@AlphaHowls please consider my comment only as poor joking. 🙃🥹 You actually INSPIRE all of us here and I love your posting. Please don't ever stop... ✅🌟✅
The opener tells it like it is. We each do what we can. Some of us are old or fat or slow or speedy or Tarun... etc. (he's a class by himself yes? 🤓) but we are all here and seeing what you are capable of thru thick and thin often reminds me that I need not wimp at the smallest thing. Cause I tell myself what would @AlphaHowls do? 😳🤷♀️🤣💖
And oh my I hope to see an Eagle one day. Gorgeous.10 -

@SummerSkier hahahahaha
I'm nothing special... I'm neither as fast as @Scott6255 nor do I do @AlphaHowls ' mileage.4 -
Side note-
Got a response from MFP about my ticket about posting in the forum's via Android...
One for you @polskagirl01 .... I tried Sernik6 -
@AlphaHowls Please continue to post and share all of your sunrises and running adventures. Yes, you run a lot of mileage. That's who you are. When I first started this group my monthly goals were maybe 50 miles and there were several big mileage runners here. Yep, it was a little intimidating until I got to know people and then was able to realize that I don't want to do what you do!! I worked up to where I want to be and it doesn't bother me 1 lick that you run like 4x my monthly mileage. You do you!!10

@teresa502 The sky is beautiful! That's a cool sculpture. I love large scale sculpture.tarun_yadavA wrote: »I'm nothing special... Share, share! I've missed being able to post pictures.3 -
12.5/120 miles
10/2: 3 miles
10/4: 2.8 miles
10/5: 3.7 miles
10/6: 5 miles
5 miles on this hills this morning with temps at a cool 67F!! Knocking 5-10 degrees off makes such a big difference. It should be in the 50's tomorrow and it will be glorious.
As I was driving in last night I caught a beautiful sunset. It was gone by the time I got to the house so no pic, but I'm glad I saw it.8 -

<kidding> <maybe not>
I certainly do not want anyone to feel intimidated by my mileage. It is just part of me, what I train for. The goal for me is just to run.
I have thought about it over the last few days, maybe not post as much. I do not know yet.
I did want to post today because a client of mine caught this picture on his way in for appointment.
Another client brought me pears:This baby weighs 14.9 oz!
Mileage to date:10/1 18.41 miles, 1980 days on the run, 1162 days HM+ Streak, County Line and back
10/2 29.3 miles County Line, kept going, and back
10/3 18.17 miles
10/4 18.2 miles
10/5 18.3 miles, Running Partner A
10/6 18.41 miles, high fog
Please post away! I thoroughly enjoy reading all the posts. They motivate me.
We should all be comfortable at the level we’re at and simply support each other. 😀

Whole heartily agree!! It is just an honor to be in a group with such a tremendously talented and humble athlete like @AlphaHowls and so many others here. I am always inspired by you all ❤️8

@AlphaHowls I agree with everyone else! Your mileage inspires me and actually gives me strength when I’m out there running! So, please, keep posting about it! We hope we can support you too!
That’s what I love about this group. It’s not about competition at all. It’s about everyone trying to reach their own very individual, personal goals- and sometimes maybe not making their goals but setting goals, which, in and of itself can be a powerful act. In my case at the moment that’s 160km- (a goal I’m personally content with) - in your case it’s 500miles ! . And that’s awesome just the way it is!7 -
Morning all.
Got in a 10K (09"23).
It's official @AlphaHowls ... Everybody Loves Raym.. -Jennifer!-
😂
@martaindale aww.
But can't tell if you're being sarcastic! Haha
So my android-ticket thing
Not yet resolved. Acknowledged it's a bug they're aware of.
So after a lot of 'type your reply above the line' to-ing and fro-ing... Asked what android phone I had. Said Google Pixel. They said if you login via Chrome on your Google pixel, you should be able to post!
And I can...!
So our Polish friends bought round this dessert yesterday so thought I'd break my food p0rn dry spell with a pic of a Polish Sernik

@tarun_yadavA I don't want to say I told you so, but on July 31 I said:
"I use an Android every day to access this forum Years ago I realized the MFP app was really wonky, but if you use a web browser to get here, everything works fine. So I would suggest to all the Android army to come here using your web browser."

