A hearty salad bursting with Mediterranean flavors: arugula, walnuts, pistachios, parsley, and Pecorino Romano cheese. With a dressing made of olive oil, lemon juice, and anchovy paste. I was questioning my judgment a little while throwing this together from leftovers, but it is so good that I'm definitely going to make it again.

I literally said Mmmmmm! out loud when I saw your breakfast, lmao. Looks amazing. That bowl of fruit looks like something out of a painting. Your dinner looks & sounds tasty also.1 -
Well this is not my best effort ever, but it got the job done. Tuna salad with cucumbers, avocado, and pickled red onions. Dressed with lime juice, olive oil, green onion, basil, cilantro, and mint. I was lazy and threw all the ingredients together in a bowl instead of following the steps that would have made the salad attractive to look at but once I started eating I realized I had gotten the salt wrong. So I ended up mixing in a pile of arugula to balance out the saltiness, which destroyed the beautiful presentation anyways but I figured you guys didn't need to see that

And I laughed when I saw your arugula salad as I had one very similar with my fish last nightโฆjust no nuts or anchovies. Noted for next time. ๐

Half runners and red potatoes in a cottage ham reduction. ๐ค With a side of bread of corn. Raw onion and the finest Amish yellow tomato. ๐7 -
A sweet & salty snack: hami melon & aged gouda. I chose both of these things based on the macros I was trying to hit for the day, and it just so happened that they harmonize quite beautifully both on the plate and on the palate! Yummy.

I've been eating my way through a bag of arugula and this is the last of it finally! Arugula with smoked trout and a delicious avocado ๐ฅ

Spaghetti! The sauce is made with tomatoes from the garden. The turkey meatballs are okay. I've never really made them before, so next time I know what to do to improve :P

German-style grilled pork shoulder steak (seasoned with s&p, marjoram, and bay leaf). The salad has a dressing of olive oil & lemon juice, Dijon mustard, shallot, and rubbed sage over apple, aged white cheddar, and Little Gem lettuce (was supposed to be butter lettuce but I didn't see any at the store).

We went to a museum and ended up in a nearby tourist trap afterwards for dinner because the hubby wanted to eat in the first place he saw. Seafood sharing platter. Smoked salmon and prawns were okay and the rest of it was yuck. It was ludicrously expensive.

๐ฝ๏ธ Stuffed Peppers tonight
๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ณ used a blend of ground beef with heart and liver. Mixed in onion, garlic, oregano, Cajun seasoning, corn, carrots, peas, green beans. Married with tomato sauce and topped with percorino Romano.

Only 1/4 tsp of anchovy paste, to be clear But it really elevated the whole thing.1 -
I had a girlfriend in college who was a brilliant kitchen hack and would substitute anchovies and anchovy paste with Vietnamese fish sauce (which is made from anchovies). She would make caesar dressing by adding garlic powder and fish sauce to mayo. Fish sauce is something she always had in the pantry.5

I have fish sauce too. I prefer anchovy paste when possible because it's higher in fat, lower in protein, and has half the sodium. Fits better with my macros Fish sauce + mayo sounds interesting though!1

Salad with halved grapes, blue cheese, croutons and ranch followed by spaghetti aglio olio.

Salmon, carrots, baby red potato, brussel sprouts and okra. The goop in the middle is an onion jam, and it's amazing.

@100Rabbits your plates always look so appealing! Apparently today is salmon day I had mine broiled with orange zest & mint. The salad was spring mix & delicious avocado topped with pickled red onion, plus a light olive oil-lemon juice dressing and a touch of grated parmesan.

Last night's dinner at home: Hibachi chicken and vegetable fried rice. Still experimenting with the new outdoor griddle

Lunch salad of spinach, tomatoes, pickled banana peppers, and airfried zucchini and tofu. Airfried tofu is sooo good!

Our usual salad with grapes and blue cheese followed by spaghetti carbonara.

I apparently missed the memo that Monday is salmon day ๐
Lime and chili flake salmon with onions and peppers. Fresh pasta from the farmers market too.

I had some leftover salmon today so I'm gonna declare today Salmon Day Part II in your honor
Would you be willing to share your recipe for the salmon dish? Looks delectable.2 -
Bouillabaisse. Don't make it too often but was requested from some friends.
