 3 bottles of sparkling water and ate all 6 packages of TJ's seaweed snacks! 180 calories and 6 grams of carbs
Dry January! Also, hit my 500-calorie Move goal all 7 days this week (on my iWatch)
68, 5'6" with my only child's wedding happening about 8 months from now. (Think, Game of Thrones' "winter is coming" only substitute "photographs forever are coming")