@tarun_yadavA @Scott6255 ugh, that's not what I was wanting to hear. Sure, I can use the browser but the app is so convenient. I also have a Pixel. Fine, I'll break down and use the stupid browser after my run today and test post a picture.5

01/10 3.51 miles
02/10 2 miles
03/10 3.51 miles

No run yesterday as it was just too wet and a damp one 2day. It was supposed to be 23c today but the mist never lifted. I think u jinxed my weather @chris_in_cal 😂5 -
I haven't posted in a few days. This week has just been super busy and I got home late and needed to get up early, so didn't post so I could hopefully get to bed a little earlier. I did read over all of the posts I missed an commented on a few, but liked them all. You are all doing great!SummerSkier wrote: »Im pretty intimidated by the whole - I can just go out and run 30 miles when I have the time thing...😳😂🧐💖

@Laurz9191 I would love to run through a "tunnel of puppies." Glad you found your earbuds.SummerSkier wrote: »I accidently set my watch for 16 hrs instead of minutes and kept wondering why I had not hit the halfway point. @martaindale It was probably a great idea to not run outside, in the dark, yesterday after the storms. I think @Scott6255 would agree from past experience. (I see he did agree. ) Enjoy your weekend in the hill country.
@AlphaHowls Being intimidated by your running isn't a bad thing. As everyone else has said, I think it is inspirational and I don't want you to stop posting your runs, esp. if that is the reason. I love the picture of the bald eagle. That is a huge pear!
@Teresa502 That sculpture is interesting and the sky beautiful. Where do you work?

11 miles this morning. Yet again my brain betrayed my body (or the other way around, I don't know). But I guess all the pent up anticipation of cooler weather over rode my plan to take it slow and easy. It felt good not to be drenched in sweat for the entire run.

10/2: 3 miles
10/4: 2.8 miles
10/5: 3.7 miles
10/6: 5 miles
10/7: 8 miles
Such lovely weather! It was 62F and cloudy when I left. The wind was a bit of a challenge, especially if it was a headwind as you were going up a hill, but generally felt nice. I agree @Scott6255 it is so nice not to be dripping sweat for the entire run.
I was awake early enough to see the sunrise, which was gorgeous!

Great running @Scott6255 and @martaindale ! Glad your temps have cooled. Beautiful sky @martaindale !
Boo is so cute @AlphaHowls ! It WAS cool this morning.
10/1: 2.00 mile walk - driveway laps
10/2: 1.00 mile walk - 2.85 miles ran - driveway Fast Finish Run
10/3: 1.00 mile walk - Push mowed at mom's almost an hour
10/4: 2.00 mile walk - driveway
10/5: 1.00 mile walk - 2.50 miles ran - Hill Repeats
10/6: 2.00 mile walk - treadmill
10/7: 1.00 mile walk - 4.25 mile run - treadmill - Failed at the 9 mile scheduled run
19.60/90 mile goal
I haven't posted my activity since the 2nd. Not sure how that happened, except that this week has been busier than most and that is saying something.
I had planned on running on Tues until mom's riding mowed refused to move so wound up push mower her yard. My neighbor and I took turns, but I still pushed for 50 minutes - I did all of the hilly part while he weed eat. I just didn't have a run in me after that, so just walked a mile on the driveway.
Wednesday, I worked until 3:30, so did a driveway walk after I got home before church.
Thursday I did do my scheduled Hill Repeats run after doing blood pressures all morning. I did 5 min Zone 1, 5 min Zone 2, then 10 x (30s Zone 5/90s recovery), 5 min Zone 1. It wasn't too bad. The average of the uphill zone 5 was 11:05 min/mile. I'll take that. The fastest 30s was the last, at 9:40 min/mile. Now, if I could just keep that up for longer than 30 seconds.
Yesterday, I worked at daycare until 4:45 and then had some errands to run. It was late and I was tired and hungry when I got home, so I just did a 2 mile treadmill walk while I watched Wheel of Fortune.
Today my schedule called for 9 mile easy long run. I was lazy and procrastinated a bit too long and ran out of time for 9 miles, which would take me about 2 hours at my easy pace. I decided to do an hour of running plus my 1 mile total for warm up and cool down. I did a treadmill run because the wind was blowing, the driveway is covered in slick leaves, and it was a bit chilly out there, despite the sun. I did 30 min of 4/1 run walk and then 30 min of 3/2 run walk to keep my HR below 140. I did pretty good as it was only over my goal for a total of about 6 min. Avg HR was 132 with a max of 144 bpm. So, I'm pleased with what I did, but far short of the plan.8
